Description
The invention relates to a device for melt spinning a row-shaped filament bundle according to the preamble of
For the production of nonwovens, it is known that a plurality of fine filament strands or finite fibers are extruded in a row-like arrangement. For this elongated spinnerets are used, which are held in a heated spinning beam. The spinnerets have on their underside a nozzle plate in which a plurality of nozzle bores for extruding the filament strands are contained. Although a modular distribution of the spinneret pack can be achieved by joining a plurality of groups of filament strands large production widths in nonwoven production, but with the disadvantage that occur on the extruded groups of filament strands melt differences, resulting in the physical properties of the extruded groups of filament strands can have different effects. In that regard, a production of a uniform filament share over the entire production width of a nonwoven is not guaranteed.
It is therefore an object of the invention to develop a device for melt spinning a row-shaped filament bundle of the generic type such that the filament for large production widths with substantially the same physical properties are extrudable.
Another object of the invention is to design a device of the type mentioned in such a way that a residence time of the melt which is as constant as possible is achieved when extruding a row-shaped filament bundle.
This object is achieved in that the inlet plate in the longitudinal direction of the spinner has a plurality of spaced apart adjacent inlet channels and that in the longitudinal direction of the spinner more several side by side arranged distribution chambers are formed, wherein the inlet channels each open into one of the distribution chambers.
Advantageous developments of the invention are defined by the features and feature combinations of the respective subclaims.
The invention has the particular advantage that the melt within the nozzle package must travel through relatively short distances in order to be distributed to the nozzle bores. In that regard, a constant residence time of the melt within the spinneret can be achieved even with very large production widths with correspondingly diverse filament shares. Depending on the size and the number of distribution chambers, a transverse distribution of the melt within the spinneret package is limited to a permissible level.
It is particularly advantageous for melt-spinning a uniform filament bundle if the nozzle bores in the nozzle plate are preceded by a collecting space which is connected to the distribution chambers. Thus, immediately before the extrusion of the melt, equalization occurs between the melt streams discharged through the distribution chambers. The entire filament bundle can thus be extruded under the same conditions from the polymer melt provided, in particular under the same pressure conditions, through the nozzle bores.
In order to distribute the polymer melt uniformly within the spinneret pack and to feed the row-shaped nozzle bores, a perforated plate with a plurality of bores between the inlet plate and the nozzle plate is arranged according to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, wherein the holes are arranged in the perforated plate to a plurality of hole groups each of the hole groups are assigned to the distribution chambers opposite to the inlet channels. This allows a distribution of the melt within the spinneret pack adapted to the arrangement of the nozzle bore to reach. In addition, can be caused by the size and arrangement of the holes within the perforated plate increases pressure, which improve the extrusion process.
It is advantageous if the collecting space is formed between the perforated plate and the nozzle plate, so that the holes of the hole groups can open together into the collecting space.
In order to achieve a separation between the individual distribution chambers, the development of the invention is preferably carried out in which the perforated plate on an inlet plate facing top each between the hole groups has a divider and the distribution chambers are formed in the bottom of the inlet plate between the dividers. In addition, a high stability within the spinneret package can be achieved even with larger production widths.
The embodiment of the device according to the invention, in which the holes in the region of the separating webs penetrate the perforated plate in such an oblique manner, so that there is a uniform distribution of holes over the surface of the perforated plate on the opposite underside of the perforated plate, has the particular advantage that, despite separation of the distribution chamber, an overflow the entire production width uniform distribution of the melt is achieved in particular in the adjacent collecting space.
For filtering the polymer melt of the spinneret package, it is proposed to assign one of a plurality of filter elements to the distribution chambers opposite the inlet channels, so that the filter elements each form an outlet of the filter chamber and at the same time lead to a filtration of the melt. For this purpose, the filter elements are preferably assigned to the top of the perforated plate in the hole groups, so that a simple handling is possible.
In order to be able to press the polymer melt through the nozzle bores of the nozzle plate with as constant a pressure as possible, a plurality of spin pumps, which are supplied via a melt source, are assigned to the inlet channels in the inlet plate. In this case, an inlet channel or a group of inlet channels can each be assigned to a spinning pump.
In order to achieve the same retention times possible when feeding the polymer melt from the melt source to the spinning pumps, a pipe distribution system with several branching points is connected between the melt source and the spinning pumps.
In the production of nonwovens, it is possible to produce the individual filaments of the filament bundle from two or more melt components, for example as a core-sheath fiber. In such cases, the development of the invention is preferably used, in which the inlet channels are divided into two groups, each associated with two groups of distribution chambers. In this case, a first group of distribution chambers interacts with a first perforated plate and a second group of distribution chambers with a second perforated plate, each having a plurality of groups of holes. The melt streams of the distribution chambers and perforated plates, which are guided separately within the spinneret pack, can now be fed to the nozzle bores in the dividing system, for example a distribution plate.
In these cases, the groups of inlet channels in the inlet plate are connected to at least two melt sources, the inlet channels each being fed by a spin pump.
The development of the invention, in which the spinneret package within the spinning beam has a length such that the filament bundle can be produced uniformly over a width of> 5 m to form a nonwoven fabric, can be produced advantageous to achieve large production widths and thus high productivity in the production of nonwovens.
In order to obtain a sufficiently uniform residence time for the guidance of the melt within the spinneret package at very large production widths, the distribution chambers are preferably formed according to the embodiment of the invention, so that they have within the Spinndüsenpaketes a maximum length of <700mm, preferably <500mm. Thus, the extended in the longitudinal direction of the spinneret melt distribution are limited in the supply of the melt.
However, it is also possible within the spinneret according to an embodiment of the invention, a plurality of spinneret packages in a row to assemble a spinning length such that the filament bundle over a width of> 5m to form a web is merge. This enables production widths of more than 10 m for nonwoven production.
The device according to the invention is preferably used to produce spunbonded nonwovens from a filament bundle. However, it is also possible to extrude nonwoven fabrics according to the invention using the so-called melt-blown principle. In these cases, the spinneret pack is combined with a blower nozzle on the outlet side.
