- a leaf spring is provided, which is in engagement with the dial.
- the leaf spring is biased via a kind of backdrop in one or the other direction.
- the leaf spring is in turn provided a Maltese cross, which is rotated over two circumferentially one behind the other with the hour hand rotating pin in each rotation by 180 °.
- This rotational movement causes an adjustment of the gate, whereby the leaf spring is biased.
- this rotational movement of the dial is prevented by a circumferential, provided with an opening ring land in cooperation with a stationary on the dial slide block.
- This sliding block slides along the circumferential annular ridge until it reaches the area of the opening of the annular ridge.
- Upon reaching the breakthrough of the slide block is released and moves from the outside of the ring land inward or reverse bias of the leaf spring from the inside of the ring lands outward. Due to the bias of the leaf spring thus the release of the fixed on the dial plate sliding block and the rotation of the dial from its one angular position is made possible in its second angular position.
- This known device is extremely complicated and is subject to prolonged service life increased wear.
- the necessary bias of the leaf spring and relatively high driving forces of this "adjustment" necessary.
- the invention has for its object to provide a clock, in particular a 24-hour timer with pointer movement, with a simple and low-wear mechanical change indicator that allows the user to read the correct morning and afternoon time.
- a change of the numeric display for example in the "6 o'clock position" between display 6 and 18.
- more than just a display window can be provided, for example in the "3 o'clock position", in the "6 o'clock position” and in the "9 o'clock position”.
- a display change in these areas of the display window between a 3 and 15 o'clock display, a 6 and 18 o'clock display and a 9 and 21 o'clock display is possible by the inventive design of the timer.
- the user receives a so-called AM / PM information, so that he always has certainty when hiring, whether he sets a morning time or an afternoon time. This is a false position or a setting that is offset by 12 hours, almost impossible.
- AM AM
- PM PM
- NM afternoon

Description
The invention relates to a clock with a pointer movement, as well as provided with at least one display window dial.
Many embodiments of watches, in particular mechanical watches, are known from the prior art, which have an hour hand and a minute hand for displaying the current time, which are part of a so-called pointer movement. Such provided with such a Zeigerwerk, also referred to as analog clocks differ from digital watches u.a. in that here a continuous 24-hour display is usually not provided. For normal analog watches, the dial has a 12-hour schedule, so the hour hand rotates twice to display the current time during a day. That is, by changing the daytime and nighttime, for example, at 8 o'clock in the morning and at 8 o'clock in the evening, the same position with respect to the dial is assumed by this hour hand and accordingly also by the minute hand. This change of day and night is usually not a problem for the user, because in most cases it is clear whether it is before 12 noon or after 12 noon. Although the invention described below relates to a special case of a so-called 24-hour timer, but could theoretically in any other clock with pointer movement, so find an analog clock, application.
For 24-hour timers with Zeigerwerke results in the problem, with agreement of the Zeigerwerks, which as described above revolves twice per day with his hour hand that depending on the time at which the clock and also certain switching times are to be set, the operator does not always know exactly whether he is in morning or afternoon mode. It has been found that, especially when commissioning such 24-hour timers, in which on a support ring in 24-hour rotation circulating switching elements are arranged, often made the mistake that, for example, the hand movement is set to 10 clock in the morning, while the indexing disc itself is at 22 o'clock with its switching elements. This difference is often not immediately apparent to the operator, so that it often comes to these incorrect settings of the 24-hour clock. By such a misadjustment of this 24-hour timer, however, incorrect switching times are set, so that a timer, for example, just instead of 10 o'clock in the morning at 22 o'clock in the evening a switching operation.
That is, by such an incorrect setting of the timepiece over the movement of its hands, the timings are incorrectly set off by 12 hours and, accordingly, the switching functions are also performed offset by 12 hours. The operator believes, however, that the movement of the timer indicates the supposedly correct time.
Accordingly, the invention has for its object to provide a clock, in particular a 24-hour timer with pointer movement, with a simple and low-wear mechanical change indicator that allows the user to read the correct morning and afternoon time.
The object is achieved by the feature combination of
Due to the inventive design of the 24-hour timer, it is possible, at least in a display window, a change of the numeric display, for example in the "6 o'clock position" between
By this embodiment of the invention, the user receives a so-called AM / PM information, so that he always has certainty when hiring, whether he sets a morning time or an afternoon time. This is a false position or a setting that is offset by 12 hours, almost impossible. Instead of such number information, for example, letter information such as AM, PM or NM (afternoon) or VM (morning) may also be displayed in the display window.
According to the invention thus has the clock (timer) at least one display window, below which a rotatable adjusting disc is provided. This adjusting disk, for its part, again has various information areas, which can be labeled, for example, with the indicated times. This control dial can be further adjusted to these different information areas. For this purpose, a Maltese cross is used according to the invention, which is rotated by one or more rotating adjusting pins at each revolution of the respective adjusting pin by 90 °. If only one setting pin is used here, it will move evenly or uniformly with the hour hand so that the display always changes at 12 noon and at 12 noon at night.
It is provided that the Maltese Cross drives an eccentrically arranged to a rotation axis actuator, which is in operative connection with the adjusting disc. The adjusting disk is thereby rotated by the actuator by a predetermined angle of rotation, which is adapted to the circumferential width of the adjacent information areas of the adjusting disc. Due to the eccentric arrangement of the actuator thus the adjusting disc is moved back and forth between at least two positions, so that two adjacent information areas are visible through the display window outwardly visible in succession.
By this mechanical drive of the adjusting disk via the actuator only small actuating forces are required, so that even after prolonged operation no increased wear can occur. Also, the driving forces for the Maltese cross and the adjusting disc are extremely low.
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention can be taken from the further subclaims.

In the vicinity of this
Furthermore, this
