Definitions

  • the object of this patent is a perfected pack for cans of among those implemented from a stamped sheet, which has both perforated and recessed lines as well as cuts which define a circular central area wherein the cans are lodged.
  • the pack of the invention allows the grouping of a lot of cans of uniform shape and regularly distributed, facilitating the manipulation of said cans simultaneously.
  • the invention lies within the ambit of the stamped and cut sheets which are employed for the conformation of packs of cans.
  • the present invention is characterized in the special implementation of the cuts which define the circular central area on which the can to be supported is arranged, which provide a better support of said cans, facilitate the packing and cover the opening area of the can in order to maintain it hygienically clean.
  • the present invention introduces improvements in the stamped sheet defined by the aforementioned utility model, the purpose of which is to enhance the support of the cans when introduced in the pack, also reducing the friction produced on the can when introducing the same in the cardboard sheet during the packing operation.
  • the sheet configuration and the cuts of the pack disclosed provide protection from soiling that can be encountered during the transportation or the storage of the cans since the latter are arranged under the circular sections defined by the cuts.
  • the perfected pack for cans object of the invention consists of a stamped and cut sheet implemented preferably in cardboard, corrugated cardboard or similar material in which a series of cuts, perforated and recessed lines have been implemented.
  • the cut lines serve to define two mutually separable areas in which the upper rim of the cans is lodged.
  • the perforated lines which the sheet that conforms the pack has, serve for the separation or segregation of a number of units of the lot such as it has been distributed originally.
  • the recessed lines serve to allow a slight folding of those parts of the sheet which are joined and which after the incorporation of the rim of the cans in the cut areas necessarily produce a folding or doubling of some parts on the rest of the sheet.
  • the sheet has some cuts in form of an arc of circumference each two arranged in a confronting manner defining a circular central area on which the can to be supported is mounted.
  • the rims of the cans have an offset on the perimeter which on pressing the upper part of the can on the cuts slightly displace the edges of said cuts whereby the part of the sheet outermost thereto lodges in the perimeter offset which the cans have.
  • the disclosed design presents in the arc-shaped cuts an augmented central area which in combination with the two side areas which would be retracted allows the security to be enhanced of the anchorage of the neck of the can in the pack.
  • the retracted side areas of the arc-shaped cuts facilitate the packing of the can because they reduce the friction between the latter and the container on inserting the can in the same.
  • the pack for cans object of the invention consists of a stamped and cut sheet implemented preferably in cardboard, corrugated cardboard or similar material in which a series of cuts (1), perforated lines (2, 3) and recessed lines (4) have been implemented.
  • the sheet has some cuts (1) in form of an arc of circumference each two arranged in a confronting manner defining a circular central area (5) on which the can to be supported is placed.
  • These cuts (1) have an augmented central area (1.1) which in combination with the two side areas (1.2, 1.3) which would be retracted enhances the security of the anchorage of the neck of the can, as the augmented area (1.1) provides a greater grip on the same.
  • a force F applied in the radial direction to a circular profile has a distribution which is maximum at the point of application and decreases toward the extremities of the diameter perpendicular to the point of application of the force F. Therefore, the greatest support for the can in the circular sector (1) is produced in the central area (1.1) of the sector (1), the support being negligible on the sides (1.2, 1.3), for which reason it is only necessary to augment the central area (1.1) to increase the support of the can.
  • the side areas (1.2, 1.3) on being retracted with respect to the central area facilitate the packing of the can because they reduce the friction between the can and the container when inserting the neck of the bottle in the corresponding cut (1).
  • the side segments (1.1) of the arcs of circumference have some voids (1.1.1) which favor still more the packing of the can by eliminating the friction on the same in the side area where the capacity to support the can is less.
