Da die Randbereichen 1b, 1c aus einem weicherem Material gefertigt sind, bilden sich dort keine störenden Kanten aus. Durch diese Ausgestaltung kann die Mahlrolle 2 tief und ungestört in das Mahlbett während der gesamten Nutzungszeit der Mahlbahn eindringen. Etwaige Kanten am Rand des Mittelbereichs 1a entstehen erst gar nicht oder werden von der Mahlrolle beseitigt. Am Ende der Nutzungszeit ergibt sich das in
