Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anordnung zur Behandlung einer Papier-, Karton-, Tissue- oder einer anderen Faserstoffbahn in einer Maschine zur Herstellung und/oder Veredlung derselben mit einem endlos umlaufenden Band hoher Biegesteifigkeit, welches eine drehbar gelagerte Regelwalze mit einem Umschlingungswinkel umschlingt, wobei wenigstens ein Ende der Regelwalze zur Einstellung der Bandspannung entlang einer Verstellstrecke verschiebbar gelagert ist, wobei der Umschlingungswinkel zwischen 90 und 180° liegt. Der Umschlingungswinkel entspricht dabei der Differenz zwischen 180° und dem Winkel zwischen dem hinsichtlich der Regelwalze auflaufenden und des ablaufenden Bandes.
