Definitions
- the invention relates to a retractable ground recessed luminaire for installation in a non-undercut cylindrical cavity.
- Traversable or roll-over ground lights have been known for a long time.
- Such recessed floor lights can be installed in lawns, beds, but also in paved areas and serve as spotlights for illuminating facades, as orientation lights, for example, taxiway lighting at airports, or for the illumination of parking lots, garage entrances and the like.
- recessed floor luminaires for fixed surfaces usually have a mounting housing which is fixed to the ground or on a foundation, for example screwed. Subsequently, the flooring is manufactured, so that the installation housing is enclosed by the floor covering and their upper edges are at the same level. For example, it is possible to cast a concrete slab around the installation housing.
- a floor covering can also consist of laid floor panels, such as natural or artificial stone. If the edge dimension of the plates used is greater than the diameter of the installation housing, it has proven to be expedient to introduce core holes into the plates, so that the installation housing can protrude through the laid plates. After completion of the floor covering, the recessed ground light is mounted in the installation housing.
- the upper edges of the installation housing and bottom plate must be at the same level. If the upper edge of the installation housing, for example, higher than that of the bottom plate, the later used light will protrude significantly from the bottom plate. Furthermore, when mounting the installation housing on the foundation, it must be ensured that the installation housing is in the grid of the panels, otherwise the panels can not be laid later.
- the invention provides that the ground light has a projecting into the cavity lamp housing, which is fastened with at least one slidably disposed wedge-shaped terminal block and at least one, arranged on the lamp housing projection in the cavity, the at least one clamping block on a reinforced slide on the lamp housing is guided, wherein the tip of the wedge-shaped clamping block pointing to the bottom surface and the distance between the reinforced slideway and an opposite wall portion of the cavity at the bottom surface facing upper end of the lamp housing is smaller than the distance between the reinforced slideway and the opposite wall portion of the Cavity at the bottom surface facing away from the bottom surface of the lamp housing, the clamping block in a mounting position adjacent to the lower end of the lamp housing and in an assembled position adjacent to the upper end of the lamp housing is arranged, so that the clamping block is frictionally connected in the mounted position with the wall of the cavity.
- This luminaire has a conical luminaire housing which extends into the wall niche and has an annular fastening element with a hook.
- a projection or an undercut is provided in the wall niche.
- the hook of the fastener engages behind the projection in the wall niche.
- On the opposite side of the projection of the lamp housing a wedge with two arms and a rotatably mounted in the arms bolt is provided.
- the bolt has an internal thread through which a screw is passed. About this screw, the bolt and thus the wedge, in the longitudinal direction of the housing are moved. Furthermore, the wedge can be rotated by 90 ° about the bolt, whereby the thickness of the wedge is changed.
- the wedge clamps the luminaire housing in the niche or behind the projection. Since the niche must have a projection, in this case, the construction of the niche is complicated. In addition, the installation of the lamp housing is difficult because the hook must be brought into engagement with the projection.
- the luminaire has a housing, whose side walls extend into the wall opening, and on which anchoring elements are provided.
- Each of the anchoring elements has a stop flank, which engages in or behind the wall and holds the lamp in the wall opening or behind the thin wall. Since this luminaire is a recessed wall luminaire, it is not exposed to great stress.
- the anchoring elements are therefore designed as triangular plates.
- clamping devices for mounting lights in walls or ceilings are from the DE 197 13 818 A1 .
- the US 2006/0256567 A1 describes a device for attaching a light unit to an automobile headlight.
- the present invention refers to a retractable ground light.
- at least one wedge-shaped clamping block it is also possible to absorb large loads that occur when driving over the ground recessed luminaire with a vehicle.
- the ground recessed luminaire is fastened in the baseplate only by clamping the terminal block with the luminaire housing and the wall of the cavity, no positive connection is necessary.
- the cavity in the bottom plate must therefore have no projections or undercuts and can be relatively easily manufactured.
- the undercut-free cylindrical cavity may be a core bore. This can be carried out very easily and even subsequently performed in existing floor panels.
- the at least one projection is also designed as a slidably arranged clamping block and guided on a reinforced slideway.
- the use of two sliding clamps allows easier and better positioning of the recessed luminaire in the cavity.
- the recessed floor luminaire on three uniformly distributed over the circumference of the lamp housing, slidably mounted, guided on reinforced sliders clamping blocks to secure the lamp housing in the cavity. In this way, the lamp housing can be even easier and better positioned and clamped in the cavity.
- a variant provides that the coefficient of friction between a reinforced slideway and a clamping block is smaller than the coefficient of friction between a clamping block and the wall of the cavity.
- the luminaire housing has a peripheral flange at its upper edge.
- the at least one clamping block has a thread and is displaceable over a threaded rod along the reinforced slide track. By turning the threaded rod guided through the thread of the clamping block, it is possible to move the clamping block easily.
- the clamping block can be positioned very accurately and it can be applied a large force to jam the lamp housing in the cavity.
- a further embodiment provides that the threaded rod extends parallel to the reinforced slideway. When moving the clamping block, the force is thereby applied parallel to the slide, whereby a good sliding of the clamping block on the slide is made possible.
- two spaced-apart guides are provided for the threaded rod.
- the lower guide forms a stop for the clamping block. This avoids that the clamping block detaches from the threaded rod, if it is turned too far, and falls into the cavity.
- the at least one reinforced slideway is integrated into the luminaire housing. In this way, a simple production of the lamp housing is possible. It can also be provided to reinforce the entire luminaire housing.
- the at least one reinforced slide track is arranged on the lamp housing.
- usually used light housing can be easily upgraded or converted.
- the side wall or the side walls of the lamp housing are inclined, so that the cross section of the lamp housing is smaller at its lower end than at its upper end.
- the reinforced slideways can then run parallel to the housing wall. This is particularly advantageous if the reinforced slideways are integrated into the housing. In addition, a lighter installation or easier insertion of the lamp housing in the cavity is possible.
- the cross section of the lamp housing over the length of the lamp housing is substantially constant and includes at least one reinforced slide an angle with the lamp housing. This makes it easier to set the desired angle of the reinforced slideways.
- the length of the at least one clamping block is greater than the width of the at least one clamping block.
- a cylindrical cavity is characterized good guidance and support of the Clamping stone on the wall of the cavity possible. Due to the relatively long contact surface of the clamping block on the wall of the cavity, a high tilting stability is achieved.
- the clamping block may be a solid body.
- the clamping block may be a solid body.
- the clamping block is a hollow body with reinforced edges. In this way, a material saving is achieved, but the clamping block is still stable, resistant to bending and torsion.
- Fig. 1 shows a section through a retractable ground light 1 in the mounted state.
- the recessed ground luminaire 1 comprises a luminaire housing 2, in which a reflector 3 with a lamp 4 is arranged. Furthermore, the required electrical components are located in the luminaire housing 2.
- the luminaire housing 2 is installed in an undercut-free cavity 5 in the bottom or in the bottom plate 6.
- the base plate 6 may for example be cast from concrete or consist of laid panels of natural or artificial stone. Since the cavity 5 for installation of the lamp housing 2 has no undercuts or projections, it can be easily manufactured. If the luminaire housing 2 of the recessed ground luminaire 1 has a substantially cylindrical shape, then the cavity 5 in the concrete slab 6 can be produced relatively simply by means of a core bore.
- the luminaire housing 2 has at its, the bottom surface 7 facing the end of a flange 8.
- the flange 8 is preferably circumferential and serves as a stop when the lamp housing 2 is inserted into the cavity 5.
- the flange 8 of the lamp housing 2 rests on the bottom surface 7.
- the flange 8 also has a step 9, which projects into the cavity 5.
- This stage 9 serves as a bearing surface for a sealing ring 10.
- the edge of a glass sheet 11 is received, which is the light exit opening of the Luminaire housing 2 covered.
- the sealing ring 10 and the glass sheet 11 are fastened via a cover ring 12 to the step 9 of the peripheral edge or flange 8 of the lamp housing 2. This attachment can be done for example with screws 13.
- the recessed ground luminaire 1 has at least one clamping block 14 and at least one projection.
- the clamping block 14 is essentially wedge-shaped and is guided on its rear side 19 on a reinforced slideway 15 arranged on the luminaire housing 2.
- the opposite side 20 of the clamping block 14 is in the mounted state on the wall of the cavity 5 at.
- the clamping block 14 further has an internal thread, in which a threaded rod 16 is arranged. By turning the threaded rod 16, the clamping block 14 can be moved along the reinforced slide track 15.
- the reinforced slideway 15 is inclined, so that the distance between the reinforced slideway 15 and an opposite wall portion of the cavity 5 at the upper surface of the lamp housing 2 facing the bottom surface 7 is smaller than the distance between the reinforced slideway 15 and the opposite wall portion of the wall If the clamping block 14 is in a lower position, ie at the lower end remote from the bottom surface 7 of the reinforced slideway 15, the clamping block 14 is spaced from the opposite wall portion of the Cavity 5 is arranged. The luminaire housing 2 can then be moved in the cavity 5. In an upper position, in which the clamping block 14 is disposed near the upper end of the reinforced slide track 15, the clamping block 14 is frictionally connected to the opposite wall portion of the cavity 5.
- the upper end of the threaded rod 16 is guided articulated in the step 9 in a reduction 17, so that the threaded rod 16 can be easily rotated when the sealing ring 10, the glass sheet 11 and the cover edge 12 are not yet mounted.
- the reinforced slide 15 has a second guide 18 for the threaded rod 16.

But it would also be conceivable that the side wall or the side walls of the lamp housing 2 extend obliquely, so that the cross section of the lamp housing 2 is smaller at its lower end than the cross section of the lamp housing 2 at its upper end.
- the or the clamping blocks 14 are brought into the mounting position. In the mounting position, the clamping blocks 14 are located on the lower end of the slide 15 facing away from the bottom surface 7. The clamping blocks 14 are thus behind the cross section of the shoulder 9 of the lamp housing 2, so that the lamp housing 2 can be easily inserted into the cavity 5 , The sealing ring 10, the glass sheet 11 and the cover ring 12 are not yet mounted on the lamp housing 2, so that the threaded rod (s) 16 are easily accessible and can be rotated.
- the threaded rod (s) 16 are rotated and the or the clamping blocks 14 are moved in the direction of the bottom surface 7. This results in a jamming of the housing 2 in the cavity 5.
- the coefficient of friction between the clamping blocks 14 and the reinforced Slideways 15 smaller than the coefficient of friction between the clamping blocks 14 and the wall of the cavity 5. This ensures that the frictional force between the wall of the cavity 5 and the clamping blocks is greater than the frictional force between the reinforced slideways 15 and the clamping blocks 14.
- the sealing ring 10 are placed with the glass pane 11 inserted therein on the shoulder 9 of the lamp housing 2 and secured with the cover ring 12 in the lamp housing.
- the cover ring 2 By removing the cover ring 2, the glass sheet 11 and the sealing ring 10, a simple replacement of the lamp 4 in the ground light 1 is possible.
- the recessed ground light 1 can absorb high loads.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a retractable ground recessed luminaire for installation in a non-undercut cylindrical cavity.
Traversable or roll-over ground lights have been known for a long time. Such recessed floor lights can be installed in lawns, beds, but also in paved areas and serve as spotlights for illuminating facades, as orientation lights, for example, taxiway lighting at airports, or for the illumination of parking lots, garage entrances and the like.
Conventional recessed floor luminaires for fixed surfaces usually have a mounting housing which is fixed to the ground or on a foundation, for example screwed. Subsequently, the flooring is manufactured, so that the installation housing is enclosed by the floor covering and their upper edges are at the same level. For example, it is possible to cast a concrete slab around the installation housing. However, a floor covering can also consist of laid floor panels, such as natural or artificial stone. If the edge dimension of the plates used is greater than the diameter of the installation housing, it has proven to be expedient to introduce core holes into the plates, so that the installation housing can protrude through the laid plates. After completion of the floor covering, the recessed ground light is mounted in the installation housing.
However, the laying of such a floor covering designed for various reasons extremely expensive. On the one hand, the upper edges of the installation housing and bottom plate must be at the same level.
In recessed floor luminaires of the conventional type just described there is no mechanical connection between the installation housing and the floor covering. lowers the floor covering, for example, due to setting operations, so the lamp can not follow this movement and will then protrude from the floor covering. On the one hand, this can lead to an undesirable risk of tripping, on the other hand, a lamp protruding from the floor covering is excessively heavily loaded when rolling over by vehicles.
It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a retractable ground light, which can be mounted in a simple way in a floor covering, preferably in laid floor panels, is mechanically connected to the floor covering, can absorb high load and preferably also in already mount existing floor coverings.
For this purpose, the invention provides that the ground light has a projecting into the cavity lamp housing, which is fastened with at least one slidably disposed wedge-shaped terminal block and at least one, arranged on the lamp housing projection in the cavity, the at least one clamping block on a reinforced slide on the lamp housing is guided, wherein the tip of the wedge-shaped clamping block pointing to the bottom surface and the distance between the reinforced slideway and an opposite wall portion of the cavity at the bottom surface facing upper end of the lamp housing is smaller than the distance between the reinforced slideway and the opposite wall portion of the Cavity at the bottom surface facing away from the bottom surface of the lamp housing, the clamping block in a mounting position adjacent to the lower end of the lamp housing and in an assembled position adjacent to the upper end of the lamp housing is arranged, so that the clamping block is frictionally connected in the mounted position with the wall of the cavity.

The present invention, however, refers to a retractable ground light. By using at least one wedge-shaped clamping block, it is also possible to absorb large loads that occur when driving over the ground recessed luminaire with a vehicle. As the in-ground luminaire is fixed in the bottom plate, it moves with the bottom plate and therefore does not have to absorb any greater loads than the bottom plate itself. The ground recessed luminaire is fastened in the baseplate only by clamping the terminal block with the luminaire housing and the wall of the cavity, no positive connection is necessary. The cavity in the bottom plate must therefore have no projections or undercuts and can be relatively easily manufactured.
Preferably, the undercut-free cylindrical cavity may be a core bore. This can be carried out very easily and even subsequently performed in existing floor panels.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the at least one projection is also designed as a slidably arranged clamping block and guided on a reinforced slideway. The use of two sliding clamps allows easier and better positioning of the recessed luminaire in the cavity.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, the recessed floor luminaire on three uniformly distributed over the circumference of the lamp housing, slidably mounted, guided on reinforced sliders clamping blocks to secure the lamp housing in the cavity. In this way, the lamp housing can be even easier and better positioned and clamped in the cavity.
A variant provides that the coefficient of friction between a reinforced slideway and a clamping block is smaller than the coefficient of friction between a clamping block and the wall of the cavity. Now, if the lamp is installed in the cavity of the bottom plate, the clamping blocks are moved until they rest against the cavity wall. With a further displacement of the clamping blocks, the position between the clamping blocks and the wall of the cavity remains the same, the lamp housing is pulled further into the cavity.
Conveniently, it is provided that the luminaire housing has a peripheral flange at its upper edge. When installing the lamp in the cavity of this flange serves as a stop, so that the lamp housing is flush with the bottom plate and is not pulled into the cavity.
Furthermore, it can be provided that the at least one clamping block has a thread and is displaceable over a threaded rod along the reinforced slide track. By turning the threaded rod guided through the thread of the clamping block, it is possible to move the clamping block easily. The clamping block can be positioned very accurately and it can be applied a large force to jam the lamp housing in the cavity.
A further embodiment provides that the threaded rod extends parallel to the reinforced slideway. When moving the clamping block, the force is thereby applied parallel to the slide, whereby a good sliding of the clamping block on the slide is made possible.
In an expedient embodiment it is provided that two spaced-apart guides are provided for the threaded rod. As a result, the risk of bending the threaded rod and a tilting of the lamp housing is reduced in a one-sided load of the floor light.
In a preferred variant it is provided that the lower guide forms a stop for the clamping block. This avoids that the clamping block detaches from the threaded rod, if it is turned too far, and falls into the cavity.
Furthermore, it can be provided that the at least one reinforced slideway is integrated into the luminaire housing. In this way, a simple production of the lamp housing is possible. It can also be provided to reinforce the entire luminaire housing.
In a variant, it is provided that the at least one reinforced slide track is arranged on the lamp housing. As a result, usually used light housing can be easily upgraded or converted. It is also easily possible to produce the at least one reinforced slideway of a different material than the luminaire housing.
In a further embodiment it is provided that the side wall or the side walls of the lamp housing are inclined, so that the cross section of the lamp housing is smaller at its lower end than at its upper end. The reinforced slideways can then run parallel to the housing wall. This is particularly advantageous if the reinforced slideways are integrated into the housing. In addition, a lighter installation or easier insertion of the lamp housing in the cavity is possible.
But it can also be provided that the cross section of the lamp housing over the length of the lamp housing is substantially constant and includes at least one reinforced slide an angle with the lamp housing. This makes it easier to set the desired angle of the reinforced slideways.
Yet another embodiment provides that the length of the at least one clamping block is greater than the width of the at least one clamping block. Especially with a cylindrical cavity is characterized good guidance and support of the Clamping stone on the wall of the cavity possible. Due to the relatively long contact surface of the clamping block on the wall of the cavity, a high tilting stability is achieved.
Preferably, the clamping block may be a solid body. As a result, a good absorption of loads occurring in drive-over floor lights is possible.
But it can also be provided that the clamping block is a hollow body with reinforced edges. In this way, a material saving is achieved, but the clamping block is still stable, resistant to bending and torsion.

The
The
In order to fix the
The upper end of the threaded

In the following, the installation of a recessed
