These fibreboards are provided on the surfaces with paper, which is printed with the desired decor. Then these fiberboard are sealed. The production of such fiberboard can be done in the cycle or in the continuous process.

In order to increase the number of fiberboards provided with a surface finish per unit of time, is subsequently in the DE 195 32 819 A1 explains a method according to which no printed papers are applied to the fiberboard more, but the fibreboard prepared directly for printing and then provided in a printing machine with a Oberflächendekor.

Also the DE 20 2004 018 194 U1 deals with the direct printing of large format plates made of a wood material in a printing machine. It is explained in this document that the printing press must be controlled so that the front plate edge of a large format plate always runs at the same point in the press to avoid misalignment of the printed image. For this purpose, the incoming large format plate is guided on a fixed edge, so that a reference edge for further processing is available.

In the DE 10 2004 011 229 A1 An apparatus and a method for printing on plates is described in which the plates are moved in the feed direction and printed with a first application roller with a reference print image. Subsequently, the length of the entire reference print image or a part thereof is measured and the contact pressure of the at least one subsequent applicator roll and / or a relative movement between the plate and the applicator roll and / or the applicator roll and the gravure roll, based on the measured length, to produce a printed image in one desired length controlled. To generate an exact print image while the height of the applicator roll and / or a counter-pressure roller is changed accordingly. With this method, a high printing accuracy can be achieved.

Subject of the DE 103 33 626 A1 is a device for printing on flat workpieces. As seen in the transport direction of the workpiece, a detection device for detecting the position of a workpiece leading edge or a starting image mark is present in front of the printing nip, with the latter thus being provided with the transport device and / or a printing cylinder is formed cooperatively, that the transport of the workpiece accelerated or decelerated before reaching the nip and / or the angular position of the printing cylinder by accelerating or decelerating the rotational movement can be changed to the beginning of the printed image with the workpiece front edge or the intended repeat position in accordance bring. Also in this device, the print image is to be positioned more accurately.

A wood fiber board, in particular a floor panel, is used in the DE 102 52 863 A1 described. It is an HDF support plate are used with a top and a bottom, the top has a decor, preferably a wood or tile decor. The decor is printed directly on the top of the carrier plate and covered with at least one layer of a transparent synthetic resin. From the wood fiber board floor panels can be sawed.

Subject of the EP 1 541 373 A2 is a process for the production of panels with decorative surfaces, whereby the surfaces are printed with different decors. Each decorative section has a beginning and an end, with the end of a decorative section matching the beginning of the subsequent decorative section. This creates the impression of a continuous continuous decoration.

Although the direct printing of large format boards made of a wood-based material has proved successful, however, it adheres to the peculiarity that the large format plates emerging from a printing press have a comparatively uniform surface character. Thus, one can only ever separate a certain number of panels from a large format plate whose surface decors repeat from large format plate to large format plate. The separated panels differ only slightly from each other.

From the GB 1 260 250 A For example, a method and apparatus for producing irregularly repeating patterns on surfaces is known. It is proposed the relative speed between a pressure roller and to vary the plate to be printed to compress or stretch the printed image. This method inevitably leads to increased wear on the pressure roller, which is considered disadvantageous.

The invention is - based on the prior art - the object of the invention to provide a method for producing printed surface decor on panels as components of floor, wall or ceiling coverings and a printing machine for performing the method, which has a greater variety of ultimately To ensure the individual panels existing surface decor.

The solution of the procedural part of this task is seen in the features specified in claim 1.

Core idea of the invention is a targeted variable supply of large format plates to the printing press. Since the pressure roller is mounted axially immovable in the printing press, each new large format plate is now introduced with respect to the upstream in the printing press large format plate in the longitudinal direction at a distance and / or transversely offset by a certain amount in the printing press.

For example, it is conceivable that a first large format plate with its left longitudinal side on a first stop, the following large format plate with its right longitudinal side on a second stop and a third large format plate in a position between these two adjustable stops are guided by the printing press. Due to the transverse offset, the large format plates pass the pressure roller in different lengths. This situation then becomes apparent after the separation of the large format panels in panels, which usually takes place in the continuous process, and their subsequent marginal groove / tongue profiling in a larger number of different surface decors on the panels. The attractiveness of a floor, a wall or a ceiling, which are designed from such panels can be significantly increased in this way.

The incoming large format plates in the printing machine can be offset from each other but also in the longitudinal direction at a distance from each other. As a result, the large format plates in the printing press, in turn, receive other surface decorations, with the result that the diversity of the surface decorations on the panels that have ultimately been removed is increased again.

Another way to increase the variety of decor is to guide the large format plates both longitudinally spaced from each other and offset in the transverse direction by the printing press.

The offset in the longitudinal direction and / or transverse direction is defined, that is controlled and not random. It is previously determined which print image the individual panels should have. The size of the offset in the longitudinal or transverse direction is set manually, although it is quite conceivable that using a computer program, a larger number of records is generated, each record contains a value for the longitudinal offset and the lateral offset and this data to control the Plant to be used. Using these records can ensure that a decor does not repeat identically. By appropriate parameterization of the mathematical model, it is even possible to set a corresponding degree of deviation to ensure that the lateral or longitudinal offset provided has a certain minimum size to avoid very similar decorations.

The method according to the invention can be applied to plates of any kind to be printed, e.g. in the case of plates of a compacted fiber material or of plastic.

An advantageous embodiment of the method according to the invention in a so-called multi-bar pressure according to the features of claim 2 is that the immediately introduced without spacing or at a distance from each other in the printing machine large format plates are offset transversely by the width of at least one rod. This also allows the diversity of Oberflächendekors be increased again.

There is no restriction on a single-rod or any multi-bar decor with regard to the printed image. In principle, it is possible to produce in this way any photorealistic image of a surface that gains its realistic impression only through the variability of the individual decors. This is typically the case with wood decors. Basically, however, the overall impression of, for example, a cork floor decor or a wooden floor decor can be improved if the individual plates do not all have the same print image, but differ from each other. Especially when the decors are very concise, as in rustic, heavily grained and / or aged wood decors, it is important to avoid repetition in the appearance of the printed floor.

The variety of decor on the ultimately finished panels can also be made even more attractive that according to claim 3 in free choice, for example. every second, third or even fourth printed large format plate is rotated by 180 ° in its horizontal plane prior to separation into panels, so that the groove / tongue profiling is worked out in reverse at a part of the panels.

The solution of the objective part of the task is characterized according to claim 4, characterized in that transversely adjustable and fixable stops are provided for the large format plates.

Furthermore, it is conceivable in this context, even the distance from each other in the printing machine introduced large format plates - possibly variable - to program. This can be done in addition to the adjustable stops or separately from these. The variation of the distance in the longitudinal direction can also be expressed as time-delayed insertion of the large format plates into the printing machine.

The panels produced by the method according to the invention have a wear-resistant surface, that is to say in particular an abrasion resistance greater than AC1 according to the standard EN 13329: 2000. It is too conceivable that in the printing machine, a surface structure is created in adaptation to the decor.

With 1 is in the FIGS. 1 and 2 in the diagram denotes a printing press in which large format plates prepared by printing technology 2 are printed on a surface 3 with a decoration 4. In the embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 2 is the surface decoration 4 lifelike wood imitations in the manner of a three-tone pattern, which in the Fig. 2 can be seen in a leaked from the printing press 1 large format plate 2.

In the context of the exemplary embodiments, large format plates 2 are understood to mean those having a width B of usually> 1.25 m, preferably> 2 m, and a length L of 2.60 m to 5.20 m. However, these dimensions may vary and serve only to illustrate the approximate dimensions of large format plates.

In the printing machine 1 is a rotating about a horizontal axis 5 pressure roller 6, the surface 7 is provided with the desired for the large format plates 2 decor. With this pressure roller 6, a first hue is applied, with further pressure rollers, with which more shades can be applied, are not shown, since the principle of the invention can be explained in detail with reference to a pressure roller. In the field of printing press 1 transversely displaceable stops 8, 9 are arranged, whose maximum distance A is greater than the width B of a large format plate 2 is dimensioned. The Querverlagerbarkeit the stops 8, 9 is illustrated by the arrows Pf. The stops 8, 9 make it possible to supply a large format plate 2 either on the left first stop 8 or on the right, second stop 9 in its illustrated end positions or in any intermediate position over and the pressure roller 6. In this way, the surfaces to be printed 3 of the large format plates 2 receive different surface decor 4, whereby the ultimately separated from the large format panels 2 panels - in the FIG. 2 indicated by dash-dotted lines - have a greater number of different surface decorations. The attractiveness of such a panel 10 occupied floor, wall or ceiling surface is larger because the uniformity is offset by the variety of different surface decor.

The FIG. 1 also shows as an example that the introduced according to the arrows Pf1 in the printing press 1 large format plates 2 not only directly without spacing but also with distance A1 can follow each other. This distance A1 is also variable. As a result of the variation of the distance A1, the large format plates 2 strike different circumferential regions of the pressure roller 6 at the beginning of the printing process. The large format plates 2 are controlled in a time-delayed manner, that is to say fed at different distances A1 to the pressure roller. Because of this, the variety of decor is again increased.

Furthermore, the leaves FIG. 1 recognize that in the illustrated surface decor 4 in the form of a three-dimensional printing as an embodiment, the transverse displacement of the large format plates 2 relative to each other by at least the width B1 of a rod 11 can be carried out.

In the FIG. 2 is still shown that, for example, every second out of the printing machine 1 leaked large format plate 2 can be rotated in its horizontal plane about its vertical center axis 12 according to the plotted arrow Pf2 by 180 ° before this large format plate 2 then into individual Panels 10 is separated and the panels 10 are then profiled usually marginal. The profiling may be, for example, a glue-free tongue and groove profiling in the manner of a click system. The twisting of a large format plate 2 additionally increases the variety of decor on the ultimately made available to a user panels 10th

In the FIG. 3 is illustrated by four printed large format plates 2a-d, as with a longitudinal and / or transverse displacement of the large format plates 2a-d when inserted into a printing machine 1, the respective surface decoration 4a-d can be changed.

It can be seen due to the broken lines 13 on the large format plates 2a-d that they are to be separated into 16 panels 10 respectively.

The surface decoration 4a of the large format plate 2a in FIG FIG. 3 The identity of the decorative images results from the fact that the large format plate 2a is twice as long as the circumference of the pressure roller 6, that is the Rapport. After separating the large format plate 2a along its median transverse plane MQE, therefore, two identically printed plates are obtained, which are divided along the broken line guides 13 into eight panels 10 each. If, after being separated from the large format plate 2a, the panels 10 are provided with a particularly glue-free tongue / groove profiling on the longitudinal sides 14, 15, there are a total of 8 × 2 panels with eight different surface decorations. If one half of the printed large format plate 2a is now rotated through 180 ° about its central vertical axis, so that the groove / tongue profiling is applied inversely to the other half, it is possible to produce 16 different panels 10 from a single large format plate 2a. The number of 16 panels is arbitrary in this embodiment. However, certain proportions are considered to be appropriate, resulting not least because of the pressure rollers used. Usual are printing rollers with a diameter of about 40 cm, so that the printed image has a length of 1.10 m to 1.40 m in large format plates having a width in a range of 1.25 m to 2.10 m and a length from 2.60 m to 5.20 m. In a typical large format plate with a width of 2.10 m and a panel width of 195 mm ± 10 mm, 10 to 11 different printed individual panels result side by side, which can then be obtained from a single large format plate. With a panel width of 175 mm ± 10 mm, 11 to 12 panels will result in the width, with a panel width of 150 mm ± 10 mm 13 to 15 panels, with a panel width of 130 mm ± 10 mm 15 to 17 panels, with a panel width from 120 mm ± 10 mm 16 to 19 panels and with a panel width of 95 mm ± 10 mm 20 to 24 panels. This information refers to the fact that the individual panels have a length between 1.00 m and 1.35 m. For shorter panels with a length in the range of 0.75 m to 1.00 m, it is possible to double the number of panels printed with a different décor. This means that, for example, with a panel width of 120 mm ± 10 mm, 32 to 38 panels, each with a different decor, can be printed. With a panel width of 95 mm ± 10 mm, there are even 40 to 48 differently printed panels. In addition, if every second printed in this way large format plate is rotated by 180 ° before separating into individual panels, tongue and groove are reversed, so that doubles the number of different decorations by a factor of 2 again. In this way, it is possible to produce a much more attractive floor covering of individual panels, the overall visual impression of which is decisively improved by the variety and the varied decor, without the production cost for this would have to be significantly increased.

In the case of the embodiment of a surface decoration 4 of the large format plate 2b, this has been displaced to the left by half the width of a panel 10 when inserted into the printing machine 1 compared to the large format plate 2a. Consequently, the individual panels 10 are printed completely differently.

Looking at the large format plates 2a and 2b together, so are after dividing into panels a total of 32 panels 10 with 16 divergent Oberflächendekoren ago, without the decor pattern was changed on a platen.

Based on the large format plate 2c in FIG. 3 The top right recognizes a surface decor 4c in which an offset in the longitudinal direction relative to the decor 4a on the large format plate 2a has taken place. This in turn changes the surface decorations of the adjacent panels 10, so that together with the surface decorations 4a and 4b of the large format panels 2a and 2b a total of 24 differently printed individual panels are present with a total of only 48 panels.

When the large size plate 2d according to FIG. 3 Finally, bottom right and finally offset laterally as well as in the longitudinal direction, in turn results in a different printed image on the individual panels 10. In this case, the number of differently printed panels would increase to 32 for a total number of panels of 64. If in addition to each the bottom half of each large format plate 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d rotated by 180 ° in the image plane along its central transverse plane MQE, so that the groove / tongue profiling of the lower half is mounted inversely to the upper half, 64 result different printed panels 10 when using only a single pressure roller. By varying the lateral offset and changing the offset in the longitudinal direction, it is theoretically and practically possible to produce as many differently printed panels with one and the same pressure roller, wherein the printed image of two panels 10 produced in this way is always slightly different.
