Claims (11)

  1. Door stop integratable into a door panel, for mounting into a rabbet recess in the door edge region of the door panel,
    with a door stop plunger (2) having a plunger foot (3) and being pretensioned downwards by means of a spring (4),
    and with an actuating mechanism presenting an actuating member operable by hand and a connecting element (8, 13) coupling the actuating member with the door stop plunger (2), by means of which the door stop plunger can be selectively moved into a raised position and brought into a lowered position in which the plunger foot (3) is pressed against the floor under pretension,
    characterised in that the actuating mechanism presents an actuating member operable by hand and in the shape of an actuating lever (6) or a slider (17), which is arranged in the door edge region and can be moved between two stable positions, and in that the raised position of the door stop plunger (2) is a resting position and can be locked by the stable position of the actuating member, and the lowered position of the door stop plunger (2) is an operating position.
  2. Door stop according to claim 1, wherein the actuating member is a lever (6) connected to the door stop plunger (2) via a rigid connecting element (8), and wherein the spring (4) is arranged between the connecting element (8) and the plunger (2) or between the plunger and the plunger foot (3).
  3. Door stop according to claim 2, wherein the plunger (2) presents a shank (5), for example formed by a head screw and possibly being adjustable in its effective length, and having a thickened head, and wherein the rigid connecting element (8) ends, on the plunger side, in a spring abutment (9) engaging under the thickened head and being movable along the shank (5) relative to the plunger (2), and wherein the spring (4) is arranged between the spring abutment (9) and the plunger (2).
  4. Door stop according to claim 1, wherein the connecting element presents a pulling member (13), for exampled configured as a steel cable, that extends between the actuating member (6) and the plunger (2), and wherein the spring (4) is arranged between an abutment (12) fixed to the housing and the plunger (2).
  5. Door stop according to claim 4, wherein the actuating member is an actuating lever (6) pivotable about an axle (7), and the pulling member (13) is connected to the actuating lever (6) in a way that the line of application of the pulling force of the pulling member (13) is laterally offset from the axle (7) of the actuating lever (6) in such a way that the pulling force in the pulling member (13) exerts a torque on the actuating lever (6) which locks the actuating lever (6) under pretension in its position corresponding to the resting position of the door stop plunger (2).
  6. Door stop according to claim 4 or 5, wherein the pulling member (13) extends upwards from the plunger (2), is deflected downwards via an upper deflection pulley (15) and then reaches the actuating lever (6).
  7. Door stop according to any one of claims 4 to 6, wherein the pulling member (13) is formed partly by a flexible pulling element and partly by a rigid rod element (16).
  8. Door stop according to claim 1, wherein the actuating member is an actuating slider (17) that is connected to the plunger (2) via a pulling member (13) and movable between an upper and a lower position, wherein the upper position corresponds to the raised resting position of the plunger (2) in which the actuating lever (17) can be detachably locked, and the lower position corresponds to the lowered operating position of the plunger (2), and wherein the spring (4) biases the plunger (2) into its lowered operating position.
  9. Door stop according to claim 8, wherein the pulling member is fixed to a fixed point (19) with its one end, extends downwards therefrom, is then guided around a deflection pulley (20) connected to the slider (2) and therefrom extends upwards to the actuating slider (17).
  10. Door stop according to claim 8 or 9, wherein the actuating slider is configured with laterally projecting sliding pins (21) or similar elements which are guided in sliding guides (23) extending along the path of the slider, the sliding guides being on their upper ends configured with elements determining the locking position of the actuating slider (17).
  11. Door stop according to any one of claims 1 to 10, wherein the door stop plunger and the whole actuating mechanism are arranged together in a single housing.
