  1. An electromechanical switch such as a miniature circuit breaker or a residual-current circuit breaker, comprising at least one fixed contact (10) and at least one movable contact (6) which cooperates with the same and which is held in a swiveling manner on an actuating shaft (4) moving at least one cam (13) and is biased by means of a spring (18) in the direction of the closing position of the respectively cooperating contacts (10, 6), with the movable contact (6) resting in a position of the actuating shaft (4) corresponding to the opened position of the cooperating contacts (10, 6) on a stop (20) of the actuating shaft (4), which shaft can be twisted by means of an actuating lever (3), and with the movable contact (6) further having an extension (15) which cooperates with an inhibiting part (8) which is held in a swivelable manner and inhibits the movement of the movable contact (6) over a predetermined rotational angle of the actuating shaft (4) and after exceeding a predetermined rotational angle of the actuating shaft (4) releases the movable contact (6), with the inhibiting part (8) being held in a swivelable manner on an axis (7) extending parallel to the actuating shaft (4) and being biased against its inhibiting position, and with the inhibiting part (8) being formed both with a section (14) inhibiting the movement of the movable contact (6) over the predetermined rotational angle of the actuating shaft (4) as well as with a section (12) controllable with a cam (13) moved by the actuating shaft (4), and with the switch comprising at least two breaker gaps each consisting of a movable and an associated fixed contact, characterized in that each movable contact is associated with an inhibiting part (8) and that the inhibiting parts (8) can be swiveled independent of each other about the axis (7) extending parallel to the actuating shaft (4).
  2. A switch according to claim 1, characterized in that the inhibiting part (8) is arranged as a lever-like component, with a swivel axis being arranged on its one end and on its other end both the section (14) inhibiting the movement of the movable contact (6) over the predetermined rotational angle of the actuating shaft (4) as well as the section (12) controllable by the cam (13) moved by the actuating shaft (4).
  3. A switch according to claim 2, characterized in that the other end of the lever-like component is bent in the form of a hook (14) for inhibiting the contact movement on the one hand and is arranged on the other hand for control by the cam (3) in the form of a control surface (12).
