Abstract

Die Erfindung richtet sich auf eine Vorrichtung (10) zum Behandeln, insbesondere Trocknen, einer Substratbahn (60). Der erfindungsgemäße Konvektionstrockner umfasst dabei ein Trageelement (20), über das die Substratbahn (60) läuft. Mit diesem ist wenigstens ein Leitblech (40) verbunden, das an einem Ende (41) von der Substratbahn (60) wegführt. Zwischen dieser Bahn (60) und dem Trageelement (20) fließt ein Gasstrom (30), der in einem ersten Bereich (31) die Substratbahn (60) trägt. In einem zweiten Bereich (32) folgt der Gasstrom (30) dem Verlauf des Leitbleches (41) und zieht aufgrund des Coanda-Effektes die Substratbahn (60) zum Trageelement (20) hin (Fig. 1).

The invention is directed to a device (10) for treating, in particular drying, a substrate web (60). The convection dryer according to the invention comprises a support element (20), over which the substrate web (60) runs. Between this web (60) and the carrying element (20) flows a gas stream (30) which carries the substrate web (60) in a first region (31). In a second region (32), the gas flow (30) follows the course of the guide plate (41) and pulls the substrate web (60) towards the carrying element (20) due to the Coanda effect (FIG. 1).
