Claims (18)

  1. Watch movement having a display mechanism with:
    one or several rotating indicators (12, 15), of which the type of displayed indication can be selected by means of an order organ (34), which is extern of this movement,
    for each of said indicators (12, 15), at least a first cam and at least a second cam (5, 6, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23) arranged to control the angular position of the rotating indicator (12, 15),
    characterized in having selection means (34, 24, 33) for selecting the cam acting on each indicator (12, 15).
  2. The movement of claim 1, wherein the first and the second cam are superposed and mounted coaxial on an axis (17).
  3. The movement one of the preceding claims, said selection means being actuated by means of a push-button or a crown (34) that can be operated by the watch wearer.
  4. The movement of claim 3, said crown actuating a crank-handle (24) or crank-pin for displacing a feeler finger of said cam.
  5. The movement of one of the claims 1 to 4, having:
    several pairs of cams (5-6; 19-19; 20-21; 22-23), including at least a pair of first cams (5-6) and at least a pair of second came (18-19);
    a units indicator (12), and
    a tens indicator (15),
    said means for selecting the cam pair are suitable for determining the angular position of said tens and units indicators at a given instant.
  6. The movement of claim 5, wherein said cam pairs are superimposed.
  7. The movement of claim 6, wherein said cam pairs all turn at the same angular speed.
  8. The movement of one of the claims 1 to 7, having an indicator (36) to indicate on a dial the selected cam or cam pair.
  9. The movement of one of the claims 1 to 8, having selection means for selecting a gear train used for driving on one of said cams.
  10. The movement of one of the claims 5 to 7, having:
    a pair of fingers (3, 4), each associated to one came of said pairs of cams for feeling the external profile of the cam,
    a lever (26, 27) associated to each finger, each lever pivoting around a pivot staff (7, 9) when the corresponding finger moves under the effect of the cam's rotation so as to drive a rack (28, 30),
    wherein the pivot staffs (7, 9) of the different levers are non-coaxial so as to control the amplification of the rotations of said indicators caused by a given tooth height (a, g) on said external profile.
  11. The movement of one of the claims 1 to 4, comprising a pair of first cams (5, 6),
    said indicators comprising a rotating units indicator (12) and a rotating tens indicator (15), said units indicator and said tens indicator displaying together a two-digit number.
  12. The movement of one of the claims 1 to 11, wherein each cam is arranged to made into rotation and in which, when the cam acts on said indicators, he moves the associated indicator through a rack (28) and a pinion (13).
  13. The movement of one of the claims 1 to 7 and 9 to 12, wherein:
    each cam has an external profile with a distance to the center varying along its periphery, and for each of said indicators (12, 15), the display mechanism comprises:

    a pinion (13, 31) is arranged to rotate by said rack (28, 30);
    said indicator (12, 15) is arranged for being driven by said pinion.
  14. The movement of claim 13, said display mechanism being multifunctional,
    each of said indicator being a disc (12, 15) bearing digits (35) designed to be displayed in an aperture (14),
    and wherein said finger (3, 4) can be pressed against the selected cam by acting on a push-button (1).
  15. The movement of claim 11, the cams in the first pair of cams (5, 6) being driven in synchronous fashion, one of the first cams having an external profile having teeth spaced by a first pitch, and the other of said cams having a profile having teeth spaced by a second pitch,
    said second pitch being a multiple by 10 of said first pitch, so as to cause an increment of the tens indicator after ten increments of the units indicator.
  16. The movement of one of the claims 1 to 16, adapted for a wristwatch.
  17. Method for selecting the indication displayed by an indicator (12, 15) of a watch movement, including a step of selecting a cam from among at least a first and a second cam (5, 6, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23) arranged for ordering the angular position of said indicator (12, 15), the selection being performed by means of a control organ (34) external to the watch, the selected cam actuating said indicator.
  18. Watch movement having a display mechanism including
    one or several rotating indicators (12, 15), of which the type of displaying indication can be selected by means of an order organ (34), which is extern of this movement,
    for each of said indicators (12, 15), at least a first cam arranged to control the angular position of the rotating indicator (12, 15),
    characterized in having selection means (34, 24, 33) selecting a gear train between a plurality of gear trains used for determining the position of said cam.
