Abstract

The invention relates to a method for selecting and displaying travel data, wherein information, particularly images and texts, is read out from a catalogue proposing travel deals for accommodation in a specific destination. The data is digitized and stored in a data set together with data containing information on the origin of said data. Each data set is marked with an identification code. Data sets are created for a plurality of hotels. One or several selection criteria are then interrogated. A characterizing overview part of the data sets is displayed in a hit list. A hit can be selected and the full data set is displayed together with images and texts. A set of parameters clearly identifying the displayed data set is created for the selected hits. A data bank search is then triggered with the aid of a booking machine and a hit list of bookable trips is drawn up. The hit list is displayed on the same surface as the full set of data.

Durch Anklicken des Buttons 48 werden dann unabhängig vom Veranstalter alle Reisen in dieselbe Unterkunft angezeigt, die die Auswahlkriterien im erforderlichen Maß erfüllen. Dies ist in Fig. 6 dargestellt. Bei den gezeigten Reisen handelt es sich nicht um einem Katalog entnommene Daten, für die ein Preis aus dem Preisteil berechnet wurde. Vielmehr handelt es sich um die Ergebnisse einer Datenbankrecherche, bei welchen auch die Verfügbarkeit gewährleistet ist. Die Trefferliste stellt also nicht einen Computerautomatisierten, verbesserten Preisteil eines Katalogs dar, sondern ist ein wesentliches Verbindungsglied zur tatsächlichen Buchung. Die Buchung kann durch Klick auf einen Button 50 ausgelöst werden.
