Description

The invention relates to Schwimmhilfsvorrichungen or swimming aids, which can be adapted to the body size flexible over many clothing sizes. The Schwimmhilfsvorrichung or buoyancy aid according to the invention can be carried out in weight light, highly elastic form and adjusted in register to the desired body size of the user.

To attach to the body are mainly swimming aids in use, which consist of film with air chambers. Mention should be made in this connection of the widespread "water wings", which are worn on the upper arm, find. In such embodiment, the carrying capacity is given in the water, but an undisturbed movement is severely limited. Known swimming aid devices, which are created with straps, have only buoyancy elements on the back, as from DE 200 05 183 U1 evident. Security and functionality are limited. A buoyancy aid with buoyancy elements around the chest area and around the arms is in the DE 3239929 C2 described.

Furthermore, swimsuits combined with plug-in styrofoam or trapped air chambers are known - see also US 5413485A -, which, however, only fit according to the size of the swimsuit and are mainly worn only by girls.

For the purpose of sailing / surfing vest with distribution of the force load describes the US 4545773A a device in which a hook allows a detachable connection with a part of the sail / surfboard and belts or belts, which are connected on the one hand with the hook and on the other hand with hip and shoulder parts of the sailing / surfing vest, allow a distribution of the force load.

The object of the invention is to provide the user or wearer of the swimming aid device sufficient buoyancy and safety in the water with extensive freedom of movement, wearing comfort and flexibility. This object is achieved according to the invention with the swimming aid device defined in claim 1. Preferred embodiments are defined in the subclaims.

According to the invention, the swimming aid can be adapted to the respective body exactly.

The invention, so to speak, creates uni-sizes, that is to say, owing to the very great variability of the adjustment possibilities in the swimming-aid device, depending on the design of children, e.g. sizes 92 to 122 and in adults e.g. sizes 48 to 62 (each German size standard, in adults according to M to XL) are covered with a single size of the swimming aid device. In children, this buoyancy aid "grows" so practically.

The swimming aid according to the invention has significant advantages over the prior art, which are not apparent from the conventional swimming aid devices. Thus, the swimming aid according to the invention allows a variable adjustability of the size, but at the same time ensures safety for the user in use, and improves the functionality. The first releasable closure means is for presetting the variable size. The embodiment of the invention allows that the buoyancy and / or the ability to wear the swimming aid on the body of the user advantageously not lost by the opening or releasing the second closure means. Regardless of the first closure means, ie without having to solve this, the second closure means by the user while wearing, possibly completely, be solved and separated. Thus, the second, releasable closure means, depending on the embodiment, the possibility to allow a comfortable and quick donning and undressing of the swimming aid device after the application, or the possibility of an additional safeguard against the removal of the swimming aid device. The second, releasable closure means can eg for additional opening of the variable-size part, which is explained in more detail below the example of the embodiment in the form of a vest, or for attaching the buoyancy element and preferably an additional buoyancy element, but in the cases the user himself accessible , complete release of the second closure means without altering the preset body size adjustment can be effected. This significantly increases safety and functionality.

The features of the invention provide further significant advantages: The features of claims 1 and 2 allow each improved versions with simple and safe, variable presetting of height adjustment, while at the same time a very convenient and quick donning and undressing of the swimming aid device is possible. The features of claim 4 improve the accuracy of fit of the swimming aid as a whole, while still a comfortable and fast on and off is possible. The features of claim 5 further improve functionality in a simple and efficient manner. The features of claim 6 cause a particularly suitable swimming aid device with high comfort. The embodiments defined in claims 7 and 8 improve or extend the functionality.

The swimming aid according to the invention can be used in children and adults alike.

For children, this buoyancy aid is ideal for learning to swim. Also useful are variants with the possibility of buoyancy regulation. Thus, initially for the sense of security, to get used to the water and to practice the swimming movements of the total buoyancy. With learning progress of the child can you reduce the buoyancy, by reducing the volume and / or the material of the buoyancy element (the buoyancy elements) of the swimming aid device, and so go to the free swimming.

Generally, this invention can be worn for the safety of children during activities on and in the water.

Beschreibung bevorzugter Ausführungsformen:Description of preferred embodiments: Ausführungsform zum ErläuterungEmbodiment for explanation

For the manufacture of the swimming aid, buoyant material may be closed-cell foamed sheets of varying thickness, elasticity and weight. All suitable buoyant materials can be used, so floating granules, flakes and balls can be used for example of polystyrene and cork. Furthermore, chambers made of water and airtight material filled with air can ensure buoyancy. From the plate material 6 and 7 ( Fig. 3 to 5 ) can also be cut shapes, such as animals, heads and figures, which can be colored, for example, through-dyed, printed, coated and pasted. Buoyancy materials, which are surrounded by fabric, can be designed with imprints, patches, embroidery, stickers and Aufbüglern various motives and advertising.

Form foams make it possible to use figurative and semi-plastic objects, which can also be colored, as buoyancy elements.

In a reference example, as a carrier belt 1 ( Fig. 1-5 . 6a and 6b ) a closed-cell polyethylene foam (eg 10 mm thick), sewn into fabric used. By means of Velcro 20 and 21 ( Fig. 6a and 6b )) is a stepless adjustment possible on the body. The attachments are sewn of fabric and filled with closed-cell foam, such as polyethylene or polyurethane foam. The filling can consist of several plates until the desired buoyancy is achieved. The plates are loosely inserted, which causes greater elasticity. The back cushions 3 ( Fig. 2 . 6e and 6f ) are mounted with belt loops 5 on the carrier belt 1 and the Front cushion 2 ( Fig. 1 . 6c and 6d ) by means of Velcro tape 23, 24 ( Fig. 6c and 6d ) attached. The size of the pillows is sized so that they give sufficient buoyancy.

At the in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 general and in Fig. 6a-6f shown in parts swimming aid device with carrier belt and buoyancy elements for children breast and back cushions made of fabric are sewn and filled with closed-cell foam panels. To close the carrier belt Velcro straps are attached as the first closure means at various points of the Trägergurtenden. Thus, at the first end of the carrier belt, only a Velcro tape 20 is attached externally, which hooks when closing in the inside attached Velcro tape 21 of the second end of the carrier belt. For attachment of the breast pad 2 on the closure point of the carrier belt is attached as a second closure means in addition to the second end outside 22, and the breast pad inside 23, a Velcro tape. The breast pad 2 is over 2 velcro straps (4 in Fig. 1 , 19 in Fig. 6a ), which are each mounted in an area in front of the wearer belt ends, fixed once more (23 and 24 in Fig. 6c and 6d ).

At the in 3 and 4 shown embodiment - in addition to the variable size presetting of the carrier belt 1 with the first closure means - the connection with the carrier belt by means of the second closure means, in the form of recesses in the buoyancy element 6.7 and each solid Velcro 8 on the front buoyancy element 6 or loops is performed on the rear buoyancy element 7. Fig. 5 shows a further embodiment in horizontal cross section, wherein a Velcro strip 4 as a second closure means not as in Fig. 3 is struck by a recess in the front buoyancy element, but on the side surface of the front buoyancy element 6 along forward. With the refinements of Fig. 3 and Fig. 5 Examples are shown, after which the first closure on the carrier belt 1 is closed again by the second closure and thus further secured. The serving as a buoyancy element body 6 thus sits securely on the variable closure.

The material for the carrier belt is widely variable. For example, the belt may be formed of foam sewn in fabric as described, but may also be formed only of fabric materials, elastic band, or commercially available straps. Width and thickness can also be selected as needed. A suitable width is, for example, 1 to 15 cm, preferably 2 to 7.5 cm and especially 3 to 5 cm. A suitable thickness is, for example, 0.5 mm to 2 cm, preferably 2 mm to 1 cm.

Erfingungsgemäße Ausführungsform:Embodiment according to the invention:

In one embodiment of the invention, the Schwimmhilfsvorrichtung is made west-shaped fabric. The fabric is combined with a thin buoyancy material (eg approx. 3-5 mm), eg by sewing or gluing, which has a positive effect on the appearance in particular. The individual parts are then sewn together, filled with buoyant material (eg closed-cell polyethylene or polyurethane foam boards, eg approx. 10 mm thick) and closed. The buoyant material fill may consist of several plates until the desired buoyancy is achieved. The plates are loosely inserted, which causes greater elasticity. Material properties of the plates such as volume, type of material and porosity are such that sufficient buoyancy is imparted. In the chest area and in the upper back area, the filling is formed stronger, which corresponds to the body weight proportions and the desired behavior in the water better. A continuous adjustment on the body is possible by means of Velcro on the sides and in the shoulder area. The lateral adjustments are made by means of widely overlapping tabs 10 (FIG. Fig. 7b and 8a ) on which Velcro or Velcro 15,17 ( Fig. 9a-9c ) are sewn on. The adjustment in the shoulder area by means of another tab 11 and Velcro 16,18 ( Fig. 7b . 9a-9c ) is used to adapt to the respective upper arm or the shoulder, so that the armhole is always exactly matching. This adjustment also has the purpose to prevent the resulting from the buoyancy in the water effect of the high slide of the swimming aid device on the body. By accurately fitting the shoulder straps, the side flaps are always directly under the armpits, which prevents slipping up in the water. A comfortable and quick donning and doffing is possible with an additional closure, such as zipper or other reclosable closure means such as a click closure. Thus, a user-user can leave the adjustment of the Velcro and tighten the swimming aid like a vest; you only have to open and Close the closure means (here second in this embodiment), eg the zipper 14 (FIG. Fig. 7a . 9b ) actuate.

If the west-shaped embodiment of the swimming aid device according to the invention is set once for a certain person, then in future this person will no longer need to make any further adjustments. The buoyancy aid is then put on and taken off just like a vest. The on and off as well as the adjustment of the buoyancy aid to the respective body size can be handled quickly and safely.

Das Endprodukt sollte hautverträglich und gesundheitlich unbedenklich seinThe end product should be skin-friendly and harmless to health
