Abstract

What is described is an ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board and a way of connecting the additional ironing surface with the ironing press for domestic use. Ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board consists of any common ironing press for domestic use and an additional ironing surface with absorption or expansion or without, which has reasonable length and can be connected to the ironing press for domestic use through different ways of connection or by expanding or extending of the ironing press, allowing the operation of the ironing press for domestic use as an ironing board as well, for the ironing of garments etc., by using a hand iron - steam iron, connected or not to the ironing press.

Description

This invention relates to an ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board. It consists of any common ironing press for domestic use and an additional ironing surface with absorption or expansion or without, which has reasonable length and can be connected to the ironing press for domestic use through different ways of connection or by expanding or extending of the ironing press, allowing the operation of the ironing press for domestic use as an ironing board as well, for the ironing of garments etc., by using a hand iron - steam iron, connected or not to the ironing press.
Hereinafter it is described a way of connection of the additional ironing surface to the ironing press for domestic use. It consists of a base with an ironing plate and a mechanism that can be placed at the lower surface of ironing press, in a manner such as to create an extension of the ironing surface, allowing, through the extension of the lower surface of ironing press the creation of an ironing system with ironing board for its operation for the ironing by using a hand iron - steam iron, connected or not to the ironing press.
The extension of ironing surface which, as it is already mentioned, has reasonable length, is connected to the base of the lower surface of ironing press through a sliding mechanism. This disposition allows the extension of the ironing surface and turns the ironing press into an ironing board.
When the user wants to change the ironing surface in order to use it again only as an ironing press for domestic use, he has to release the extension of the lower surface of ironing press and with his hand, to pull and detach the extension of the ironing surface.
The advantages of this ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board are mainly practical, since the use of the ironing press for domestic use is very simple as well as the fact that it can be changed into an ironing board through a way of connection to the extension of the lower surface.
Other advantages will also appear in the following description, with reference to the figures attached showing schematically as an example, a way of operation performance, which is the object of this invention.

Proceeding now to the detailed description of the way of connecting the additional ironing surface to the ironing press for domestic use,
Figure 1 is showing ironing press for domestic use consisting of an operation handle (9) on which is embodied the upper plate of the ironing press allowing ironing press to open and close as well as a lower plate (2) which is the ironing surface of ironing press.
By analyzing a way of the present invention (figure 6), under the lower plate (2) of ironing press for domestic use there is a movable socket for supporting the extension (4), placed in a parallel way for receiving the two studs for connecting the extension (3). The two studs for connecting the extension (3) can move and adjust into the socket for supporting the extension (4), which is also the base for supporting the extension (1). Moreover, under the plate (2) a handle is located for the extension of the movable socket of the stud for supporting (6), connecting the sockets supporting the extension stud (4) and can move by pulling out in order for the user to easily place the supporting studs (3) of the extension of the ironing surface (1) and in connection to the leg/stand (7) to immobilize the extension when the extension is connected to the lower ironing plate of the press (2) and the handle closes when the extension is removed.
When the user wants to iron difficult points as well as a garment of a large surface which can not be ironed using an ironing press for domestic use, with this ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board he can change the ironing press for domestic use into an ironing board for ironing by using a hand iron - steam iron, connected or not to the ironing press.
It is very clearly proved that the present invention, that is ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board fully achieves the predetermined objects and advantages, but it should be pointed out that many modifications, additions, changes or/and components' replacements can be made to it without such appliance being out of the patent's protection, as defined in the attached claims.

Claims

Ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board consisting of any common ironing press for domestic use and an additional ironing surface with absorption or expansion or without, which has reasonable length and can be connected to the ironing press for domestic use through different ways of connection or by expanding or extending of the ironing press, allowing the operation of the ironing press for domestic use as an ironing board as well, for the ironing of garments etc., by using a hand iron - steam iron, connected or not to the ironing press.
ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board according to claim 1, which is characterized by the fact that, according to the way of connection of the additional ironing surface to the ironing press, an extension of the ironing surface (1), which has reasonable length, can be placed to the lower surface of the ironing press for domestic use (2) and is supported on two sockets supporting the extension stud (4) and on a supporting system (7) that work in a sliding way in connection to the shafts (3) of the detached extension of the ironing surface (1) and lengthens the surface of ironing in order to be used as an ironing board as well, by using a hand iron - steam iron. The ironing press for domestic use consists of a fixed surface of ironing board (2) and an upper surface of ironing board that opens, which is connected to an operation handle (9), which allows closing the two surfaces of ironing board for a uniform distribution through pressure for the ironing of the garment. The ironing press for domestic use has a movable socket for supporting the extension (4), placed in a parallel way for receiving the two studs for connecting the extension (3). The two studs for connecting the extension (3) can move and adjust into the socket for supporting the extension (4), which is also the base for supporting the extension. Moreover, under the plate (2) a handle is located for the extension of the movable socket of the stud for supporting (6), connecting the sockets supporting the extension stud (4) and can move by pulling out, in order for the user to easily place the supporting studs (3) of the extension of the ironing surface and in connection to the leg/stand (7) to immobilize the extension when the extension is connected to the lower ironing plate of the press (2) and the handle closes when the extension is removed.
Ironing press for domestic use combined with ironing board according to claims 1 and 2, which is characterized by the fact that, according to a way of connection of the additional ironing surface to the ironing press, when the ironing press for domestic use is placed in a position of extension of the ironing surface, there is a socket for supporting the extension (4) and when the user wants to change the ironing surface in order to use it again only as an ironing press for domestic use, he has to release the extension (1) and with his hand, to pull and detach the extension from the lower ironing surface (2) of the ironing press.
