Im Anschluss daran werden um das Einbaugehäuse die entfernten Deckenplatten zugeschnitten und mittels zusätzlicher Anschlussteile an dem tragenden Bauteil befestigt. Dabei wird meist an beiden Stirnseiten des Einbaugehäuses jeweils eine sogenannte Revisionsöffnung freigelassen. Danach wird in das Einbaugehäuse ein Innengehäuse mit einer Rollleinwand und einem Antrieb eingesetzt. Dieses Innengehäuse ist in seinem horizontalen Querschnitt nur unwesentlich kleiner als der entsprechende Querschnitt des Einbaugehäuses, so dass dasselbe fast spielfrei von dem Einbaugehäuse aufgenommen werden kann.
