Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a reflector lamp according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
The reflector lamp according to the invention can be used in principle in a variety of different optical applications as a light source. However, the main field of application of the reflector lamp is likely to lie in the medical and projection technology, for example in endoscopes or projectors.
Such reflector lamps are described for example on the Internet domain www.osram.de under the product name "XBO ® R". These conventional reflector lamps consist essentially of an XBO® high-pressure discharge lamp, which is used as a built-in lamp in a reflector made of pressed glass and partially surrounded by the reflector. In addition to the visible part of the light spectrum, such high-pressure discharge lamps also emit unwanted UV and IR radiation, which is particularly troublesome for optical applications in which only the visible light is used, for example in endoscopy or projection technology, because due to the IR radiation components Overheating or through the UV radiation for premature aging of optical components of the application device can come. Furthermore, it is disadvantageous that such reflector lamps with a high internal pressure (about 5 to 15 bar) standing lamp vessel in the case of Bursting of the lamp vessel constitute a hazard to persons and equipment by exiting splinters and particles.
In order to reduce the IR radiation components, it is known from the general state of the art to provide the reflectors of such reflector lamps with cold-light mirroring, which transmits part of the IR radiation emitted by the high-pressure discharge lamp, so that these unwanted light spectra do not affect the optical components of the application device to reach. Furthermore, it is known to form the discharge vessel of such high-pressure discharge lamps made of doped quartz glass in order to absorb the UV radiation components in the short-wave UV range (UVC range) of approximately 250 to 100 nm and below. However, it has been shown that the IR and UV radiation components emitted by the reflector lamp, in particular for high-quality optical applications, are still too high, so that it is necessary to further incorporate the UV / IR radiation by incorporating additional optical filter disks in the application device in order to supply behind it optical components, such as optical fibers or optical integrators only with the desired light spectra in the visible wavelength range. Although these solutions enable efficient decoupling of the IR radiation spectrum and filtering out of the UV component, they are complex and cost-intensive due to the filter disks additionally required in the application device.
The invention has for its object to provide a reflector lamp, in which compared to conventional solutions a decoupling or filtering out the unwanted IR and UV spectra is made possible with minimal device-technical complexity.
This object is achieved by a reflector lamp with the combination of features of claim 1. Particularly advantageous embodiments of the invention are described in the dependent claims.
The reflector lamp according to the invention has an integral lamp, in particular a high-pressure discharge lamp, which is at least partially surrounded by a reflector, wherein the reflector is connected via a reflector neck with a base and has a light exit opening. According to the invention, the light exit opening of the reflector is at least partially covered indirectly or directly by a cover plate arrangement integrated in the reflector lamp, which has an optical spectral filter which absorbs or reflects unwanted light spectra. Due to the cover plate arrangement with optical spectral filter, this solution makes it possible to decouple or filter out the unwanted light spectra with a high degree of transmission for light in the visible wavelength range. By a suitable choice of the cover plate arrangement, it is possible to decouple or filter out the IR radiation component and / or the UV component. As a result, it is possible to dispense with additional filter disks in the beam path of the application apparatus compared to the general state of the art. Furthermore, in the case of bursting of the lamp vessel, persons and equipment are protected from splinters and particles by the cover plate arrangement.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the cover plate arrangement has a low transmission for light in the ultraviolet wavelength range and / or in the infrared wavelength range. As a result, the unwanted UV and / or IR radiation components for optical applications in which the visible light is essentially filtered out by the cover plate arrangement and prevents overheating of the optical components of the application device by IR radiation components and premature aging by UV radiation.
The cover disk arrangement preferably consists of at least one filter disk of coated or doped glass. By using a filter disk of coated or doped glass, a high transmission in the visible wavelength range with good heat-light separation and UV filtering can be achieved. Filter discs made of doped glass are characterized by a selective absorption in a defined optical wavelength range, for example in the IR range (heat protection glasses).
Preferably, the cover disc assembly has a substantially circular cross-section.
In one embodiment of the invention, the cover plate assembly has at least one glass without filter effect. The additional glass pane, the splinter protection effect of the cover plate assembly can be further improved and the filter disc are protected from damage from the outside.
It has proven to be particularly advantageous if the cover disk arrangement has an interference filter coating with a plurality of optically low-refractive and optically high-refractive-index layers. Due to the layer design of the interference filter coating, interference effects result in high transmission in the visible light range while reflecting unwanted light spectra.
The cover plate assembly is preferably optimized such that a filter edge in the ultraviolet spectral range, in particular in a wavelength range of 360 to 400 nm and / or a filter edge in the transition region from the visible spectral range in the infrared spectral range, in particular in a wavelength range of 700 to 800 nm. Due to the steep filter edges, the unwanted UV / IR light spectra are extinguished with improved transmission of light in the visible wavelength range.
In one embodiment of the invention, the cover plate assembly is at least partially inserted into a receptacle of the reflector. As a result, a compact design of the reflector lamp is made possible.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment, the cover plate assembly is connected via a filter holder with the reflector.
Preferably, the filter holder is a front cap, the circumference is substantially adapted to the contour of the reflector.
The cover plate assembly is arranged in an embodiment of the invention on an end face of the filter holder or at least partially inserted into a mounting portion of the front cap. It has proven to be particularly advantageous if a cylinder jacket-shaped attachment portion of the filter holder is reduced light-outlet side to a receiving portion for the cover plate assembly. Due to the reduced end face of the receiving portion, the cover plate assembly can be reduced in compact design of the reflector lamp and thereby the splinter protection effect can be further improved.
Preferably, the filter holder via a substantially annular flange frontally to the reflector in abutment can be brought. For positioning and centering of the filter holder on the reflector of the filter holder preferably has an annular centering projection which engages in the light exit opening of the reflector.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the cover plate assembly is connected to the filter holder or the reflector and / or the filter holder with the reflector via holding elements, in particular retaining tabs.
According to a further embodiment, the cover plate assembly with the filter holder or the reflector and / or the filter holder with the reflector via a connecting mass, in particular an adhesive is connected.
As it has proven advantageous to form the filter holder made of a high temperature resistant material, preferably a plastic.
Vorzugsweise ist die Einbaulampe eine Xenon-Hochdruckentladungslampe. Eine derartige Kurzbogen-Entladungslampe ermöglicht eine hohe Leuchtdichte und ein kontinuierliches Spektrum im sichtbaren Bereich bei hohem Farbwiedergabeindex (Ra > 95).Preferably, the integral lamp is a xenon high-pressure discharge lamp. Such a short-arc discharge lamp enables a high luminance and a continuous spectrum in the visible range with a high color rendering index (Ra> 95).
The reflector lamp according to the invention is preferably used in technical scientific apparatuses, in particular in endoscopes.

The invention is explained below on the basis of a reflector lamp with a XBO ® -Hochdruckentladungslampe as built lamp as a light source of endoscopy equipment is used for example in medical technology. However, as already mentioned, the reflector lamp according to the invention is by no means limited to such lamp types and applications.
Figure 1 shows a schematic representation of a reflector lamp 1 according to the invention with a built-in lamp 2, which is partially surrounded by a substantially ellipsoidal reflector 4 made of pressed glass. The reflector 4 is provided on an inner surface 6 with a reflective coating and inserted via a cylindrical reflector neck 8 in a receiving portion 10 of a base 12. The base 12 has a substantially cylindrical base body 14, the lamp side with two diametrically arranged, approximately U-shaped recess 16 is provided. The built-in lamp 2 is mounted axially offset relative to the installation position of the reflector 4 in the base 12, so that a ventilation opening 18 between the built-in lamp 2 and base 12 or base 12 and reflector neck 8 is formed by the means of a fan, not shown, a cooling air flow into the base area the reflector lamp 1 is guided.
In the illustrated embodiment, is used as a built-in lamp 2 is a XBO ® -Hochdruckentladungslampe in short arc technology use. This has a discharge vessel 20 made of quartz glass with an inner space 22 and two diametrically arranged, sealed piston shafts 24, 26, each having a current feedthrough (not shown). In the interior 22 protrude two diametrically arranged, not shown electrodes, which are connected via a Molybdänfolieneinschmelzung each with one of the current feedthroughs and between which forms a gas discharge during lamp operation. In the interior 22 of the discharge vessel 20 an ionizable filling is included, which consists essentially of high purity xenon gas. Such an XBO® high-pressure discharge lamp 2 enables a high luminance of the reflector lamp 1 and a continuous spectrum in the visible spectral range with a high color rendering index (Ra> 95). The electrical connection of XBO ® -Hochdruckentladungslampe 2 to the supply voltage takes place (not shown) at the base-remote electrical feedthrough via a cable through a cable guide in the reflector 4 guided high-voltage line. The current feedthrough of the base near the piston shaft 26 of the discharge vessel 20 is contacted via a high-voltage line (not shown) and led to the base 12 to the outside. The two high-voltage lines are combined outside the reflector lamp 1 in a contact plug and can be connected via this with an electronic ignition and operating system (not shown).
According to the invention, a light exit opening 28 of the reflector 4 is covered by a cover plate arrangement 30 which has an optical spectral filter which absorbs or reflects unwanted light spectra. This solution allows due to the cover plate assembly 30 with optical spectral filter almost complete reflection or absorption of the unwanted light spectra, wherein the visible light component by the cover plate assembly 30 undergoes substantially no attenuation. By a suitable choice of the cover plate assembly 30, it is possible depending on the desired field of application of the reflector lamp 1 to filter out the IR radiation component and / or the UV radiation component of the emitted light spectrum of the high-pressure discharge lamp 2. As a result, additional filter disks in the optical application device (not shown), for example an endoscope, can be dispensed with in comparison to the general state of the art. According to Figure 1, the cover plate assembly 30 is connected via a substantially cylindrical jacket-shaped filter holder 32 made of high temperature resistant plastic with the reflector 4, wherein the filter holder 32 is formed as peripherally adapted to the contour of the reflector 4 front cap 34. The front cap 34 is brought into abutment with the reflector 4 via an annular flange 36 and positioned via an annular centering projection 38 with respect to the light exit opening 28. About the flange 36, the reflector lamp 1 can be brought into abutment with an optical application device, not shown. The front cap 34 is in the illustrated reflector lamp 1 via retaining elements, such as retaining tabs (not shown) connected to the reflector 4. To receive the cover plate assembly 30, an end face 40 of the front cap 34 is reduced in the direction of the light exit to a conical-shaped receptacle section 42, which merges into a cylinder jacket-shaped attachment section 44 on the base side. Due to the reduced end face 40 of the receiving portion 42, the cover plate assembly 30 can be reduced in compact design of the reflector lamp 1 and thereby the splinter protection effect can be improved.
The cover plate assembly 30 is disposed on the end face 40 of the front cap 34 and fastened via retaining elements, such as retaining tabs on the front cap (not shown).
In an embodiment of the reflector lamp 1, not shown, the cover plate assembly 30 is at least partially inserted into a receptacle of the front cap. In a further variant of the reflector lamp. 1 the cover plate assembly 30 is connected to the front cap 34 and / or the front cap 34 to the reflector 4 via an adhesive.
In the illustrated embodiment of the reflector lamp 1, the cover plate assembly 30 consists of a single, provided with a non-illustrated interference filter coating circular filter disk 48 made of glass. The layer structure of the interference filter consists of several optically low-refractive and optically high-refractive layers, which are applied alternately, for example, in sputtering technique on the filter disk 48. Due to the layer design of the interference filter coating, a high transmittance for light in the visible wavelength range is achieved with good IR and UV filtering.
In an alternative embodiment, the filter disk 48 is additionally covered on the light exit side by a glass pane without filter effect. As a result, the splinter protection effect of the filter disk 48 can be further improved and protected from damage from the outside.
Aufgrund des steilen Verlaufs der Kurve 52 im Bereich der Filterkanten 54, 56 werden die ungewünschten UV-/IR-Lichtspektren bei guter Transmission von Licht im sichtbaren Wellenlängenbereich herausgefiltert bzw. ausgekoppelt.2 shows the transmission behavior of the reflector lamp 1 according to the invention with cover disk 30 (see Figure 1) by a curve 52 and the transmission behavior of a conventional reflector lamp of the type is "XBO ® -R 300W / 60 C OFR" shown by a dash-dotted lines curve 52nd According to the curve 52, the cover plate assembly 30 of the reflector lamp 1 according to the invention is designed such that unwanted ultraviolet and infrared wavelength ranges compared to the curve 52 of the conventional reflector lamp in a wavelength range below 380 nm and above 780 nm are mostly filtered out and a high transmittance for light in the visible wavelength range from 380 to 780 nm is achieved. As a result, the unwanted UV and IR radiation components are essentially filtered out for optical applications in which the visible light is used and prevents overheating of the optical components in the beam path by IR radiation components and their premature aging by UV radiation. According to Figure 2, the cover plate assembly 30 is optimized so that a filter edge 54 in the ultraviolet spectral range at a wavelength of about 390 nm and a filter edge 56 is in the transition region from the visible to the infrared spectral range at a wavelength of about 750 nm. Due to the steep course of the curve 52 in the region of the filter edges 54, 56, the unwanted UV / IR light spectra are filtered out or coupled out with good transmission of light in the visible wavelength range.
The reflector lamp 1 according to the invention is not limited to the described embodiment with filter holder 32, but the cover plate assembly 30 can be used in reflector lamps 1 with fully installed in the reflector 4 built-in lamps 2 directly into a receptacle of the reflector 4. Essential to the invention is that the light exit opening 28 of the reflector 4 of the reflector lamp 1 is at least partially covered indirectly or directly by the cover plate assembly 30, and this has an optical spectral filter that absorbs or reflects unwanted light spectra.
Disclosed is a reflector lamp 1, with a built-in lamp 2, in particular a high-pressure discharge lamp, which is at least partially surrounded by a reflector 4, wherein the reflector 4 is connected via a reflector neck 8 with a base 12 and has a light exit opening 28. According to the invention, the light exit opening 28 of the reflector 4 is indirectly or directly covered at least in sections by a cover plate arrangement 30 which has an optical spectral filter which absorbs or reflects unwanted light spectra.
