Abstract
Description
- The invention relates to a side frame for an inserting device of a cooking compartment, which comprises at least one guiding device comprising a support rod and a guide rod, which is radially spaced apart therefrom and which runs substantially parallel, wherein the guide rod encompasses a guide rod length, which is at least more than a third of a support rod length of the support rod. Furthermore, the invention relates to a cooking appliance comprising a cooking compartment, in which a guiding device comprising at least one support rod and at least one guide rod, which corresponds thereto, for cooking compartment accessories, such as an oven tray, is arranged, wherein a cooking compartment access opening can be closed by means of a cooking compartment door.
- To make it easier in cooking appliances to insert, in particular, trays for items to be cooked, on which an item to be cooked can be cooked, into a cooking compartment, provision is almost always made in such a cooking compartment for inserting devices, which have several guiding devices, in which an oven tray can safely be positioned in the cooking compartment. The inserting devices can hereby be formed by side walls of the cooking compartment.
- Inserting devices consisting of additional frames, however, are also well known from the state of the art. For example, a household appliance comprising a cooking compartment, in which lateral accommodation devices are arranged, is known from patent specification
DE 101 25 247 C1 . Holding devices for items to be cooked can be inserted into the cooking compartment at different levels and can be positioned in the cooking compartment by means of the accommodation devices. To be able to safely guide the holding devices for items to be cooked in every one of the levels by means of the accommodation devices, the accommodation devices encompass pairs of bars, which run horizontally, between which the holding devices for items to be cooked can be inserted so as to be incapable of being tilted. - Oftentimes, the inserting devices are also fixed in the cooking compartment as exchangeable frames so that the inserting devices can be arbitrarily arranged in the cooking compartment, according to the requirements. An example for this is shown in published
patent application DE 10 2004 001 683 A1 , in which guiding elements of an inserting device, which run approximately horizontally, can be individually fastened on side walls of a device muffle. The guiding elements provide support surfaces for baking trays or the like, which are inserted into the device muffle. To keep the baking trays from tilting, each guiding element comprises, in its front third, a vertical stop so that the danger of a critical tilting of the baking trays out of the device muffle can be reduced. Advantageously, each of the guiding elements can be independently detached from the side walls so that guiding elements, which are not needed, can be removed from the device muffle without any problems. The guiding elements, which are thus not needed, also do not need to be heated, which can reduce the heating time of the device muffle. However, the respective attachment of the individual guiding elements is quite extensive and laborious. - It is the object of the invention to further develop generic inserting devices so that the insertion of a holding device for items to be cooked can be carried out in a particularly comfortable manner without first adapting an inserting device.
- This object is solved by means of a side frame for an inserting device of a cooking compartment, which comprises at least one guiding device comprising a support rod and a guide rod, which is radially spaced apart therefrom and which runs substantially parallel, wherein the guide rod encompasses a guide rod length, which is at least more than a third of a support rod length of the support rod and wherein the guiding device is characterized in that an insertion-side guide rod end at an insertion side of the guiding device lies axially behind an insertion-side support rod end.
- Due to the fact that the guide rod end at the insertion side of the guiding device lies axially behind the support rod end, which is located there, a holding device for items to be cooked can be inserted into the guiding device in a particularly rapid and reliable manner, because a tricky threading of the holding device for items to be cooked into an insertion compartment between the support rod and the corresponding guide rod is no longer necessary. Presently, this can be carried out in a particularly simple manner, because the front guide rod end behind the front support rod end advantageously jumps back and the guide rod does not overlap the region of the front support rod end hereby. The holding device for items to be cooked at the insertion side can thus be brought towards an overlap-free support region of the support rod without any problems and can be placed and deposited thereon, respectively.
- In this context, the term "axially behind" describes an arrangement of the support rod and of the guide rod, in which one end of the guide rod is arranged axially behind an end of the support rod, with respect to the longitudinal extension of the support and guide rods. In the instant case, the guide rod end is thus displaced in the direction of the longitudinal extension of the support rod.
- The term "insertion side" hereby describes the side of the side frame, which is open in such a manner that a holding device for items to be cooked, for example, can be placed onto the support rod and can subsequently be inserted into the inserting compartment. According to this, the inserting side of a side part, which is properly arranged in a cooking compartment, is the side of the side part, which faces a cooking compartment access opening. The same applies with reference to the orientations of the front support rod end and of the front guide rod end.
- An unintentional critical tilting of the holding device for items to be cooked is furthermore prevented in a particularly reliable manner in that the guide rod is at least more than a third of the support rod length. In particular with a holding device, which has already been further inserted into the guiding device, a tilting of the holding device for items to be cooked can still be prevented, because the further inserted end of the holding device for items to be cooked immediately knocks against the guide rod in response to a tilting movement and a further tilting is prevented. This is particularly advantageous when hot liquids, such as hot, liquid drippings, for example, are located in or on the holding device for items to be cooked. Smaller tilting movements are already sufficient here to make it possible for the liquid drippings to spill over the front edge of the holding device for items to be cooked. Such a tilting, however, can be prevented by means of the instant holding device for items to be cooked, which is designed to be sufficiently long, whereby severe burn injuries can be prevented.
- Furthermore, the guide rod provided herein advantageously reinforces the side frame so that even an accommodation of large loads can be carried out without problems.
- The term "side frame" hereby comprises any device, by means of which a side part, which preferably comprises more than one guiding device for holding devices for items to be cooked, can be provided within a cooking compartment of a cooking appliance. The side frame can hereby be made of a wire material or a raw material so that it is easy to erect and not much material must be heated.
- In the instant case, an inserting device substantially consists of two side frames, which correspond with one another and which can be placed laterally in a cooking compartment. For example, the side frames can be individually fastened on side walls of the cooking compartment or the side frames are fixedly connected with one another to a compact inserting device frame by means of rods.
- The term "support rod" describes a region of the side frame, on which a holding device for items to be cooked can be placed and can thus be safely stored in a cooking compartment. It shall be understood that the support rod can be designed in different ways for this purpose. For example, it can also be made of a sheet steel angle. It is made in a particularly simple manner, if it is made of a wire material or a raw material, as is the side frame.
- Something similar applies to the "guide rod" explained herein with reference to the producibility. However, the guide rod does not serve as a support for the holding device for items to be cooked, but as a counter bearing, by means of which an inadvertent tilting of the holding device for items to be cooked can be prevented. For this purpose, the guide rod is always arranged above a corresponding support rod. A support rod and a guide rod, which corresponds thereto, thus each form an inseparable rod pair.
- Each rod pair consisting of support rod and guide rod substantially form in each case one of the guiding devices of the side frame. In addition thereto, provision is preferably also made in the rear region of the side frame for a stop rod, which can prevent a holding device for items to be cooked to be inserted too far.
- With regard to structure, the guide rod end can be realized in a particularly simple manner so as to be located behind the support rod end when the guide rod is arranged opposite the support rod in an axially offset manner on the side frame.
- Advantageously, it can thus be realized that the support rod encompasses an overlap-free support region, which is not overlapped by a guide rod region. A holding device for items to be cooked can thus be placed onto the support region of the support rod in a particularly simple manner so that the holding device for items to be cooked can be inserted into a guiding device of the side frame in a particularly advantageous manner.
- With regard to construction, such an overlap-free support region at the instant side frame can be realized in a particularly simple manner when an insertion-side support rod end is located in a first vertical level and when an insertion-side guide rod end is located in a further level, which differs from the first vertical level.
- The support rod and the guide rod are hereby preferably oriented perpendicular as compared to the two vertical levels. At any rate, the support rod and the guide rod do not extend within the vertical levels, but they pierce through it.
- A sufficiently large overlap-free support region can be provided when the first vertical level and the second vertical level are arranged at a distance from one another of more than 5 mm, preferably of more than 10 mm.
- A holding device for items to be cooked can be placed particularly well onto the support rod when the first vertical level and the second vertical level are arranged at a distance from one another of less than 200 mm, preferably of less than 50 mm.
- When the support rod and the corresponding guide rod of a common guiding device are indirectly connected with one another, the support rod and the guide rod can be realized by means of a simple geometric shape, preferably by means of a rod, which is bent only two-dimensionally. In the instant case, the term "indirectly" means that the support rod and the guide rod are connected with one another via at least one further connecting rod. At any rate, the support rod itself is not directly connected with the guide rod, for example welded thereto, or vice versa.
- In a further advantageous exemplary embodiment, an insertion-side support rod end can be arranged on a first vertical rod of the side frame and an insertion-side guide rod end can be arranged on a further vertical rod of the side frame for realizing an overlap-free support region, wherein the first vertical rod is arranged at a distance from the further vertical rod. Through this, the ends of the support rod and of the guide rod, respectively, at the insertion side of the side frame can be held in a particularly stable manner. The ends of the support rod and of the guide rod, respectively, facing the insertion side can be connected with one another in an advantageous manner, for example, by means of the stop rod, which has already been described above.
- Furthermore, the object of the invention is solved by means of a cooking appliance comprising a cooking compartment, in which an inserting device comprising at least one support rod and comprising at least one guide rod corresponding thereto for holding devices for items to be cooked, such as oven trays, is arranged, wherein a cooking compartment access opening can be closed by a cooking compartment door and wherein the support rod is arranged closer to the cooking compartment access opening and/or the cooking compartment door than the guide rod. In so doing, the support rod can reach farther towards the cooking compartment access opening and/or towards the cooking compartment door so that an overlap-free support region is created on the insertion side on the support rod for a holding device for items to be cooked.
- Advantageously, the cooking appliance is further developed when the inserting device encompasses at least one side frame according to one of the afore-described feature combinations.
- The invention will be explained in more detail below by means of exemplary.embodiments. Reference is thereby made to the drawings, wherein
- FIG. 1
- shows a perspective view of a cooking appliance comprising a cooking compartment and an inserting device, which can be arranged therein, comprising side frames, whereby a guide rod end lies axially behind a support rod end on an insertion side of a guiding device,
- FIG. 2
- shows a perspective view of the cooking compartment of the cooking appliance from
FIG. 1 comprising a side frame arranged on a side wall of the cooking compartment, and - FIG. 3
- shows a side view of the side frame from
FIG. 2 , - The
cooking appliance 1 shown inFIG. 1 encompasses ahousing 2 by means of which provision is made in particular for acooking compartment 3 for cooking items to be cooked. Thecooking compartment 3 can be accessed from the front via a cookingcompartment access opening 4, wherein the cooking compartment access opening 4 can be closed by means of a cooking compartment door 5 in the front region 6 of thecooking appliance 1. Acontrol panel 7, by means of which thecooking appliance 1 can be put into operation and can be operated is located above the cookingcompartment access opening 4. - The
illustration 10 according toFIG. 2 allows for a very good view into thecooking compartment 3 of thecooking appliance 1, wherein, for the sake of clarity, only the housingrear wall 11 and theright housing side 12 of thehousing 2 are illustrated here. - A side frame 13 (see also in particular
FIG. 3 ) is fastened to theright housing side 12 in thecooking compartment 3. Theside frame 13 is a first component of an inserting device of thecooking compartment 3, which is not shown in detail herein, wherein in this exemplary embodiment the inserting device substantially consists of theside frame 13 and a further side frame, which is not illustrated herein, and which can be correspondingly arranged on theleft housing side 14 of thehousing 2 in a mirror-inverted manner to theside frame 13. - Different cooking compartment horizontal levels (not explicitly shown herein) can be created in the
cooking compartment 3 by means of the inserting device consisting of the two side frames 13, in that holding devices for items to be cooked (not illustrated herein) can be correspondingly inserted into guiding devices 15 (only numbered in an exemplary manner) of the side frames 13, which are arranged at different levels. - Each of the guiding
devices 15 is formed by means of asupport rod 16 and aguide rod 17. Thesupport rod 16 hereby mainly serves the purpose of allowing a holding device for items to be cooked to be placed and deposited thereon, respectively, so as to be able to insert the holding device for items to be cooked into thecooking compartment 3 on a selected cooking compartment horizontal level. Theguide rod 17 substantially serves the purpose of preventing the holding device for items to be cooked, which is placed onto thesupport rod 16, from being able to inadvertently tilt above an insertion-sidesupport rod end 18 according to a tilting direction 19. To reduce the danger of such a tilting of the holding device for items to be cooked, theguide rod 17 encompasses a guide rod length 20 (seeFIG. 3 ), which is at least more than a third of asupport rod length 21 of thesupport rod 16. - Such a shortening of the
guide rod 17 as compared to thesupport rod 16 can advantageously be used to leave an insertion-sideguide rod end 22 axially 23 behind the insertion-sidesupport rod end 18 at theinsertion side 24 of the guidingdevice 15. - In so doing, an overlap-
free support region 25 is created on theinsertion side 24 on thesupport rod 16. A holding device for items to be cooked can be placed particularly well onto thesupport rod 16 on saidsupport region 25 so that an otherwise common and inconvenient threading of the holding device for items to be coked into an insertingcompartment 26 of the guidingdevice 15 can be avoided. This is particularly advantageous when hot items to be cooked are already located on the holding device for items to be cooked. - Advantageously, the
support rod end 18 ends in a firstvertical level 27, while theguide rod end 22 ends in a secondvertical level 28. According to the illustration ofFIG. 3 , the twovertical levels support rod 16 and theguide rod 17 run in the paper level. - The
vertical levels distance 29 to one another so that thesupport rod end 18 and theguide rod end 22 are also arranged so as to be apart from one another by thisdistance 29, provided that they are located in the respectivevertical level - The
side part 13 experiences a particularly good stability, because all of thesupport rods 16 are connected with one another by means of a firstvertical rod 30 in the region of theinsertion side 24 and because all of theguide rods 17 are connected with one another by means of a further vertical rod 31 in the region of theinsertion side 24. In this exemplary embodiment, the twovertical rods 30 and 31 are designed as adouble rod 32, to which in each case all of thesupport rods 16 and all of theguide rods 17 are welded. - A
stop rod 34, which in particular connects all of thehorizontal rods rear region 33 of theside frame 13. Thesupport rod 16 and theguide rod 17 are thus oriented substantially horizontal within thecooking compartment 3 and each form arod pair 35 of the guidingdevice 15. - Furthermore, the
side frame 13 has aradial holding device 36 and anaxial holding device 37, by means of which theside frame 13 can be reliably fastened to theright housing side 12. - The
side frame 13 as well as all of itsrods cooking compartment 3, do not affect theentire side frame 13. -
