Description
The present invention relates to a system for filling a joint between a rail and an adjacent surface, as well as a method for filling a joint and an insert element insertable in the system.
In the prior art systems for filling a joint and devices for insertion or introduction into a joint are known.
For closing longitudinal joints, in particular between rails and adjacent surfaces, in particular traffic areas such as roads, wherein the adjacent surfaces of asphalt or concrete or, for example, paving stones or the like may exist, it is known to work with hot potting compounds in particular on a bituminous basis. Such potting compounds can be used in particular for joints that only make low demands on the restoring behavior of the joint potting. However, if a high recovery behavior is necessary, for example, joint compounds are used polysulfide-based.
However, in these casting compositions known from the prior art, the problem arises that the horizontal and / or vertical forces acting on a track construction with rails occur both statically and dynamically. Both strains, compressions and shear as well as combinations of these occur. When driving over the track areas, for example, with a rail vehicle occur depressions and / or a stroke of the rail, from which horizontal and / or vertical movements of Fugenvergusses greater than 1 mm can occur. In addition, the deeper a joint is formed, the greater the attacking tension forces are when the joint expands at the constrictions of the potting compound that then form.
By the above-mentioned forces in particular parallel cracks can occur, whereby water can penetrate into the composite rail - potting - adjacent surface. This creates the risk of formation of frost damage as well as corrosion within the network. This occurs in particular for large joint gap widths greater than 30 mm.
Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zu Grunde, ein System zur Verfügung zu stellen, mittels welchem die vorstehend aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten Nachteile verringert oder vermieden werden sollenThe present invention is therefore based on the object to provide a system by means of which the disadvantages known from the prior art are to be reduced or avoided
This object is achieved by the subjects of the statements 1, 5 and 7, namely by a system for filling a joint between a rail and an adjacent surface comprising at least one potting material and at least one insert element. The insert element has the task to absorb the attacking forces, in particular horizontal and vertical forces, and thereby reduce the formation of particular parallel cracks in the composite rail - joint filling - adjacent area. In addition, a smaller amount of potting material is required by the use of an insert element, whereby the related effort in the production, possibly heating when using a hot-processable material and introduction thereof into a joint is reduced.
Rails in the context of the present invention are in particular those with standard profiles such as the S 49 profile or the
The potting material according to the present invention, which can also be addressed as a grout, is a hot or cold processable material which is incorporated into the joint gap between rail and adjacent surface. In this case, mixtures of different potting materials can be used, or it can be built layers of different potting materials in the joint gap. Preferably, the potting material is selected from a group comprising cold and / or Heißvergussmassen. This is particularly preferably selected from a group comprising bitumen-based or polyurethane-based materials. In the case of the use of bituminous joint compounds, these additives may contain, inter alia, plastics, plasticizers and mineral fillers, so that they can be adapted to the individual needs on site. In particular, polymer-modified bitumen can be used. Hot processed grouts, in particular Paving and rail joint masses are thermoplastic materials which predominantly comprise bitumen, which serves as a binder. Depending on the desired properties the thermoplastic or plastic properties of these grouts can be adjusted. Cold workable joint compounds are in particular reactive, without heat input installable one- or two-component systems, in particular those based on polyurethane, with predominantly elastic properties.
Advantageously, the system according to the invention may also comprise a release agent, whereby a three-layer adhesion can be prevented. The release agent is preferably applied to a joint base, so that adhesion of the potting material takes place at the joint edges of the rail and the adjacent surface. These joint flanks can also be advantageously pretreated with a primer or a primer / primer, in order to increase the adhesion to this. According to the invention, the insert element is at least partially surrounded by the potting material, and preferably potting material is at least partially disposed of the insert element. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the potting material surrounds the insert element completely, apart from those partial surfaces of the insert element, which may optionally come into contact with the joint bottom, which can provide the insert element with a footprint, or the joint flanks of the joint. In the relevant contact areas between joint flanks or joint bottom and insert element can, however, must not be present potting material, so that a nearly complete environment of the insert element is given by the potting material, which is fully equivalent within the meaning of the present invention with the term.
In the system according to the invention, the insert element has at least one toothed part. The toothing part is preferably at least partially surrounded by the potting material. By the provision of such toothing by the insert element a permanent bond between the potting material and the insert element is achieved. Resistance and gearing possibilities between the potting material and the insert element are made available by the at least one toothed part, so that on the one hand the attacking horizontal and / or vertical forces can be transmitted directly to the insert element via the potting material and derived therefrom, on the other hand a crack formation in the Contact area of the potting material with the insertion element is avoided. Particularly preferably, the gearing parts have a so-called dovetail profile seen in cross-section, but may nevertheless also be configured in any other possible shape, for example by saw-like or otherwise jagged projections and / or recesses. In particular, the insert element may also have differently shaped toothing parts, depending on the requirements placed on this.
According to the invention, it is provided that the insert element has a main part, which according to the invention serves to receive horizontal and / or vertical stresses. Further, the invention provides that the insert element has at least two foot parts and the main part and / or foot part of the insert element has at least one toothing part.
Preferably, the insert element of the system according to the invention is profile-like, in particular as an extruded profile formed. In this case, the insert element may be formed as a solid profile, for example as a round profile, or as an open profile, but particularly preferably as a hollow chamber profile. The profile-like insertion element preferably has the already already mentioned above at least one toothing part. This can be arranged for example in the case of the formation of the profile as a solid profile and here in particular as a round profile on the outer periphery, in the case of an open profile, in particular open joint profiles, for example, on the top or bottom or on cross members thereof, and in the case of a hollow chamber profile any place of the same. In order to facilitate the distribution of potting material, a profile can have horizontal and / or vertical passages, in particular in the foot part and / or main part, it being important to ensure that hollow chambers are not filled.
In the particularly preferred embodiment of the system according to the invention, the insert element is designed as a hollow chamber profile, this preferably has at least one, more preferably at least two, even more preferably at least three, in a particularly preferred embodiment, exactly three chambers, which may be continuous, but need not , on. The chambers can be dimensioned differently. In a design with exactly three chambers preferably two chambers are identical, preferably arranged in mirror image to each other, formed, whereas a third chamber has a different dimensioning for this purpose.
The third chamber is preferably arranged between the two identical chambers, and has a mirror-symmetrical design along a through the Center of the third chamber extending perpendicular mirror plane, based on a cross section of the hollow chamber profile-like insert element. But any other training of the chambers in a hollow chamber profile-like insert element is possible. Thus, for example, exactly two chambers can be provided, which can be arranged identically to one another, in particular symmetrically to one another, in the interior of the profile-like insertion element, but can also be dimensioned differently. Also, more than three chambers, for example, four, five, six or seven chambers may be provided, wherein preferably an arrangement of all chambers takes place symmetrically with respect to a vertical mirror plane, which extends centrally through the profile-like insert element, based on the cross section. The provision of, in particular, at least two chambers makes it possible to absorb horizontal and / or vertical stresses which are exerted by forces exerted on the system arranged in the joint, and enables their discharge.
In a preferred embodiment of the system according to the invention, preferably at least two chambers of a hollow profile-like insert element are arranged in the main part thereof. However, the chambers can also be arranged in a basic part encompassed by the main part, or one or two chamber walls can directly adjoin the base part. But even in a foot part of the insert element, at least one chamber can be provided.
The base of the insert element of the system according to the invention is rounded according to the invention. Preferably, the base defines a bow or radial segment or arc, more preferably at least the inside of the base forms a semicircle. In this case, the base part carries the remaining parts of the main part, and further provides, according to the invention, the at least one connection region to the at least one foot part. The base has arcuate or radial segments or arc, so that in an arrangement of the insert element in a joint by collapsing the at least two foot parts in the direction of a centrally, relative to the cross section through the insert element, extending vertical plane on the one hand without problems a prestressed Arrangement of the insert element in a narrow Fugue is possible, on the other hand due to the movement of the at least two foot parts in the direction of said plane of the insert element resulting material bulges are at least partially avoided or do not preclude a biased arrangement of the insert element in the joint.
The foot part is connected according to the invention via at least one connecting region of the base part of the main part with the latter. The foot parts may, like the main part, have at least one toothed part, wherein this toothed part is preferably arranged on a side of the foot part facing the main part.
The connecting region of the base part of the main part to the foot parts has according to the invention at least one, preferably two material weakenings. This material weakening is preferably arranged on the inside of the base part. The material weakening can be introduced in any manner, for example, this can be seen in the cross section of the insert element is a semicircular, drei-, four or polygonal recess. In the case of a profile-like design of the insert element is then on the inside of the base plate at least one appropriately trained and preferably over the entire length of the insert element extending groove, for example, with a semicircular or otherwise square cross section. The weakening of the material serves to avoid or reduce the formation of bulges of material when the at least one foot part collapses in an exciting arrangement of the insertion element in a joint.
On the side facing away from the main part of the foot part is at least one projection, preferably at least two projections arranged. These projections can be seen in the cross section of the insert element, for example, sawtooth-like, but also designed in any other way. In this way, in a preferred installation of the insert element on a joint base, an additionally secure connection is also achieved in the area of the foot part with the potting material, since this is arranged in the lateral areas of a projection or intermediate areas in the provision of several projections. Preferably, the foot part on a lateral footprint, which is preferably provided by an outer wall of a projection on the underside of the foot part available. When folding a foot part in a necessary biased arrangement of the insert element in a joint, the insert element can then be placed on a joint bottom.
The main part of the insert element of the system according to the invention preferably comprises at least one roof part in addition to the base part and the at least one connection region to the at least one connecting part that can be assigned to it. This roof panel serves to accommodate in particular vertical stresses, and preferably has at least one payment element. This toothed element can be designed differently to the other toothing elements, which can be arranged on the main body and / or footboard. Furthermore, in a particularly preferred embodiment, the main part comprises a central part, which is arranged between the roof part and the base part. The central part can be dimensioned such that it preferably absorbs horizontal stresses acting on the insert element of the system according to the invention. More preferably, connecting arms are arranged between the base part of the main part and the center part of the main part and / or the roof part of the main part. These connecting arms form at least partially the walls of at least one chamber at a hollow profile-like design of the insert element at least. The at least two connecting arms give the insertion element sufficient elasticity to absorb and remove horizontally and / or vertically attacking stresses.
Preferably, at least the main part of the insert element, preferably the entire insert element on a mirror plane, arranged centrally and perpendicularly with respect to the cross section of the insert element. As a result, forces acting on both sides of the insert element can be removed in the same way.
If the rail is designed as a Vignol rail or Breitfußschiene, the joint bottom is formed by a chamber filling, formed for example of solidified granular material, or from a Kammerfüllelement. Then preferably the insert element of the system according to the invention is placed on this chamber filling.
The present invention further relates to a method according to claim 4, namely for filling a joint between a rail and an adjacent surface with the system according to the invention, wherein at least one insert element and at least one potting material is introduced into the joint. Particularly preferably, the at least one insert element is first introduced into the joint. If the insert element is of profile-like design, a single insert element profile can be applied over the entire length of the joint, however, the profile-like insert element can also be disassembled into individual pieces and inserted into these directly adjacent to one another or even spaced apart in the joint. Of course, non-profile-like insert elements, which preferably have closed and open at any end side chambers used become. In a preferred embodiment of the method according to the invention, a release agent is applied to a bottom of the joint before introducing the insert element and / or the potting material. In the case of Vignol rails or wide-leg rails, the reason may also be formed, for example, by a chamber filling element or other chamber filling.

The subject matter of the present invention thus provides a system by means of which attacking horizontal and / or vertical stresses, in contrast to the materials known from the prior art, can be easily and safely removed, at the same time employing directly treatable on-site Potting material is reduced. Both in Providence rough joint edges, which are present in particular when milling asphalt or concrete layers, but also in the presence of joint edges, which are relatively smooth, which can be done for example by inserting a spacer bar in the production of a traffic area, the system of the invention offers great advantages , In particular, it always has good values for the elongation at break and tear strength, both on milled joint flanks and on cut joint flanks. Also, a good connection of the same to the potting material is ensured by the specific design of the insert element. Finally, the insert element according to the invention can be used not only in rail longitudinal joints, but also in other other joints in road construction, but also in other areas of construction, for example, in civil engineering, structural engineering, especially in house building.
