Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the technical field of flexible packaging intended for the transport of articles such as, preferably, banknotes.
  • This envelope comprises a welded flexible plastic bag having an access passage to its closed internal volume, closable by a secure closure means such as a secure adhesive tape or a hot melt glue for example.
  • these envelopes are intended to be placed next to each other inside a drawer of a container which is provided with a system for neutralizing articles by smearing in the event of unauthorized opening. of the container.
  • a pyrotechnic system is triggered leading to the dispersion of a smearing product inside the container.
  • the walls of the envelopes are provided with passage holes for the smudge product which thus renders the articles placed inside these envelopes unusable.
  • the document WO 2005/076231 discloses a flexible envelope having a first compartment accessible by an access passage closable by a secure closure means.
  • This first compartment which is intended to receive items such as banknotes, is connected to a second compartment arranged in the flexible envelope.
  • the second compartment is provided with a passage opening of a tube delivering a smearing product contained in a storage tank.
  • the smudge product passes from the second to the first compartment through passage openings arranged at the junction between the two compartments.
  • the smudging product thus remains confined inside the envelope, the manufacture of which requires the production of two compartments separated by passage openings adapted to the passage of the smearing product but preventing access to the articles contained in the first compartment.
  • the present invention therefore aims to overcome the drawbacks stated above by providing a new envelope with a reduced manufacturing cost and total security while being able to be used in a smudging neutralization system.
  • the envelope according to the invention is adapted to contain a series of stacked articles resting by their edge and thus forming a stack of articles, the envelope comprising a flexible plastic bag welded, having a access passage to its closed internal volume, closable by a secure closure means, the bag having a first and second stacking sides extending vis-à-vis the sections of the stack of articles.
  • At least the first stacking side is provided with at least one line of weakening having a resistance force less than a deflagration force so that after a deflagration, the bag opens from this line of weakening, this line of weakening extending over most of at least one dimension of said side so as to ensure, after the explosion, the passage of a smudge product from smearing all the articles stacked.
  • the envelope has a symmetry of embodiment providing total reversibility.
  • the second stacking side of the envelope is also provided with at least one weakening line having a resistance force less than a deflagration force so that, following a deflagration, the bag opens from this weakening line, this weakening line extending over most of at least one dimension of said side so as to ensure, after the blast, the passage of a smearing product coming smear all the stacked items.
  • the first and / or second stacking side extends on either side of a welded edge of the bag, at least one weakening line being arranged on the one and / or or both sides of the welded edge, extending away from said welded edge.
  • each weakening line extends substantially parallel to the adjacent welded edge at a distance of between 3 mm and 30 mm, and over the greater length of this welded edge.
  • At least two lines of weakness are arranged on the first and / or second stacking side, on one and / or the other side of the welded edge, extending substantially parallel to each other and at the welded edge, and at a distance from each other and from the welded edge.
  • each stacking side extends between two welded edges opposite of the bag, at least one line of weakness being arranged between the two welded edges.
  • the first and / or second stacking side has weakening lines extending diagonally and parallel to the two welded edges.
  • each weakening line is formed by pre-cuts.
  • the weakening lines are symmetrically formed on the stacking sides.
  • the first and second stacking sides respectively form inlet sides for a product smear and support on the bottom of a system of neutralization articles by a smear product .
  • the object of the invention relates to a casing 1 for containing articles such as, preferably bank notes and shown schematically by reference numeral 2.
  • the articles 2 are placed next to each other inside of the envelope so as to form a stack 3.
  • This envelope 1 is intended to be placed inside a container 4 adapted to be used in the context of a system for neutralizing articles 2 with the aid of a smearing product.
  • the container 4 is a drawer having a bottom 5 extending opposite an opening 6 from which is distributed a smearing product.
  • the envelope 1 is intended to be placed inside the drawer 4 so that the articles 2 rest by their edge on the bottom 5 of the drawer.
  • the stack 3 of the articles delimits, and by their opposite edges, a support side 8 on the bottom 5 and an opposite side 9 , said arrival of the smearing product and oriented towards the opening 6 of the drawer.
  • the envelope 1 is in a known manner in the form of a bag 11 of flexible plastic material, preferably recyclable such as polyethylene.
  • the bag 11 has a so-called recto face 12 and a so-called reverse side 13 delimited by two opposite transverse edges 14 substantially parallel to each other and two opposite longitudinal edges 15 substantially parallel to each other.
  • the envelope 1 has a generally rectangular shape.
  • the faces 12 and 13 of the bag 11 are made from at least one folded flexible plastic sheet or at least two superimposed flexible plastic sheets, at least some of whose edges are welded so as to delimit a closed internal volume.
  • the two longitudinal edges 15 are welded while one of the transverse edges 14 is welded, the other edge being formed by a fold.
  • the closed internal volume of the bag 11 is accessible through an access passage 16.
  • the access passage 16 is constituted by means of a slot arranged in the front face 12 between the two longitudinal edges. 15 and near a transverse edge 14.
  • a secure closure means 17 such as a security adhesive tape constituting a tamper evidence.
  • Such secure closure means 17 may consist of a flap provided with adhesive with a protection.
  • the envelope 1 is intended to contain a stack 3 of articles 2 intended to rest by their edge on a support such as the bottom 5 of the drawer 4.
  • the bag 11 has a first 21 and a second 22 sides stack opposite each other and opposite or facing the sides 8, 9 of the stack 3.
  • the first 21 and second 22 stacking sides extend in facing relation respectively to the arrival side 9 of the smearing product and to the support side 8 of the stack 3.
  • the first stacking side 21 is the upper part of the casing located substantially opposite the opening 6 of the drawer 4 while the second stacking side 22 corresponds to the lower part of the package located substantially vis-à-vis the bottom 5 of the drawer.
  • At least the first stacking side 21 of the envelope is provided with at least one weakening line 30 having a resistance force less than a deflagration force so that, following a deflagration, the bag opens from this line of weakness 30 which thus constitutes a tear initiation.
  • this line of weakness 30 is designed not to weaken the mechanical strength of the envelope during handling operations, filling and handling.
  • this weakening line 30 extends over most of at least one dimension of said stacking side 21 so as to ensure, after the blast, the passage of a product of smearing staining all the stacked articles 2. It must be considered that in case of attempted fraudulent access to the container 4, the associated pyrotechnic system is triggered leading to a blast whose blast leads to the appearance of a deflagration force causing the opening of the bag 11 along the line of weakness 30. The pyrotechnic system also causes the emission of a smearing product is distributed from the opening 6 of the drawer. Such a smearing product is therefore able to penetrate the inside of the envelope from the opening of the bag 11 extending along the line of weakness 30.
  • Each side of stack 21, 22 extends on either side of a welded longitudinal edge 15.
  • a weakening line 30 is arranged on either side of the welded longitudinal edge 15 extending away from said welded edge.
  • the weakening line 30 is located at a distance from the adjacent welded longitudinal edge 15 of between 3 mm and 30 mm and for example of the order of 6 mm.
  • the first stacking side 21 is thus provided with two weakening lines 30.
  • the first stacking side 21 is provided with one or more lines of weakness 30 distributed on the surface of this side so as to obtain a smear of all the items 2.
  • Each weakening line 30 extends over substantially the entire length of the stack 3.
  • the lines of weakening 30 are evenly distributed along the width of the stack 3, being arranged on either side of the welded edge In order to allow the smudging of all the products 2.
  • the weakening lines 30 can be arranged perpendicular to the welded edge 15 and distributed over the entire length of the stacking side 21.
  • the first side of stack 21 of the envelope may be provided with two weakening lines provided on one and / or the other side of the welded longitudinal edge 15 adjacent and extending parallel to each other and the edge welded and spaced from each other and the welded edge 15.
  • the first stacking side 21 is thus provided with four lines of weakness 30.
  • the first stacking side 21 can be provided with a different number of weakening lines 30.
  • the width of the stacking sides 21, 22 depends on the width of the stack 3 and consequently the number of stacked articles 2 .
  • the first 21 or second stacking side 22 corresponds to a more or less large part of the front faces 12 and back 13 extending from a longitudinal edge 15.
  • each line of weakness 30 extends in a substantially rectilinear direction parallel to the longitudinal welded edge 15.
  • each line of weakness 30 is not rectilinear.
  • each line of weakness 30 may consist of one or more curved segments.
  • the weakening lines 30 can be arranged in the front face 12, between the secure closure means 17 and the transverse edge 14 the farthest as illustrated in FIG. figure 2 .
  • the reverse side 13 may comprise weakening lines 30 arranged symmetrically with respect to those of the front face 12.
  • the weakening lines 30 arranged in the reverse side 13 which does not include the secure closing means 17, can extend between the two transverse edges 14 as illustrated in FIG. figure 3 .
  • the weakening line or lines 30 provided on the front face 12 may be extended between the secured closing means 17 and the closest transverse edge 14 , as can be seen from the central packaging illustrated in FIG. figure 1 .
  • each line of weakness 30 is formed by pre-cuts made in the faces of the envelope mechanically or by laser. It is clear that the number of weakening lines and their distribution on the first stacking side 21 depends on the dimensions of this side and consequently on the format of the envelope.
  • the second stacking side 22 of the envelope is also provided with at least one line of weakening 30 having a resistance force less than a deflagration force so that following a deflagration, the bag 11 opens from this line of weakness.
  • this line of weakness which extends over most of at least one dimension of the underside, allows the passage of the smudge product from smearing all the stacked articles.
  • the second stacking side 22 of the package is provided with one or more lines of weakness 30 as explained above for the first Stacking side 21.
  • stacking sides 21, 22 preferably have the same number and organization of lines of weakness 30 .
  • the weakening lines 30 are symmetrically formed on both stacking sides 21, 22.
  • Such an envelope 1 can be placed indifferently, by its first 21 or second stacking side 22, on the bottom 5 of the container in view of its symmetrical embodiment of these stacking sides 21, 22.
  • the weakening lines 30 of the stacking side which is resting on the bottom 5, namely the second side 22 in the illustrated example, contribute to the smearing of the articles 2 by possibly tearing, soaking and / or by capillarity.
  • the excess staining product is retained by the bottom of the drawer on which the stacking side 22 of the envelope is in contact.
  • each stacking side 21, 22 corresponds to the major part of the respectively front face 12 and back 13 of the envelope.
  • Each stacking side 21, 22 thus extends between the two opposite transverse edges 14 and the longitudinal edges 15.
  • one and preferably each stacking side 21, 22 comprises a series of lines of weakness 30.
  • each side of stack 21 and 22 comprises two weakening lines 30 extending diagonally 30 and a median line of weakness extending parallel to the longitudinal edges welded 15.
  • the lines of weakness 30 are made diagonally batchwise outside the central portion of the face of the envelope.
  • the median weakening line 30 can also be arranged discontinuously to extend outside the central portion of the face of the envelope.
  • the articles 2 extend substantially parallel to the transverse edges 14 in contrast to the embodiment shown in FIG. figure 3 where the articles 2 extend substantially parallel to the longitudinal edges 15. It should be noted that it can it is expected that the stacking sides 21, 22 extend on either side of the transverse sides 14 or between the two longitudinal sides 15.
  • the casing 1 may be provided with propulsion means in a pneumatic conveying network.
  • the casing 1 may be provided, for example, with one or more fins or a bottom bellows or any other means of propulsion.
  • these propulsion means may be provided with lines of weakness 30 as described above.
  • the envelope 1 can thus transport articles 2 inside a pneumatic network. It should be noted that the envelopes 1 as described above can be placed in a collection envelope which is itself provided with lines of weakness 30 as described above.
