Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine flachbauende Mobilfunkantenne gemäß den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffes des Patentanspruchs 1.The invention relates to a flat-construction mobile radio antenna according to the features of the preamble of
Mobile radio antennas for receiving and / or transmitting high-frequency signals of certain services for vehicles are known. A roof antenna manufactured by the applicant has a base plate which is produced by casting. This base plate receives one or more radiators for transmitting and / or receiving high-frequency signals and is inserted via a downwardly directed threaded pin in an opening of the vehicle roof and screwed there. To protect the spotlights and also for aerodynamic reasons, a protective cover made of plastic is provided which extends over the radiator. It is for optical and aerodynamic reasons of disadvantage that this plastic hood is directed several centimeters in height. This is partly also necessary so that the radiators, which must have a certain spatial extent for transmitting and / or receiving the high-frequency signals, even fit under the cover.
The invention is therefore based on the object to provide a mobile radio antenna for a vehicle for receiving and / or transmitting high-frequency signals, which at least retains the previously achieved transmission and / or reception properties or is improved to that effect, at the same time particularly flat design, especially at a height of ≤ 20 mm.
This object is solved by the features of
In accordance with the invention, the at least one antenna element for receiving and / or transmitting high-frequency signals is oval or semi-oval-shaped. The oval antenna element preferably extends over almost the entire base area of the mobile radio antenna, while the semi-oval-shaped antenna element extends approximately over one half of the base area of the mobile radio antenna. This form has, as has surprisingly been found, the advantage that signals of a few hundred megahertz or a few gigahertz can be easily sent and / or received, while the plane-parallel to a base of the mobile antenna arranged oval or semi-oval shaped antenna element a particularly flat-built mobile radio antenna results. For this purpose, the at least one antenna element is arranged at a certain distance plane-parallel to the mass element of the mobile radio antenna.
In a further embodiment of the invention, another, likewise oval or semi-oval-shaped antenna element is arranged in the same plane in the first antenna element, wherein a slot is present between the two antenna elements. Due to the different planar extent and shape of the two antenna elements, it is possible to transmit and / or receive high-frequency signals in different frequency ranges while maintaining the flat design of the mobile radio antenna. Thus, the first antenna element which is arranged around the further antenna element, for example, for the reception of high-frequency signals in the range of 900 megahertz is formed. Thus, for example, mobile services such as AMPS or GSM 900 can be received. The further antenna element arranged within the first antenna element is designed such that it is suitable, for example, for high-frequency signals in the frequency range around 1800 to 2200 megahertz. This can be used to receive mobile services, such as GSM 1800, PCS 1900 and UMTS. The above list is exemplary only and not exhaustive.
Overall, the two oval or semi-oval antenna elements, which are nested and arranged in the same plane planparallel (coplanar) to the ground plane (mass element) of the mobile antenna, the advantage that the high-frequency signals of different services can be sent and / or received at the same time flat construction (preferably a height ≤ 20 mm) is given.
Further embodiments of the mobile radio antenna according to the invention are specified in the subclaims, described below and explained with reference to the figure.
The figure shows as part of a mobile radio antenna according to the invention for use in or on vehicles a
Plane-parallel (coplanar) to the surface-shaped base plate (mass element 1), two
In an angled end region of the two
The two
After making the "inner life" of the mobile radio antenna, as shown in the figure, the cable is attached and this unit is inserted into a housing and the housing is closed. Thereafter, the finished mobile antenna is available for use in a vehicle or for attachment to a vehicle. The planar extent of the
It is also conceivable to produce the base plate also from a die-cast. It is also conceivable that instead of a plastic housing, in particular instead of the lower part, with which the antenna is fastened to the vehicle component, a part of the housing is made of a base plate of a die-cast (for example brass) or in a stamping bending process. Then, this base plate is plane-parallel (coplanar) to the mass element, in particular the circuit board arranged. The attachment is then for example via a screw (in particular by means of a threaded pin on the base plate) or an adhesive bond (in particular a two-sided adhesive film between the underside of the housing of the antenna and the surface of the vehicle component.
