Claims (16)

  1. An electrical connector, comprising
    a first connection device (10) with a first connection (18) for a first electrical cable and
    a second connection device (12) with a second connection (20, 22) for a second electrical cable,
    the two connection devices being able to be plugged into one another to form an electrical contact,
    the second connection device comprising
    a first component (14) for contacting the first connection device by plugging into one another,
    a second component (16) that comprises the second connection, and
    a coupling device (30) for electrically coupling the first component to the second component,
    the two components being moveable relative to one another in a radial and/or axial direction,
    a first limiting device (24, 25) being provided for limiting the relative movement of the two components (14, 16) to a first predetermined distance d in the radial direction, and
    a second limiting device (30) being provided for limiting the relative movement of the two components (14, 16) to a second predetermined distance s in the axial direction.
  2. The connector according to Claim 1, characterised in that the first predetermined distance is in the range of 0.1 mm ≤ d ≤ 0.5 mm, preferably 0.2 mm ≤ d ≤ 0.4 mm.
  3. The connector according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the second predetermined distance is in the range of 0.15 mm ≤ s ≤ 0.45 mm, preferably 0.2 mm ≤ s ≤ 0.4 mm, more preferably 0.2 mm ≤ s ≤ 0.35 mm.
  4. The connector according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the second limiting device (30) is fastened to the first and to the second component (14, 16) and can be deformed.
  5. The connector according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the second limiting device (30) is at least partially strip-like.
  6. The connector according to any of the preceding claims, characterised by a space (42) within the first and/or the second component (14, 16) for at least partially accommodating the second limiting device (30) in the case of compression.
  7. The connector according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the second limiting device (30) is electrically conductive.
  8. The connector according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the second limiting device (30) coincides with the coupling device (30).
  9. The connector according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the coupling device (30) lies at least partially within the first and/or the second component (14, 16).
  10. The connector according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the first component (14) comprises a first stop (26) against which the second component (16) strikes with a second stop (28) if there is an axial displacement of the second component relative to the first connection device (10).
  11. The connector according to Claim 10, characterised in that the first and/or the second stop (26, 28) is/are activated.
  12. The connector according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the first limiting device comprises an extension (24) lying transversely to the radial direction on the first or the second component (14, 16), which extension engages in a recess (25) on the second or the first component with play.
  13. The connector according to Claim 12, characterised in that the second limiting device (30) prevents the extension (24) from leaving the first recess (25).
  14. The connector according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the first connection device (10) is a socket and the second connection device (12) is a plug that fits into the socket.
  15. A connection device (10, 12) for a connector according to any of the preceding claims.
  16. The connection device (12) according to Claim 15, characterised in that it is a plug.
