Claims (9)

  1. Kanalabdeckung, welche eine zentrale Achse (X-X) definiert und aufweist
    - einen Rahmen (4), welcher eine Öffnung (6) begrenzt und mit einem inneren Kragen (8) versehen ist, welcher sich radial nach innen erstreckt,
    - einen Verschluss (10), welcher eine Verschlussabdeckung (12), welche dazu bestimmt ist, die Öffnung (6) zu verschließen, sowie eine zylindrische Schürze (14) aufweist, welche auf der zentralen Achse (X-X) zentriert ist und im Wesentlichen komplementär zum inneren Kragen (8) ist, wobei die Verschlussabdeckung (12) und die Schürze eine konkave Ecke (16) definieren, welche in Bezug auf die zentrale Achse (X-X) radial nach außen gerichtet ist, und
    - eine Hauptdichtung (18),welche an dem inneren Kragen (8) angeordnet ist und zwischen dem Verschluss (10) und dem Rahmen (4) angeordnet ist, wenn der Verschluss (10) in einer Schließstellung ist,
    wobei die Kanalabdeckung (2) eine Hilfsdichtung (20) aufweist, welche wenigstens in einem Geschlossen-Zustand der Abdeckung an der Schürze (14) angeordnet ist und im Kontakt mit der konkaven Ecke (16) steht,
    wobei die Hauptdichtung (18) und die Hilfsdichtung (20) durch zwei verschiedene Stücke gebildet sind,
    gekennzeichnet dadurch, dass
    die Hauptdichtung (18) eine primäre Abdichtung in Bezug auf Oberflächenwasser gewährleistet, welches in den Zwischenraum zwischen Verschluss und Rahmen eindringen kann, und dadurch, dass
    die Hilfsdichtung (20) dazu bestimmt ist, die Abdichtung gegen Oberflächenwasser zu ergänzen.
  2. Abdeckung gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Hilfsdichtung (20) einen ersten Teil (22) aufweist, welcher eine Dichtlippe ausbildet.
  3. Abdeckung gemäß Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der erste Teil (22) eine Torusform hat.
  4. Abdeckung gemäß irgendeinem der Ansprüche 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der erste Teil (22) einen hohlen Querschnitt, insbesondere in Form eines Rings, aufweist.
  5. Abdeckung gemäß irgendeinem der Ansprüche 2 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Hilfsdichtung einen zweiten Teil (24) aufweist, welcher mit dem ersten Teil (22) fest verbunden ist und einen nicht runden Querschnitt aufweist.
  6. Abdeckung gemäß Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der zweite Teil (24) den ersten Teil (22) axial nach innen verlängert und sich über seine gesamte axiale Länge an die Schürze (14) anlegt.
  7. Abdeckung gemäß Anspruch 5 oder 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der zweite Teil (24) der Hilfsdichtung dazu eingerichtet ist, das Gleiten und die Torsion der Hilfsdichtung an der Schürze verhindert.
  8. Abdeckung gemäß irgendeinem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Hauptdichtung (18) und die Hilfsdichtung (20) aus einem elastischen Material, bevorzugt aus dem gleichen elastischen Material, gefertigt sind.
  9. Abdeckung gemäß irgendeinem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Hilfsdichtung (20) dazu eingerichtet ist, beim Schließen des Verschlusses (10) auf dem Rahmen gegen die Hauptdichtung (18) in Anlage kommt.
