Claims (13)

  1. Press roll of a machine for producing and/or finishing a paper, board, tissue or other fibrous web, having a rotating cylindrical roll shell (1) which is supported on at least one supporting element of a stationary carrier (9), the running surface of the supporting element that comes into contact with the inside of the roll shell (1) being lubricated with a liquid lubricant and the lubricant being wiped off the inside of the roll shell (1) with the aid of at least one wiping element (2), cooler lubricant being applied to the inside of the roll shell (1) after the wiping element (2) in the direction of rotation of the roll shell (1),
    characterized in that
    the distance between the wiping and the application of the lubricant is between 0.1 and 100 mm, and in that a drain line (4) assigned to the wiping element (2) in order to carry the lubricant away out of the press roll, and a feed line (5) for the lubricant to be applied are connected to the wiping element (2).

    the distance between the wiping off and the application of the lubricant is between 0.2 and 10 mm.

    the wiping element/s (2) extend/s over more than 90% of the length of the roll shell (1).

    the minimum distance between the wiping element (2) and the inside of the roll shell (1) is less than 1 mm.
  8. Press roll according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the wiping element (2) is in contact with the inside of the roll shell (1).
  9. Press roll according to Claim 8,
    characterized in that
    the wiping element is fixed to the carrier such that it can be pressed against the inside of the roll shell (1).
  10. Press roll according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the wiping element (2) has an overflow for leading part of the lubricant onward into the part of the inside of the roll shell (1) that follows in the direction of rotation.
  11. Press roll according to one of Claims 1 to 9,
    characterized in that
    the wiping element (2) has no overflow.
  12. Press roll according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the lubricant carried away is conditioned, in particular filtered and cooled and subsequently recycled.
