  8. Length-adjustable pole according to Claim 7, characterized in that part of the length of the inner tube (11) is covered by the pole handle (16).
  9. Length-adjustable pole according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the adjusting/securing mechanism (20) is provided with a spreading element (23) on the inner tube (11), it being possible for the spreading element to be moved radially by means of a spreading cone (27).
  10. Length-adjustable pole according to Claim 9, characterized in that the spreading cone can be moved along a threading and the spreading element is formed by a clamping sleeve which is provided with an inner cone and can be moved axially within narrow limits.
