Ein Zusatzvorteil ist in der guten Eignung des erfindungsgemäßen Bogenbremsensystems zum Bremsen von berührungsempfindlichen Druckbogen, wie z. B. mattgestrichenen Papierbogen und z. B. Druckbogen mit noch feuchter Farbe auf der dem Bogenbremsensystem zugewandten Bogenunterseite, zu sehen. Aufgrund der vergrößerten Gesamtkontaktfläche kann der Saugluft-Unterdruck, mittels welchem das Bogenbremsensystem den Druckbogen ansaugt, reduziert werden. Dadurch verringert sich die Gefahr von durch das Bogenbremsensystem hervorgerufenen Markierungen auf den Druckbogen. Beispielsweise lässt sich das Bogenbremsensystem einfach und schnell von einem reinen Schöndruckbetriebsmodus auf einen Schön- und Wiederdruckbetriebsmodus umrüsten, wenn das Bogenbremsensystem Bestandteil einer Perfektor-Druckmaschine ist. Das Mehrwegeventil ermöglicht eine alternative Betriebsart, in welcher an dem Modulträger nur ein einziges der Bremsmodule angekoppelt ist. Beim Umrüsten des Bogenbremsensystems von der eingangs genannten Betriebsart auf die alternative Betriebsart wird von dem Modulträger eines der beiden Bremsmodule abgekoppelt und wird mittels des Mehrwegeventils ein am Modulträger für das abgekoppelte Bremsmodul vorgesehener Saugluftanschluss deaktiviert, so dass durch letzteren keine Fehlluft angesaugt wird. Hinsichtlich einer kompakten Bauweise ist es vorteilhaft, wenn das Mehrwegeventil in den Modulträger integriert ist. Claims (11)
- Sheet-braking system (3) for braking print sheets, comprising sheet brakes (5a, 5b, 5c) arranged in a row and including module carriers (8) arranged to be movable relative to each other for carrying braking modules (10, 11) embodied to be couplable to and uncouplable from the module carriers (8),
characterized in
that in one mode of operation, two of the braking modules (10, 11) are coupled to one of the module carriers (8). - Sheet-braking system according to claim 1,
characterized in
that the two braking modules (10, 11) are embodied to be mirror-symmetric to each other. - Sheet-braking system according to claim 1 or 2,

that the two braking modules (10, 11) are coupled to the module carrier (8) on mutually opposing sides of the latter. - Sheet-braking system according to any one of claims 1 to 3,

that the two braking modules (10, 11) are connected to a manifold valve (22) that applies a vacuum to the braking modules (10, 11). - Sheet-braking system according to claim 4,
