Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Steckverbinder (1) mit zumindest einem in einem vorgefertigten Gehäuse (2) festlegbarem Kontaktpartner (9), der an einem Ende eines elektrischen Leiters (4) angeordnet und mit diesem elektrisch kontaktiert ist, wobei das Gehäuse (2) in dem Bereich, in dem der zumindest eine elektrische Leiter (4) in das Gehäuse (2) hinein geführt ist, mit einer Spritzgussmasse (5) umgebbar ist, wobei erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen ist, dass ein in das vorgefertigte Gehäuse (2) einsetzbarer Riegel (6) vorgesehen ist, welcher ein Eindringen von Spritzgussmasse (5) in einen Kontaktbereich des zumindest einen Kontaktpartners (9) verhindert, wobei dieser Riegel (6) nicht Bestandteil eines Spritzgusswerkzeuges zur Formgebung und Verarbeitung der Spritzgussmasse (5) ist.
