Description

The present invention relates to a device for guiding a window pane for a window lifter of a wall of a motor vehicle.

Such guiding devices are mounted in particular for electric window lifts of motor vehicle doors.

Known guiding devices comprise two guide rails spaced from each other and oriented substantially vertically in the door of the vehicle. In these guide rails are mounted movable sliders in translation and these sliders are respectively connected to the glass through an adapter.

A disadvantage of these guiding devices lies in their mounting mode in the door, because it is necessary to adapt the orientation of the rails in the door for each vehicle of a assembly line, given the positioning dispersions due to the chains of odds. Also, the window which is secured to the guide rails is adjusted in the closed position to ensure the tightness of the closure; the guide rails then held substantially in the same plane and in the door, are then locked in the orientation corresponding to the shutter position of the window. However, if this orientation ensures sealing of the closure, it is not absolutely certain that these guide rails are strictly parallel to each other in this same plane. In addition, the subsequent adjustment of their parallelism may change the first setting. Also, complex systems have been planned to mitigate them.

In particular, we can refer to the document FR 2 812 680 which describes such a system. The slider comprises two vice plates provided with guide grooves oriented perpendicularly to said guide rails and parallel to said plane, while the adapter, in which the window engages, is provided with complementary ribs and in turn engages between the two plates. This system comprises means for clamping the two plates to block the adapter by fixed position relative to the cursor. In addition, indexing means of the adapter relative to the cursor, to adjust the relative position of the cursors with respect to the adapters during the movement of the sliders in the guide rails. However, the relative position of the sliders and adapters must be adjusted prior to tightening the two plates and this adjustment requires to mobilize the window vertically.

Also, a problem that arises and that aims to solve the present invention is to provide a simpler guiding device, to not only reduce the intrinsic costs, but moreover, to reduce installation costs.

In order to solve this problem, the present invention proposes a device for guiding a windowpane for a window lifter of a motor vehicle wall, said window being movable in translation relative to said wall in a determined direction, said guiding device comprising two guide rails oriented substantially in said determined direction by defining a mean plane, said guide rails being respectively equipped with a slider mounted to move in translation in the guide rail, said guide device comprising two adapters respectively connecting together said sliders and said pane; according to the invention said adapters are respectively mounted free in translation in said sliders in a direction of sliding substantially perpendicular to said guide rails and parallel to said mean plane, to allow the sliding of said sliders relative to said adapters when said sliders are driven in said rails guide for mobilizing said window in translation.

A feature of this device lies in the mode of connection of the adapters in their respective slider with which, the sliders are free in translation relative to the adapters in a direction perpendicular to said guide rails and parallel to the average plane. So, instead of looking first for absolute parallelism between the guide rails to then block the adapters in their respective slider, according to the invention is fixed the orientation of the guide rails without worrying about their parallelism and on the other hand, it allows the alternative sliding of the sliders relative to their adapter during the rise and fall of the window, after the final assembly of the device.

L'invention est définie par combinaison des caractéristiques de la revendication 1.The invention is defined by combining the features of claim 1.

According to the invention, said slider has at least two translation guide grooves opposite to each other and oriented perpendicular to the guide rail and parallel to said mean plane, while said adapter has two opposite free edges adapted to come into contact with each other. taken respectively in said guide grooves. Thus, the two guide grooves respectively form slides in which the free edges are adapted to slide. The adapter then has a single degree of freedom in translation relative to the cursor.

In addition, said adapter has two opposite edges respectively along said opposite free edges and said free edges are respectively curved substantially perpendicular to said borders so that the border and the corresponding free edge, provide more extensive guide surfaces in said grooves. Moreover, said adapter defining an average adapter plane, one of said borders is bent substantially perpendicularly to said average adapter plane and in a direction opposite to the free edge of the other of said borders so that the free edge of said one of said borders defines a plane substantially parallel and spaced from said mean adapter plane while the free edge of said other of said borders is substantially perpendicular to said substantially parallel plane.

According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, said borders are respectively divided into two edge portions spaced from one another by providing respectively two free edge portions which then form a pair of free wings. Thus, as will be explained in more detail below, the adapter then has a free central portion that extends between the edge portions of the two opposite edges.

Furthermore, one of said borders, and preferably one that is not curved, has a recess so that said free edge portions of said corresponding edge portions define two parallel planes spaced apart from each other. Obviously, the corresponding guide groove will therefore be divided into two portions of grooves offset with respect to one another as will be explained below.

Also, said slider advantageously has curved U-shaped portions to form said grooves and, preferably having a sliding plane, first slider portions are U-bent in a plane substantially parallel to said sliding plane to form one of said grooves, while second cursor portions are U-bent in a plane substantially perpendicular to said sliding plane to form the other of said grooves. Thus, are the two free edge portions of said curved edge adapted to engage said first slider portions, while the two non-curved free edge portions of the other edge engage in said second portions cursor parts. In this way, the adapter is completely trapped in the slider and it can move there slidably in the single direction defined by said grooves.

Particularly advantageously, the guiding device further comprises a gripper plate forming a vice integral with said adapter and adapted to be forcefully brought together to receive and fix said window. In addition, the guiding device further comprises a sliding plate, for example made of a plastic material with a low coefficient of friction, located between said adapter and said slider and which facilitates the sliding of the adapter against the slider, and attenuate the amplitude of the sound waves due to friction.

The Figure 1 shows the lower part of a guide rail 10 equipped with an electric motor 12 which allows to drive in translation a cable not shown. On the rail 10 is slidably mounted a slider 14 movable in translation according to the orientation of the rail Z, and is driven by means of the aforementioned cable. On the slider 14 is mounted an adapter 16 which will be detailed below, and which is slidably mounted in the slider 14 in a direction X perpendicular to that of the Z orientation of the rail. Furthermore, the guide rail 10 extends substantially parallel to another guide rail similarly equipped but not shown and with which it defines a first middle plane. On the Figure 1 the two perpendicular directions X and Z define this first middle plane. With regard to the adapter 16 formed of a plate, it defines an average adapter plane P substantially parallel to the aforementioned first average plane and it has a first free lower edge portion 18 bent substantially 90 ° with respect to the plane means of adapter P. A second portion of free bottom edge that does not appear on the Figure 1 will be described below. In contrast, it has a first 20 and a second 22 upper edge portions, curved substantially 90 ° to the plane means P adapter opposite the first portion of lower free edge 18, relative to the plane P and which extend respectively by a first 24, and a second 26 upper free edges curved in turn in opposite direction, 90 ° to the first 20 and second 22, upper edge portions.

We find on the Figure 3 the plate 16 completely uncovered and whose inner face 29, behind the plane of the Figure 3 next to the slider 14. In particular there are the first 24 and second 26 curved upper free edges which extend behind the plane P of the plate 16 and substantially parallel to the latter forming two free wings; these free edges 24, 26 extending respectively at 90 ° from the first 20 and second 22 upper edge portions, themselves substantially perpendicular to the plane P. Also found opposite the first curved upper free edge 24, the first portion of a lower free edge 18 also forming a wing which extends forward of the plane P and whose width is identical to that of the first upper free edge 24.

Between the upper free edges 24, 26 and the upper edge portions 20, 22 protrudes in its plane P, an upper portion 28 of platinum 16.

Cette seconde portion de bord inférieur libre 34 forme également une aile libre opposée au second bord libre supérieur 26 et parallèle au bord inférieur libre 18.In contrast, the first lower free edge portion 18 extends from a first lower edge portion 30 which extends in the plane P of the plate 16. However, from a second edge portion 32 which forms a recess relative to the first lower edge portion 30, extends a second portion of free lower edge 34 bent substantially perpendicularly and in front of the plane P, which did not appear on the Figure 1 . This second free lower edge portion 34 also forms a free flange opposite to the second upper free edge 26 and parallel to the free lower edge 18.

In addition, between the two lower free edge portions 18, 34 extends a lower portion 36 of platinum 16, opposite the upper portion 28. in the plane P. This lower portion 36 has a slot 38 and a central hole 40, the functions of which will be explained below.

We will refer again to the Figure 1 , to describe in more detail the slider 14. The latter comprises a substantially rectangular plate 42 provided with four flanges, an upper 44, two lateral 46, 50 and a lower 48. The plate 42 has a sliding surface 52, here back of the Figure 1 and covered by the plate 16, this sliding surface 52 defining a sliding plane P 'parallel to the plane P of the plate 16.

The upper rim 44 defines a wafer 54 at the two ends of which protruding curved portions U-shaped and respectively forming a first upper portion of grooves 56 and a second upper portion of groove 58. These bent portions 56, 58 to which the sliding plane P 'is tangent, are open towards the sliding surface 52. As illustrated by FIG. Figure 1 the first 24 and second 26 curved upper free edges respectively engage in the first 56 and second 58 upper portions of the groove.

Là encore, la première portion de bord inférieur libre 18 vient s'engager dans la première portion inférieure de rainure 60.In contrast, appears on the Figure 1 a U-shaped curved portion forming a first lower groove portion 60 and projecting from the sliding surface 52 substantially perpendicular to the sliding plane P '. Again, the first free lower edge portion 18 engages in the first lower groove portion 60.

With regard to the second portion of the free lower edge 34 which appears visibly on the Figure 3 it is engaged in a second lower groove portion 62 which, like the first, is formed of a U-shaped curved portion projecting from the sliding surface 52.

Furthermore, a sliding plate 64 made of a plastic material having a low coefficient of friction, for example polyacetal (POM), is interposed between the plate 16 and the slider 14 more particularly in all the contact surfaces. So, the plate of Slide 64 covers not only the entire sliding surface 52, but also the interior of the curved U-shaped portions 56, 58, 60 and 62 forming the grooves.

Thus, as illustrated on the Figure 3 , the plate 16 is adapted to be driven in translation in the direction X perpendicular to the rail 10 and to the left so that the upper free edges 24, 26 and the first and second lower free edge portions 18, 34 respectively sliding engagement in the first and second upper groove portions 56, 58 and the first and second lower groove portions 60, 62 covered by the slide plate 64. In addition, the inner face 29 of the plate 16 comes into bearing against the sliding plate 64 which itself bears against the sliding surface 52 of the plate 42.

Aussi, la longueur des bords libres et des rainures Ă©tant de l'ordre du centimètre, par exemple deux centimètres, en thĂ©orie, la platine 16 demeure solidaire du curseur 14 sur une course d'environ 4 cm.Mounted in this way, the plate 16 has a single degree of freedom with respect to the slider in translation in the direction X. The length of the free edges 18, 34, 24, 26 corresponds substantially to the length of the grooves 56, 58, 60, 62 and they are adapted to be housed entirely in the grooves simultaneously. Also, the length of the free edges and grooves being of the order of one centimeter, for example two centimeters, in theory, the plate 16 remains secured to the slider 14 on a stroke of about 4 cm.

However, as will be explained below, the sliding amplitudes that are functionally necessary are less than 1 cm and are, for example, more or less 3.5 mm around a neutral position of the plate 16 and the cursor 14 illustrated. on the Figure 1 .

On this Figure 1 Also shown at the rear of the plate 42 is a recess, from which there protrudes a sleeve 66 of substantially rectangular cross-section, of which two opposite corners have a rounded shape, while the other two form a right angle. In the two opposite corners of the two right angles, extends respectively at substantially 45 °, an elastic tongue 68 and engaged between the two tabs 68, appears a screw head 70. The features of these features will be explained below.

But we will refer before that to the Figure 4 , on which the guiding device according to the invention and shown on the Figure 2 appears precisely in a section perpendicular to the X direction passing through the aforementioned screw here referenced 72 and whose head 70 is found. As this clearly appears on the Figure 4 , the sleeve 66 and the sliding plate 64 actually form one and the same molded piece of plastic. The screw 72 whose head 70 bears against the inner surface 29 of the plate 16 inside the sleeve 66 extends through the central hole 40 and projects from the plate 16. In addition, it is screwed into a nut 74 which comes to imprison a clamp plate 76, here in partial view and which will now also be described with reference to the Figure 2 .

Thus, we find on this Figure 2 , in front view, the guide device according to the invention and shown in rear view on the Figure 1 . In addition to the plate 16 found in the cursor 14, the Figure 2 illustrates the clamp plate 76 which extends from the lower portion 36 of the plate 16 to the upper portion 28. A lower portion of the clamp plate 76 which extends opposite the lower portion 36 of the plate 16 has a support tongue 78. This support tongue 78 is engaged in the slot 38 of the plate 16 and has a return 80 which bears against the inner surface 29 of the plate 16. In contrast, a part upper clamp plate 76 is extended facing the upper portion 28 of the plate 16 precisely to form a clamp 82. Between the two, the clamp plate 76 has a bore through which the screw 72 and that covers the nut 74 in which said screw is screwed.

We will refer again to the Figure 4 , on which appears more clearly the clamp 82 formed by the upper part 28 of the plate 16 and the upper part of the clamp plate 76. On this Figure 4 a U-shaped and rubber insert 84 is clearly visible follow the shape of the inside of the clamp 82 to the screw 72 and which preserves a window of a motor vehicle contained in the clamp 82. The glass is indeed pinched between the upper part of the clamp plate 76 and the upper part 28 of the plate 16 by actuating the screw 72 in rotation through its head 70. In this way, the clamp plate 76 pivots around the return 80 and the upper part of the clamp plate 76 approaches the upper portion 28 of the plate 16 by enclosing the window. Thus, the window is completely integral with the plate 16, which itself is slidably mounted on the slider 14, in the direction X perpendicular to the Z direction of the rail 10.

We also find on the Figure 1 , the clamp 82 and partially the liner 84, within which the window is engageable. In addition, in view of the above description, it is understood that the screw head 70 is secured to the plate 16 and therefore at rest, the two elastic tabs 68 maintain the screw head 70 in the center of the sleeve 66 , rest position corresponding to the aforementioned neutral position of the plate 16 with respect to the slider 14.

In this way, when the window which is engaged in the gripper 82 and which is guided laterally, is driven vertically in translation in the Z direction of the rail 10 by means of the slider 14 which is driven along the rail 10 cable means, if the rail 10 is itself not oriented exactly parallel to the travel of the window, the plate 16 is then driven in translation in the direction X, to the rail 10 according to the arrow F or to the opposite of the rail according to the arrow T, as and the displacement of the slider 14. As a result, the screw head 70 oscillates in the sleeve 66 by coming to rest on the resilient tongues 68 they deform.

Thus, it is not necessary to provide a rigorous adjustment of the parallelism of the two slider guide rails since, thanks to the movement possible adapters relative to the cursor, this lack of parallelism is compensated.
