  15. Gravure printing unit (4) according to the three preceding claims,
    characterised in that
    the second splash guard (27) is arranged to at least one ink reservoir (6, 11) in such a way that it controls the escape of ink drops from this ink reservoir (6, 11).
  16. Gravure printing machine (4) comprising at least a gravure printing unit (4) according to one of the preceding claims.
  17. Process for exchanging an old gravure cylinder (1) of a gravure printing unit (4) by a new gravure cylinder (1) of another shape,
    - whereby (4) an ink wiper (26) which comprises an ink wiping surface (16) which can be brought into contact with at least parts of the new gravure cylinder (1) is pushed against the new gravure cylinder (1)
    - and the radius of curvature of the ink wiping surface (16) is adjustable regarding the radius of curvature of the gravure cylinder (1) at least over parts of its expansion in peripheral direction (ϕ) of the gravure cylinder (1),
    characterised in that
    - the ink wiping surface (16) contacts the gravure cylinder only at one edge of the gravure cylinder (1)
    - and the radius of curvature of the ink wiper (26) is adjustable by adjustment means of the radius of curvature (21, 20) whereby the adjustment means of the radius of curvature (21, 20) pushes the ink wiping surface (16) against the peripheral area of the gravure cylinder (1).
