Abstract

Eine Trennwand, insbesondere Duschtrennwand, enthält ein feststehendes Seitenelement (2, 4), ein mit dem Seitenelement verbundenes oberes Führungsprofil (12) und wenigstens ein in dem oberen Führungsprofil (12) geführtes und/oder aufgehängtes sowie in diesem mittels wenigstens eines Führungskörpers (54) verschiebbares Türelement (8, 10), zum Absperren oder Freigeben eines Durchgangs (6) der Trennwand, wobei das Seitenelement (2, 4) eine dem Durchgang (6) zugewandte und im Wesentlichen vertikale Seitenkante (40) aufweist. Die Trennwand soll mit einem geringen konstruktiven Aufwand dahingehend weiter gebildet werden, dass eine verbesserte Ausnutzung des Innenraumes bei geringem Bauvolumen erreicht wird und ein geringer Fertigungsaufwand und Montageaufwand erforderlich sind. Hierzu wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Türelement (8, 10) mit seinem oberen Rand (20, 22) vor dem oberen Führungsprofil (12) angeordnet ist, dass zwischen dem Bereich der vertikalen Seitenkante (40) des Seitenelements (2) und dem oberen Führungsprofil (12) ein Spalt (42) derart vorgesehen ist, dass das Türelement (8, 10) mit seinem oberen Rand (20, 22) durch diesen Spalt (42) hindurch schiebbar ist, und dass im Bereich der vertikalen Seitenkante (40) des Seitenelements (2, 4) ein mit dem oberen Führungsprofil (12) verbundener Träger (30) angeordnet ist, mit welchem der Spalt (42) überbrückt wird.
