Abstract

La présente invention a trait à une lampe à décharge à vapeur de mercure basse pression compacte pour l'éclairage d'un dispositif d'affichage comportant une partie de lampe à deux formes comprenant des première, deuxième et troisième portions de forme tubulaire (11, 12, 13). Les deuxième et troisième portions de forme tubulaire sont disposées en ligne l'une avec l'autre et le long de la première portion de forme tubulaire. Une première portion d'extrémité (11a) de la première portion de forme tubulaire et une première portion d'extrémité (12a) de la deuxième portion de forme tubulaire sont interconnectées via un premier moyen d'interconnexion de forme tubulaire (14). Une deuxième portion d'extrémité (11b) de la première portion de forme tubulaire et une première portion d'extrémité (13a) de la troisième portion de forme tubulaire sont interconnectées via un deuxième moyen d'interconnexion de forme tubulaire. Une deuxième portion d'extrémité (12b) de la deuxième portion de forme tubulaire et une deuxième portion d'extrémité (13b) de la troisième portion de forme tubulaire sont en regard l'une de l'autre. Des première et deuxième électrodes (22, 23) s'étendant en une direction radiale sont prévues dans le voisinage de la deuxième portion d'extrémité de la deuxième portion de forme tubulaire ou de la troisième portion de forme tubulaire, respectivement.
