Claims (5)
- Internal combustion engine having a cylinder crankcase (10), having a mechanically driven compressor (12) for compressing charge air, having a compressor bracket (14), which is attached to the side of the cylinder crankcase (10), for the compressor (12), characterized in that a pressure damper (16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28) is integrated in the compressor bracket (14), and said pressure damper (16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28) has an air-guiding insert part (26).
- Internal combustion engine according to Claim 1, characterized in that the pressure damper has a bracket part (36) and has a damper cover (28) which is fastened to the bracket part (36), with the insert part (26) being arranged between the bracket part (36) and the damper part (28).
- Internal combustion engine according to Claim 2, characterized in that the bracket part (36) is fastened to the cylinder crankcase (10) and the compressor (12) is fastened to the bracket part (36).
- Internal combustion engine according to Claim 2, characterized in that the compressor (12) and bracket part (36) are jointly fastened to the cylinder crankcase (10) by means of at least one fastening device (40) which extends through both the compressor (12) and also the bracket part (36).
- Internal combustion engine according to Claim 2, characterized in that the damper cover (28) is formed in one piece with the cylinder crankcase (10).
