A method for producing a printed product in a print shop, wherein an unprinted printing material is printed in a printing press based on image data made available in a pre-printing stage and is further processed in at least one further processing machine into the deliverable printed product after the printing, wherein a use of energy or a consumption of power, respectively, of the aggregates involved in the production of the printed product of the pre-printing stage and/or of the printing press and/or of the or each further processing machine is detected, and that at least one aggregate is operated based on the detected energy use or the detected power consumption, respectively, in such a way that the energy use or the power consumption, respectively, is reduced in response to the production of the printed product, characterized in that the pneumatic and/or hydraulic and/or gas-side energy use or the pneumatic and/or hydraulic and/or gas-side electrical power consumption, respectively, is detected and that at least one aggregate of the pre-printing stage and/or of the printing press and/or of the or each further processing machine is operated in such a manner that the pneumatic and/or hydraulic and/or gas-side energy use or the pneumatic and/or hydraulic and/or gas-side power consumption, respectively, is reduced in response to the production of the printed product.
  2. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that that the electrical energy use or the electrical power consumption, respectively, is detected at least by aggregates of the printing press and the or each further processing machine, and that at least one aggregate of the printing press and/or of the or each further processing machine is operated in such a manner that the electrical energy use or the electrical power consumption, respectively, is reduced in response to the production of the printed product.
  3. The method according to claim 2, characterized in that, for this purpose, the machine speed of the printing press and/or of the or each further processing machine is reduced when a production time, which is maximally permissible for producing the printed product, is not exceeded.
  4. The method according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that, for this purpose, aggregates of the printing press and/or of the or each further processing machine, which are not currently needed for producing the printed product, are stopped or are transferred into a standby mode.
  5. The method according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that a print quality or printed product quality, respectively, which is reached in response to the production of the printed product, is furthermore detected and that, when it is determined hereby that a measure initiated for the reduction of the energy use or the power consumption, respectively, results in negative impacts on the print quality or printed product quality, respectively, this measure is at least partially reversed.
