Definitions
- the invention is based on a handheld power tool with a torque limiting unit according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Hand tool machines such as cordless screwdrivers, cordless drills, or cordless impact drills, have high drive torque, the limitation of which is desirable for some applications.
- an adjustable torque limiter for example, a number of screws with the same
- Screwing be screwed into a workpiece, wherein a torque limiting unit disengages as soon as the screws oppose a motor output a certain torque resistance.
- the torque limiting unit is adjustable by an operator.
- a hand tool with a torque limiting as described above is known.
- An operator sets the maximum torque to be transmitted to the tool driver with a torque limiting unit disengaged when the torque produced by the engine exceeds the set maximum torque.
- a drilling position is provided in which the torque limiting unit can no longer separate and thus an uninterrupted power flow between the engine output and the tool driving is guaranteed even with a strong resistance of the tool.
- the invention is based on a handheld power tool with a torque limiting unit, with which a maximum torque, which is transmitted from a motor output to a tool driver, is adjustable by an operator.
- the hand tool machine has an overload clutch, which interrupts a power flow between the engine output and the tool driver, when the transmitted torque exceeds an overload torque. It can undesirable, very high torques, for example, torques above 45 Nm, which can lead to a risk of injury to an operator and to damage in the power tool can be intercepted.
- an adjustable maximum torque between 1 Nm and 15 Nm, for example, to be able to make a speedy screwing in wood without damage to screws or wood.
- Drilling position in which the hand tool can be used to its power limit and an interruption of the torque by the torque limiting unit is inadmissible.
- larger working torques up to about 45 Nm of a
- Overload clutch the power flow between the engine output and the tool drive above an overload torque.
- An overload torque is understood to mean a torque which poses a risk potential for the operator.
- the overload torque is suitably above 45 Nm, in particular above 55 Nm.
- the overload torque is advantageously preset and unchangeable for an operator and also suitably preset independently of a maximum torque of the torque limiting unit.
- a reliably adjustable and quickly disengaging torque limiting unit can be achieved if the torque limiting unit interrupts a power flow between the engine output and the tool driving when the torque is exceeded by the maximum torque.
- Torque limiting unit the power flow between the engine output and the tool driving on a first clutch, and the overload clutch interrupts the power flow to a second clutch. Due to the independent separation of the power flow through the torque limiting unit and the overload clutch, the power tool can be made particularly secure and the maximum torque can be easily adjusted. - A -
- the torque limiting unit has a bridging position, in which the torque which can be transmitted by it is greater than the overload torque.
- the torque limiting unit can be adjusted or bypassed independently of the overload clutch, whereby a simple operability of the torque limiting unit can be achieved with a high level of safety for an operator through the overload clutch.
- the overload clutch comprises an element which is an element of a planetary gear.
- Hand tool machines with a planetary gear are usually made very compact.
- an element of the planetary gear as an element of
- an element that is an element of the torque limiting unit and also an element of the overload clutch is an element that is an element of the torque limiting unit and also an element of the overload clutch. It can also be saved additional elements, whereby the hand tool is kept cheap.
- the element is expediently such an element, at which the power flow is interrupted by the engine output on the tool driving by the torque limiting unit or the overload clutch, in particular by both the torque limiting unit and the overload clutch is interrupted.
- a simple and thus inexpensive installation of the power tool can be achieved if the Torque limiting unit and the overload clutch acting in the same direction spring elements.
- a compact hand tool can be achieved.
- the compactness of the power tool is conducive when the direction is the axial direction.
- the arrangement of the spring elements in a spring assembly, the power tool can also be kept very compact.
- Torque in a large torque range can be achieved if at least the spring elements of the torque limiting unit are different lengths of coil springs. Due to the different lengths, a progressively increasing maximum torque can be achieved in a particularly simple manner with uniform impressions of the spring assembly.
- the overload clutch in the spring assembly comprises shorter coil springs than the
- Torque limiting unit These shorter coil springs can be made very tight and thereby provide in the area in which the package is very compressed, a very high spring force of the package, which is relevant for the overload torque.
- the overload clutch and the torque limiting unit can be made very compact together in this way.
- the torque limiting unit comprises an adjusting element with a control cam which has a first segment for setting the maximum torque and a control in the first having different second segment for setting a drilling operation without adjustable torque limiter.
- the second segment of the control cam may be made steeper than the first segment, so that with a short operation of the adjustment member, a large change in torque from a maximum torque to a lock-up position and the overload torque, respectively. It is also possible to design the second segment very flat or without a torque change, whereby an undesired pushing out of the adjusting element from the setting of the drilling operation can be prevented.
- Slight mechanical stress on the elements of the overload clutch can be achieved when the overload clutch has a multi-element package with a preloaded spring element, with the bias held within the package.
- the package is expediently limited by at least two elements which are holding the bias voltage with each other, in particular attached to each other.
- a high preload can be achieved with a plate spring to save space.
- FIG. 1 shows a front part of a cordless screwdriver with a torque limiting unit and an overload clutch in an exploded view
- Fig. 3 is a perspective view of a guide sleeve of Figure 1 and
- Fig. 4 shows an alternative arrangement of elements of a torque limiting unit and an overload clutch.
- Figures 1 and 2 show a front part of a designed as a cordless power tool hand tool in an exploded view ( Figure 1) and a sectional view ( Figure 2).
- a torque is transmitted from the engine output 4 to a three-stage planetary gear with, inter alia, planet wheels 8, which consequently rotate about their own axis.
- the planet gears 8 are mounted on a planet carrier 10, which does not rotate in the normal working mode, that is fixedly connected to a housing 12 of the power tool.
- the planetary gears 8 drive a ring gear 14, the internal toothing of which engages around a driver 16 and drives it.
- the driver 16 drives a star 18 and this via an inner square the tool driver. 6
- the planet carrier 10 rests stationary to the housing 12.
- the non-rotatable connection is achieved via cam 32 of the planet carrier 10, which engage in cams of the first locking disc 20, wherein the first locking disc 20 in turn connected to cam 34, which are in engagement with cam 36 of the second locking disc 22, with the second locking disc 22 ,
- the second locking disc 22 in turn is held by arms 38 of the pressure piece 26, which engage between elevations 40 of the second locking disc 22.
- the two pressure pieces 26, 28 are held by formations 42 in inner grooves 44 ( Figure 3) of the guide sleeve 30.
- a plate spring 46 is arranged, which is inserted in a holder 48.
- the holder 48 includes with arms 50, the plate spring 46 and the planet carrier 10 and engages in pockets 52 of the first locking disk 20 a. In these pockets 52, the arms 50 are held by thickenings 54, wherein the holder 48 is held at a voltage with which the plate spring 46 is compressed a little way, on the locking disc 20 and the planet carrier 10 between disc spring 46 and locking disc 20 clamps.
- the holder 48, the plate spring 46, the planetary carrier 10 and the locking disc 20 form a biased package 56.
- the force exerted by the plate spring 46 on the planetary carrier 10 and the retaining wheel 58 pressure force is by the arms 50 and the pockets 52 within held the package 56 and thus does not supported by the retaining wheel 58 and a wire ring 64 in the guide sleeve 30 become.
- the retaining wheel 58 is arranged, which engages with protrusions 60 in the inner grooves 62 of the guide sleeve 30 and rotatably connected thereto and is secured to the wire ring 64 axially in the guide sleeve 30.
- the spring pressure of the spring elements 24 can be varied to the second locking disc 22 by means of an adjusting means 66.
- the adjusting means 66 an actuating means 68, a cam ring 70, a
- Perforated disk 72 Perforated disk 72, a bolt 74 and a spring 76.
- a recess 78 and a groove 80 hold the cam ring 70 and the perforated disc 72 rotationally fixed in the actuating means 68.
- Upon rotation of the actuating means 68 of the cam ring 70 is rotated, wherein on a control cam 82 of the cam ring 70 slipping arms 84 for movement of the second pressure piece 28 in the axial direction 86 provide.
- the arms 84 engage through recesses 88 of the guide sleeve 30 and, loaded by the spring force of the spring elements 24, pressed against the control cam 82. In a movement of the second
- Pressure element 28 in the axial direction 86 varies the spring pressure of the spring element 24, with which the second locking disc 22 is pressed onto the first locking disc 20.
- the second locking disk 22 is through oblique flanks of the cams 34, 36 deflected against the spring elements 24, and the first locking disc 20 - and with it the entire package 56 - can rotate against the second locking disc 22.
- the rotationally fixed connection between planet carrier 10 and guide sleeve 30 is interrupted at a first coupling between the two locking disks 20, 22.
- the cam ring 70 comprises, in addition to a uniformly rising first segment 90 within the control cam 82, a second, steeper rising segment 92 and a third, flat segment 94 for implementing a drilling operation, which does not change the spring pressure when the cam ring 70 is rotated the spring elements 24 causes.
- Bridging position are the arms 84 on the third segment 94 and are deflected at most far in the direction of the engine output 4 of the power tool.
- the spring elements 24 are compressed so far that the spring elements 24 holding pins 96, 98 touch each other, so that the locking disc 22 is held in the axial direction 86 inextricably between the locking disk 20 and the pressure member 28.
- a latching of the first locking disk 20 via the second locking disk 22 - and thus a separation of the power flow through the first clutch - is no longer possible.
- Tool driver 6 are transmitted.
- an overload clutch is arranged within the package 56, which interrupts the power flow to the tool driver 6 when an overload torque is exceeded. If a torque transmitted to the tool driver 6, which reaches the overload torque, the planet carrier 10 is deflected by oblique edges of the cam 32 and the cam of the locking disc 20 in the direction of the plate spring 46 and the plate spring 46 is further compressed against its bias. The planet carrier 10 can now turn against the locking disk 20, whereby the power flow from the engine output 4 to the tool driver 6 is interrupted at a second coupling between the planet carrier 10 and the locking disk 20. While the locking disk 20 and the holder 48 rest in a rotationally fixed manner to the guide sleeve 30, the planet carrier 10 rotates and possibly with it the plate spring 46.
- the locking disk 20 is thus part of the package 56 thus part of the overload clutch, which consists of just that package 56, and part of the torque limiting unit 2, which additionally includes the plungers 26, 28, the spring elements 24 and the locking disk 22.
- FIGS. 1 to 3 are alternative arrangements of elements of a torque limiting unit 2 and an overload clutch shown. Substantially identical components are basically numbered with the same reference numerals. Furthermore, with regard to features and functions that remain the same, reference can be made to the description of the exemplary embodiment in FIGS. 1 to 3.
- coil springs 100, 102, 104 are executed in different lengths.
- the longest coil springs 100 are held with a small bias between the locking disc 22 and the pressure member 26.
- the maximum torque is set to 1 Nm.
- Spiral springs 102 are still arranged with a small clearance between the locking disc 22 and the pressure piece 26. From a maximum torque of 4 Nm, the spiral springs 102 are compressed in a further rotation of the cam ring 70, so that the maximum torque with a smooth rotation of the cam ring 70 now increases faster, up to a value of 20 Nm.
- the shortest coil springs 104 are arranged in this position even with a game between the locking disc 20 and the pressure piece 26 and contribute to the force of the existing of the coil springs 100, 102 and 104 spring package yet nothing.
- Spiral springs 104 also compressed, but between the pins 96, 98 still a small game remains.
- the maximum torque is now set by the very tight coil springs 104 to 55 Nm.
- the resulting compressive force by the spring assembly of the coil springs 100, 102, 104 of about 400 N is received within the guide sleeve 30 by the retaining wheel 58 and the wire ring 64.
- the power flow from the engine output 4 to the tool driver 6 is thus interrupted at the same point at which it is interrupted by the torque limiting unit 2 even at a set outside the drilling position maximum torque.
