Description

The present invention relates to a bumper skin protection cover of a motor vehicle, an assembly of a storage device and such a cover, and a method of loading this bumper skin.

DE 201 01 374 U1 discloses a storage device in which the bumper skins are placed on flexible strips.

Also known in the state of the art, a bumper skin storage device consisting of a shelf having several horizontal shelves on each of which is deposited bumper skins packaged in individual covers.

The use of these storage devices makes it possible to carry bumper skins in number, rather than to handle them individually.

However, the skins resting on the shelves suffer small shocks due to the vibrations of the transport vehicle in which the shelves are loaded. Indeed, these vibrations can cause shocks between a bumper skin and its shelf or between two bumper skins nearby.

Thus, even if the covers already protect the surface of the skins, a scrap rate remains and can be further reduced.

To this end, the subject of the invention is a bumper skin protection cover, characterized in that it comprises means for suspending a support.

The protective cover is generally adapted to several types of bumper skins, provided that their dimensions are similar.

Thanks to the invention, the suspension of the bumper skin during its transport allows a less important transmission therefrom vibrations due to the rolling of the transport vehicle, because the bumper skin is not in contact direct with its support, which receives all the vibrations of the box. In addition, the suspension linkage having degrees of freedom, it further dampens the vibrations.

Shocks between the different bumper skins are also reduced because all the bumper skins oscillate in a single block: the relative movements of the bumper skins relative to each other are limited and the shocks, scratches or knocks generated during transport are therefore mitigated.

Thus, the storage device according to the invention makes it possible to condition the bumper skins in a more respectful manner, that is to say to reduce their scrap rate related to transport.

Advantageously, the suspension means comprise a ring or a hook.

In a particular embodiment, the suspension means comprise at least one strap, preferably made of fabric, secured to the cover, in particular by sewing.

Advantageously, at least one strap is able to be secured to the bumper skin, so as to transmit directly to the support at least a portion of the weight of the bumper skin.

Thus, the bumper skin can be directly suspended from the support by the suspension means and no longer via the cover: this reduces the risk of creating minimal appearance defects, existing when the skin shocks is suspended via the cover, due to the pressure exerted by the cover on the sensitive surfaces of the bumper skin.

Advantageously, at least one strap comprises a connecting mechanism capable of binding the strap to a complementary strap.

This mechanism facilitates the establishment by an operator of the cover and straps relative to the bumper skin in the case where the straps allow the direct suspension of the bumper skin.

In another embodiment, the suspension means comprise, sewn to the cover, a plastic ear, having an opening.

Advantageously, the cover is made of an elastic material.

Thus, the cover is extensible and adaptable, within certain limits, to the dimensions of the bumper skin. It is therefore possible to use the same cover for several types of skin.

Advantageously, the cover is made of a shock absorbing material. Thus, even in the event of collision of the bumper skin that it contains with the support or the surrounding skin, the defects generated in this skin are less important, or even non-existent.

The subject of the invention is also an assembly of a device for storing bumper skins and a cover according to the invention, in which the storage device comprises a carrier provided with attachment means capable of cooperating with the suspension means of a cover as described above.

In a particular embodiment, the attachment means comprise at least one tensioned cable or a rigid horizontal direction bar adapted to cooperate with the suspension means in the form of a ring or hook of the cover.

In another particular embodiment, the attachment means comprise at least one hook or a ring adapted to cooperate with the suspension means in the form of strap or plastic ear cover.

Optionally, the rigid bar is provided with a slide.

Advantageously, the assembly also comprises spacing means, a predetermined distance from two adjacent bumper skins.

The term "predetermined distance" means a distance chosen by an operator, this distance is not necessarily the same between all bumper skins.

Advantageously, the bearing comprises two rigid bars and the spacing means comprise I-shaped bars having a rectilinear central part, on which are arranged the suspension means, and two parallel straight end portions respectively forming a slider cooperating with a slide of a rigid bar.

Advantageously, hooking means are arranged at different heights.

This makes it possible to store bumper skins at different heights in the transport vehicle. An optimization of the storage space and a saving of transport costs are therefore still achieved.

Advantageously, the bearing also comprises means for adjusting the level of the attachment means along a vertical axis.

Thus, the position of the attachment means is adjustable along a vertical axis. Even if the space required for each type of bumper skin varies, it is possible to optimize the storage space.

The invention also relates to a method for storing at least one bumper skin in a transport vehicle, characterized in that it comprises:
  • a step of conditioning the skin in a cover according to the invention,
  • a step of attaching the cover to an armature according to the invention,
  • a loading step of a reinforcement according to the invention in the transport vehicle.

In a particular embodiment, in which at least one strap is able to be attached to the bumper skin, the method according to the invention comprises an additional step of securing this strap to the bumper skin. , after the conditioning step and prior to the attachment step.

In a particular embodiment, in the case where the carrier is provided with a slide, the method according to the invention comprises an additional step of transferring, prior to loading, at least one cover positioned on a manual trolley , constituting a first bearing of a device according to the invention to a second carrying a device according to the invention, intended to be loaded into the transport vehicle.

Thus, it avoids the use of a forklift, unwieldy and binding, without an additional step of loading long and binding is necessary. Indeed, the cover or covers, once loaded on the manual trolley, can slide, during the step of transferring the slide of the manual trolley to the slide of the second bearing, without these covers being moved one by one by a operator.

In another particular embodiment, the method comprises, between the conditioning and hooking steps, a step of placing a cover on a conveyor and a step of unhooking the cover of this conveyor.

Thus, the presence of forklifts in the plant is also avoided by this method and the presence of an operator to push each manual truck is no longer necessary. Indeed, in this case, the covers are brought directly from their packaging point to their attachment point on the bearing. These two points can therefore be placed in two different places, depending on the proximity of the transport vehicles or the storage space of the houses. The preparation time of a bumper skin for transport is therefore reduced.

In the case of figure 3 , the cover 22 comprises two straps 28. Each strap 28 is fixed to the cover 22 at one of its ends, the other end of this strap 28 forming a sewn loop in which is inserted the ring 32 constituting the suspension means.

In the case of figure 4 two ears 34 of plastic are sewn to the cover 22, each ear 34 having an opening 36 for cooperating with a hook 23 of the storage device.

In the case of figure 5 , the cover 22 comprises two straps 38. Each strap 38 is fixed to the cover 22 at each of its ends. The cover 22 can then be suspended, in the manner of a backpack, a hook 23 of the storage device.

In the case of figure 6 , the cover 22 comprises four straps 40,41, cooperating in pairs. Each strap 40,41 is attached to the cover 22 at one of its ends. In particular, each first strap 40 is fixed to an inner face of the cover 22, intended to be in contact with the bumper skin, each second strap 41, cooperating with a first strap 40, being fixed to an outer face of the cover 22. Each second strap 41 comprises at its free end a removable connecting mechanism 42 adapted to bind the second strap 41 to the first strap 40, to durably shape a closed loop with these straps. This mechanism 42 is conventional and comprises for example a plastic loop. It is shaped to be disabled by an operator (so that free ends of the first and second straps 40, 41 are independent) without being deactivated during the suspension.

Such a cover makes it possible to directly suspend the bumper skin 12 to the attachment means while protecting it, the packaging in the cover remaining simple. To do this, the free end of each first strap 40 is passed through an orifice 44 of the bumper skin 12, in particular a hole in the skin allowing snap-fastening of other elements thereto, and is linked to the second strap 41 using the connecting mechanism 42 thereof. The closed loop formed by the first and second straps 40, 41 cooperates with a hook 23 of the storage device.

Variantes :Variations:

  • une housse selon l'invention peut comporter un anneau directement piqué dans la housse.a cover according to the invention may comprise a ring directly stitched in the cover.
  • elle peut également comporter deux sangles en tissu à l'extrémité desquelles sont fixés respectivement un anneau et un crochet.it may also comprise two fabric straps at the end of which are respectively fixed a ring and a hook.
The ring can then be passed in the hook, so as to secure the connection.
Description du procédé selon l'invention :Description of the process according to the invention

The method according to a first embodiment comprises a first step of conditioning the bumper skin 12 in a cover 22 according to the invention.

In a particular embodiment (when the cover has at least one strap adapted to be attached to the bumper skin 12 as shown in FIG. figure 6 ), the method comprises a step of securing this strap to the skin 12, for example by passing a first strap into a hole 44 of the skin 12 and then connecting the first and second straps using the mechanism 42.

This optional step or the conditioning step is followed by a step of attaching the cover 22 to a manual trolley equipped with wheels and comprising a frame 14 as described with reference to FIG. figure 1 .

Subsequently, this truck is pushed by an operator in a factory and is taken to a loading dock, where the transport vehicles are loaded.

Then, the operator implements a step of transferring the manual carriage to a bearing 14, intended to be loaded in the transport vehicle.

Les barreaux en I glissent alors du chariot manuel à l'armature 14.For this, it positions the hand truck and carrying 14 in a slope, the hand truck is at a higher altitude, removes shims positioned at the end of the slides 26 of the hand truck, located on the side bearing 14 and d ' other shims positioned at the end of the slide 26 of the bearing 14, located on the side of the manual trolley. The I-bars then slide from the manual trolley to the frame 14.

The operator then puts the shims in the slideways 26 of the bearing 14 and an operator implements a loading step of the transport vehicle, using a conventional forklift.

In a second mode of implementation, the cover 22 is directly positioned on the armature 14, 14 'intended to take place in the transport vehicle.

In this case, the method does not include a transfer step but has additional steps, between the conditioning step and the attachment step. The armature 14, 14 'is therefore an armature as described with reference to the figure 1 or at figure 2 .

These additional steps are steps of setting up the cover on a conveyor and unhooking the cover of this conveyor.

In the case where this method is used, a conveyor, for example a treadmill or a self-propelled wire, is indeed installed in the factory, one end of it being close to the point of conditioning of the bumper skins. 12, the other end being located near the loading dock.

Thus, after placing the bumper skin in the cover, an operator sets up the cover 22 on the conveyor. The conveyor brings the cover 22 to the loading dock, where it is unhooked by a second operator able to then perform the hooking step of the cover on the carrier.

It will be noted that the various objects of the invention are not limited to the embodiments described.
