Abstract

The container is made from a flat panel, cut and folded to accommodate a bottle (20) with wedging sections for the bottle base and neck. The cut-out panel is folded to create two vertical side walls (2, 2') and a raised base (3b).   1. Packaging for a bottle (20), produced from a blank, folded and cropped, comprising:

    - fixing means (8, 8', 7, 7') arranged to hold together the said at least two opposite lateral walls (2, 2') in the direction folded upwards,
    - a first wedging device (3) and a second wedging device (4), each wedging device issuing from a wedging section (3, 4) of the said blank and being arranged to wedge the bottle between the base wall (1) and the said at least two lateral walls (2, 2') in the folded-upwards position,
    characterised in that the said wedging device (3) comprises a first centring wall (3b) arranged above the said base wall (1) at a first predetermined distance therefrom and provided with an opening (5) of adjustable size provided for housing a bottom of a bottle (20), and in that the said second wedging device (4) comprises a second centring wall (4) arranged above the said base wall (1), at a second predetermined distance therefrom, and provided with an orifice (6) of adjustable size provided for housing a neck of a bottle (20), the said fixing means comprising connection elements (8, 8') carried by the said second centring wall (4) and complementary connection elements (7, 7') disposed one above the other, at a predetermined distance from each other, on the said lateral walls (2, 2'), for adjusting a placement of the said second centring wall (4) at a predetermined height corresponding to a narrowing site of the neck of the said bottle (20).
  2. Package according to claim 1, also comprising a support pedestal (9) comprising the said base wall (1) and a bottom wall (9b) that is arranged above the said base wall (1), at a third predetermined distance therefrom, and on which the said bottle (20) is placed.
  3. Package according to claim 2 or 3, in which each lateral wall (2, 2') comprises a series of internal prismatic protuberances (10, 10') extending from the lateral wall (2, 2') towards the inside of the said package.
  4. Package according to claim 3, in which the said internal prismatic protuberances (10, 10') have at least one line of contact with the said bottle (20) and form a third wedging device (10, 10').
  5. Package according to claim 3 or 4, in which the internal prismatic protuberances (10, 10') have a triangular cross-section.
  6. Package according to claim 3, in which the said complementary connection elements (7, 7') of the said at least two lateral walls (2, 2') are carried by internal prismatic protuberances (10, 10') extending from each lateral wall towards the outside of the said package.
  7. Package according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the said fixing means (7, 7', 8, 8') comprise a box (23) for packing or presenting one or more packages according to one of claims 1 to 6, which envelopes and holds the said at least two opposite lateral walls (2, 2') in their folded-upward position.
  8. Blank for producing by folding a package according to one of claims 1 to 7, comprising:
    - a base wall section (1) comprising at least four sides opposite in pairs,
    - at least a first (2) and second (2') lateral wall section (2, 2') opposite each other and articulated by a bottom edge on a first side and on a second side opposite to the said first side of the said base wall (1) and designed to be folded upwards and to form two lateral walls (2, 2') of the said package, and
    - at least a first and second section (3, 4) for wedging the said bottle (20) connected to a section of the said blank in an articulated and/or detachable fashion,
    characterised in that the said first wedging section (3) comprises a wall section (3b) provided with an opening (5) designed to house a bottle bottom and in that the said second wedging section (4) comprises an orifice (6) provided for housing the neck of a bottle as well as connection means (8, 8'), the said first and second lateral wall sections (2, 2') comprising connection elements (7, 7') complementary to the connection elements (8 and 8'), the said complementary connection elements (7, 7') being disposed at a predetermined distance from each other in order to adjust a distance at which the second centring wall section (4) will be disposed with respect to the said base wall section (1) when the package is in the assembled position.
