Claims (17)

  1. Ein Verfahren zum Paging bzw. Funkrufen eines Drahtlosterminals (10) in einem Drahtloskommunikationssystem, das folgendes aufweist:
    Senden einer Schnellpagenachricht von einem Basisstationssteuerelement (14), worauf im folgenden als BSC (base station controller) Bezug genommen wird, über eine Basisstation (12) zu dem Drahtlosterminal (10) über einen ersten Kanal, wobei die Schnellpagenachricht das Drahtlosterminal (10) davon in Kenntnis setzt mit der Überwachung eines zweiten Kanals nach einer Vollpagenachricht zu beginnen;
    Senden der Vollpagenachricht von dem BSC (14) über die Basisstation (12) zu dem Drahtlosterminal (10) über den zweiten Kanal;
    wobei das Verarbeiten des zweiten Kanals ein Mehr an Verarbeiten beinhaltet als für den ersten Kanal, wobei das Mehr an Verarbeiten folgendes beinhaltet:
    Codieren durch einen Codierer (60), Verschachteln durch einen Verschachtler (62), und Hinzufügen von einer zyklischen Redundanzprüfung durch eine zyklische Redundanzprüfschaltung zu der Vollpagenachricht;
    wobei das Drahtlosterminal (10) ein bestimmtes Drahtlosterminal (10) ist, das in einem Satz von Drahtlosterminals (10) in dem Drahtloskommunikationssystem enthalten ist;
    wobei die Schnellpagenachricht zum Anweisen des Satzes von Drahtlosterminals dient, den zweiten Kanal nach der Vollpagenachricht zu überwachen; wobei die Schnellpagenachricht weniger Daten enthält als die Vollpagenachricht; wobei die Vollpagenachricht das bestimmte Drahtlosterminal (10) in dem Satz von Drahtlosterminals identifiziert;
    wobei das Senden der Schnellpagenachricht auftritt während eines ersten Zeitschlitzes (30), der dem Satz von Drahtlosterminals (10) zugeordnet ist;
    wobei das Senden der Vollpagenachricht während eines zweiten Zeitschlitzes (32) auftritt, der den Satz von Drahtlosterminals (10) zugewiesen ist;
    wobei der zweite Zeitschlitz (32) nach dem ersten Zeitschlitz (30) auftritt, und zwar nach einer Verzögerung (34); wobei die Schnellpagenachricht aus einem einzelnen Datenbit besteht,
    wobei der Satz von Drahtlosterminals (10), der dem ersten Zeitschlitz (30) zugewiesen ist bzw. zugeordnet ist, sich über die Zeit hinweg ändert, und zwar durch Anwenden einer Hash-Funktion auf die Systemzeit der Basisstation und auf eine MOBILE ID bzw. Mobiltelefonkennung des Drahtlosterminals (10), um Sicherzustellen, dass jedes Drahtlosterminal einem unterschiedlichen Satz von anderen Drahtlosterminals (10) während eines jeden ersten Zeitschlitzes (30) zugeordnet ist.
  2. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 1, wobei der zweite Kanal aufgebaut wird über Direktsequenzmodulation.
  3. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 1, das weiterhin die Schritte des Generierens der Schnellpagenachricht vor dem Schritt des Sendens der Schnellpagenachricht über den ersten Kanal; und des Generierens der Vollpagenachricht vor dem Senden der Vollpagenachricht über den zweiten Kanal aufweist.
  4. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 1, das weiterhin folgende Schritt aufweist:
    Direktsequenzspreizen der Vollpagenachricht; und
    Direktsequenzspreizen der Schnellpagenachricht.
  5. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 1, das weiterhin folgende Schritte aufweist:
    Empfangen der Schnellpagenachricht während des ersten Zeitschlitzes (30);
    Aktivieren von Signalverarbeitungsschaltung des Drahtlosterminals (10);
    Empfangen der Vollpagenachricht während des zweiten Zeitschlitzes (32) und Verwenden der aktivierten Signalverarbeitungsschaltung zum Verarbeiten der Vollpagenachricht.
  6. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 5, wobei die Signalverarbeitungsschaltung aus einem Trellis Decodierungssystem besteht.
  7. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 6, wobei die Signalverarbeitungsschaltung aus einem Deinterleaver bzw. Entschachtler (304) besteht.
  8. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 6, wobei die Signalverarbeitungsschaltung aus einer zyklischen Redundanzprüfschaltung besteht.
  9. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 1, wobei der Codierer (60) ein Faltungscodierer ist.
  10. Ein Verfahren zum Paging bzw. Funkrufen eines Drahtlosterminals (10) in einem Drahtloskommunikationssystem, wobei das Verfahren folgendes aufweist:
    Empfangen, durch das Drahtlosterminal (10) einer Schnellpagenachricht von einem BSC über eine Basisstation über einen ersten Kanal, wobei die Schnellpagenachricht das Drahtlosterminal (10) davon in Kenntnis setzt einen zweiten Kanal nach einer Vollpagenachricht zu überwachen;
    Empfangen durch das Drahtlosterminal (10), der Vollpagenachricht von dem BSC über die Basisstation über den zweiten Kanal;
    wobei das Empfangen der Vollpagenachricht ein Mehr an Verarbeiten involviert im Vergleich zu dem Empfangen der Schnellpagenachricht, wobei das Mehr an Verarbeiten das Decodieren durch ein Decodierungssystem, das Deinterleaven bzw. Entschachteln durch einen Deinterleaver (62) und das Verarbeiten durch eine zyklische Redundanzprüfschaltung beinhaltet;
    wobei das Drahtlosterminal (10) ein bestimmtes Drahtlosterminal (10) enthalten in einem Satz von Drahtlosterminals (10) in dem Drahtloskommunikationssystem ist; wobei die Schnellpagenachricht zum Anweisen des Satzes von Drahtlosterminals dient, den zweiten Kanal nach der Vollpagenachricht zu überwachen;
    wobei die Schnellpagenachricht weniger Daten als die Vollpagenachricht enthält; wobei die Vollpagenachricht das bestimmte Drahtlosterminal (10) in dem Satz von Drahtlosterminals identifiziert;
    wobei das Empfangen der Schnellpagenachricht während eines ersten Zeitschlitzes (30), der dem Satz von Drahtlosterminals (10) zugewiesen ist, auftritt;
    wobei das Empfangen der Vollpagenachricht während eines zweiten Zeitschlitzes (32), das dem Satz von Drahtlosterminals (10) zugewiesen ist, auftritt; wobei der zweite Zeitschlitz (32) nach dem ersten Zeitschlitz (30) auftritt, und zwar um eine Verzögerung (34);
    wobei die Schnellpagenachricht aus einem einzelnen Datenbit besteht, und
    wobei der Satz von Drahtlosterminals (10), die dem ersten Zeitschlitz (30) zugeordnet sind, über die Zeit hinweg sich ändert, und zwar durch Anwenden einer Hash-Funktion auf die Systemzeit der Basisstation und auf eine MOBILE ID des Drahtlosterminals (10), um sicherzustellen, dass jedes Drahtlosterminal einem unterschiedlichen Satz von anderen Drahtlosterminals (10) zugeordnet ist, und zwar während eines jeden ersten Zeitschlitzes (30).
  11. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 10, wobei das Decodierungssystem ein Trellis Decodierungssystem ist.
  12. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 10, das weiterhin folgendes aufweist:
    Aktivieren einer Signalverarbeitungsschaltung des Drahtlosterminals (10); und Verwenden der aktivierten Signalverarbeitungsschaltung zum Verarbeiten der Vollpagenachricht.
  13. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 12, wobei die Signalverarbeitungsschaltung aus einem Trellis Decodierungssystem besteht.
  14. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 12, wobei die Signalverarbeitungsschaltung aus einem Deinterleaver (304) besteht.
  15. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 12, wobei die Signalverarbeitungsschaltung aus einer zyklischen Redundanzprüfschaltung besteht.
  16. Eine Vorrichtung zum Pagen eines Drahtlosterminals (10) in einem Drahtloskommunikationssystem, wobei die Vorrichtung folgendes aufweist:
    Mittel zum Empfangen einer Schnellpagenachricht von einem BSC über eine Basisstation über einen ersten Kanal, wobei die Schnellpagenachricht das Drahtlosterminal (10) davon in Kenntnis setzt, das Überwachen eines zweiten Kanals nach einer Vollpagenachricht zu beginnen;
    Mittel zum Empfangen der Vollpagenachricht von dem BSC über die Basisstation über den zweiten Kanal;
    wobei die Mittel zum Empfangen der Vollpagenachricht mehr Verarbeitungsmittel aufweist als die Mittel zum Empfangen der Schnellpagenachricht, wobei das Mehr an Verarbeitungsmitteln folgendes aufweist: Mittel zum Decodieren durch ein Decodierungssystem, Mittel zum Entschachteln durch einen Entschachtler (62), und Mittel zum Verarbeiten durch eine zyklische Redundanzprüfschaltung;
    wobei das Drahtlosterminal (10) ein bestimmtes Drahtlosterminal (10) ist, enthalten in einem Satz von Drahtlosterminals (10) in dem Drahtloskommunikationssystem; wobei die Schnellpagenachricht zum Anweisen des Satzes von Drahtlosterminals dient, den zweiten Kanal nach der Vollpagenachricht zu überwachen; wobei die Schnellpagenachricht weniger Daten enthält als die Vollpagenachricht; wobei die Vollpagenachricht das bestimmte Drahtlosterminal (10) in dem Satz von Drahtlosterminals identifiziert;
    wobei die Schnellpagenachricht von dem Drahtlosterminal (10) während eines ersten Zeitschlitzes (30), der dem Satz von Drahtlosterminals zugeordnet ist, empfangen wird;
    wobei die Vollpagenachricht von dem Drahtlosterminal (10) während eines zweiten Zeitschlitzes (32), der dem Satz von Drahtlosterminals (10) zugewiesen ist, empfangen wird; wobei der zweite Zeitschlitz (32) nach dem ersten Zeitschlitz (30) auftritt, und zwar um eine Verzögerung (34); wobei die Schnellpagenachricht aus einem Einzeldatenbit besteht, und wobei der Satz von Drahtlosterminals (10), der dem ersten Zeitschlitz (30) zugeordnet ist, über die Zeit hinweg sich ändert, und zwar durch Anwenden einer Hash-Funktion auf die Systemzeit der Basisstation und auf eine MOBILE ID des Drahtlosterminals (10), um sicherzustellen, dass jedes Drahtlosterminal einen unterschiedlichen Satz von anderen Drahtlosterminals (10) während eines jeden ersten Zeitschlitzes (30) zugeordnet ist.
  17. Vorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 16, wobei das Decodierungssystem ein Trellis Decodierungssystem ist.
