Abstract
L'invention concerne un système pour billets de banque, servant à l'introduction et à la distribution de billets de banque, ainsi qu'un procédé pour commander ledit système. Le système selon l'invention permet de traiter une pluralité de valeurs nominales et se distingue par une conception compacte. En particulier, la possibilité de conserver des billets de banque présentant au moins deux valeurs nominales différentes dans une seule unité de rangement permet de conserver, facilement et avec un faible encombrement, des billets de banque présentant différentes valeurs nominales. Une unité de détection permet de déterminer la valeur nominale d'un billet de banque de sorte que la valeur nominale du billet de banque rangé est connu. La valeur nominale déterminée d'un billet de banque est de préférence mémorisée dans une unité de commande de sorte que la valeur nominale d'une série de billets de banque rangés est connue pour chaque unité de rangement. Ainsi, une cassette séparée pour chaque valeur nominale n'est pas nécessaire dans le système de billets de banque selon l'invention.
