Zur rationellen Fensterherstellung wäre es indessen sinnvoll, wenn die benötigten Profile und der daraus zusammenzusetzende Flügel senkrecht gehalten und von Arbeitsstation zu Arbeitsstation bewegt werden könnten. Hierzu ist es aber notwendig, die Armierung im Profil zu fixieren, da diese sonst unten herausfallen würde. Wie sich bei praktischen Versuchen gezeigt hat, treten dabei jedoch mehrere Probleme auf. Das ist aber kaum möglich, solange die Glashalteleiste noch mit dem Flügel-Profil verbunden ist.
