Abstract
The invention relates to a container closure comprising a tubular-shaped sealing stopper which can be guided into a pouring passage of a container, said sealing stopper comprising at least one pair of axially distanced, annular shaped sealing projections which protrude in a radial manner towards the outside and which are arranged on the outer periphery thereof. The sealing projections are formed by the caps of a sawtooth-type profile on the external peripheral surface of the sealing stopper. Sections of the profile connecting adjacent caps together are inclined in an inward direction at an angle α in relation to a plane which is tangent to the caps. The angle opens out in the direction counter to the free end of the sealing stopper and has a ratio α : d which is between 1.0 and approximately 20, preferably approximately 1.0 and 8.0, at the most 2.0 and 5.5, whereby d = thickness measurement [mm] of the wall of the sealing stopper on the related cap.

Stopfen mit ringförmigen Dichtvorsprüngen aus einem Kunststoffmaterial sind ebenfalls bekannt (DE-U-7329838) und kommen beispielsweise zum Einsatz zum Verschließen von unter Druck stehenden Flaschen für Schaumweine zum Einsatz. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Behälterverschluss der gattungsgemäßen Art zu schaffen, bei dem der Dichtstopfen eine verbesserte Abdichtung bewirkt, ohne dass dadurch die Montage und Demontage des Behälterverschlusses sowie dessen Fertigung durch Spritzgießen gegenüber einem bekannten Behälterverschluss mit Dichtkonus wesentlich beeinträchtigt werden.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch die Merkmale gemäß dem kennzeichnenden Teil des Anspruches 1 gelöst. Ein Merkmal der Erfindung ist, dass die ringförmigen Dichtvorsprünge durch die Kuppen einer sagezahnartigen Profilierung des äußeren Umfangs des Dichtstopfens gebildet sind. Diese Profilierung lässt sich problemlos und in einem Arbeitsschritt beim Spritzgießen des Behälterverschlusses ausbilden. Ein weiteres Merkmal ist, dass die benachbarte Kuppen miteinander verbindenden Abschnitte der Profilierung unter einem bestimmten Winkel nach innen geneigt sind. Dabei steht der Winkel in einem bestimmten Verhältnisbereich umgekehrt proportional zur Dicke der Wandung des Dichtstopfens. Damit wird erreicht, dass sich der Behälterverschluss problemlos aus der Spritzgießform entformen lässt, da praktisch keine Hinterschneidungflächen vorliegen. Außerdem erhalten die Kuppen hierdurch eine auf die Formsteifigkeit des Dichtstopfens abgestimmte elastische Nachgiebigkeit, die eine ausreichende hohe Dichtwirkung gewährleistet. Gemäß einer bevorzugten Weiterbildung der Erfindung kann sich ferner die Wandung des Dichtstopfens vom freien Ende aus konisch erweitern, was das Einführen des Dichtstopfens in die Ausgießpassage des Behälters erleichtert.The invention has for its object to provide a container closure of the generic type, in which the sealing plug brings about an improved seal, without the assembly and disassembly of the container closure and its manufacture by injection molding being significantly impaired compared to a known container closure with a sealing cone. Zum grundsätzlichen Aufbau eines Behälterverschlusses, an dem die Erfindung verwirklicht ist, wird auf Fig. 1 verwiesen. In Fig. 1 ist der Behälterverschluss als Schraubkappe ausgebildet und trägt das allgemeine Bezugszeichen 1. Der Behälterverschluss 1 umfasst in bekannter Weise eine End- oder Abschlusswand 2 und eine von deren äußeren Umfang abstehende rohrförmige Umfangswand 3. An der Innenseite der Umfangswand 3 ist ein
