- EP 616 948 discloses an ice-ball bag in which a valve closure is formed on one side and automatically closes with water after the bag has been filled. For this, on the side of the valve, the film for the formation of the bag is folded inwards, so that adjacent to a filling channel inner pockets are formed, which close the filling channel after filling.
- this ice ball bag is disadvantageous, however, that the removal of the ice balls is poorly possible and the individual tearing of the ice balls is relatively expensive. In addition, it may happen that residues of film remain on the ice cubes, which can then enter into a drink.
- EP 927 859 it is proposed in EP 927 859 to provide a spot weld in the interior of the ice bag so that the ice cubes can be collected in an interior of the bag. But even by such a result of spot welding perforation of the ice ball bag is torn and it can cause the above-mentioned problems.

- the ice cubes can be removed from an open area with separate layers in a simple manner, without the film layers are damaged and residual film can stick to the ice cubes.
- the seams in the releasable areas may be made by welding, gluing or other joining techniques such as especially in the packaging sector are known. The possibility of opening the bag by separating the layers handling is much easier.
- the seams in the folded-over area with four layers have a higher strength than the seams in the area with two layers.
- the bag In the folded area, the bag has four layers and the filling channel with the pockets is provided there. If the seams here have a higher strength, it is prevented that when filling the bag, the seams are damaged at the filling channel, which could lead to leaks. Because if the seams are detachably formed, of course, there is also the danger that even when filling the bag, the layers are separated from each other and thus the bag is impaired in its function.
- the seams in the folded area ie where the self-closing valve is arranged, have a higher strength and are not so easy to separate from each other.
- the seams are formed in the region of the filling channel so that the layers are only mutually detachable under damage, so that the holding forces of the seams are greater than the tear strength of the layers.
- the seams are formed by welding the layers.
- the bags can also be produced well in a continuous process.
- the layers of the bag are each constructed in a multi-layered manner, that is to say a layer comprises a different consistency seen over the cross section.
- An inner layer of the layers may be such that a releasable connection is obtained when welding two inner layers.
- “Inner” refers to the inner surface of the bag, wherein in the region of the filling channel, the layers are folded, so that there is then arranged in each case an outer surface of the layer inside.
- an outer surface of the layers is in each case such that a non-detachable connection is produced when two outer layers are welded together.
- the bag with seams, which are on the one hand for separating the layers and opening the bag detached from each other, but remain firmly connected to each other in the region of the filling channel, so that even when filling the bag locations around the filling channel are not damaged.

- a folded side of the layers outside of the filling channel is fixed by seams.
- the sides are fixed within the bag and by the width of the seams and certain tolerances in the length of the folded areas can be compensated.
- the seam on the opposite side of the filling channel is at least partially spaced from an end edge of the layers, so that strips and / or corner portions are formed, which can be easily moved apart by hand. These strips or corner sections can then be pulled apart to open the seams and remove the ice cubes.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a bag for the production of ice cubes, with two layers of plastic film, which are connected on three sides to form a bag with each other via seams arranged at the edge and on a fourth side of a filling channel is formed, wherein in the region of the filling channel, the two layers are each folded inward to form a closed in the filled state of the bag valve, and the interior of the bag is divided over central seams into a plurality of interconnected compartments.
From EP 248 817 a mold for the production of ice balls is known, which may consist of plastic film and has a bag with several partially separate departments. The bag is filled with water and after freezing the water, the inner partitions of the bag can be detached from each other, so that the ice cubes are easier to remove and easily a variety of ice cubes can be processed. However, the ice ball bag shown has the disadvantage that the filling of the water and the closing via terminals is relatively expensive. In addition, the tightness can not be guaranteed safe.
Furthermore, EP 616 948 discloses an ice-ball bag in which a valve closure is formed on one side and automatically closes with water after the bag has been filled. For this, on the side of the valve, the film for the formation of the bag is folded inwards, so that adjacent to a filling channel inner pockets are formed, which close the filling channel after filling. In this ice ball bag is disadvantageous, however, that the removal of the ice balls is poorly possible and the individual tearing of the ice balls is relatively expensive. In addition, it may happen that residues of film remain on the ice cubes, which can then enter into a drink.
For this reason, it is proposed in EP 927 859 to provide a spot weld in the interior of the ice bag so that the ice cubes can be collected in an interior of the bag. But even by such a result of spot welding perforation of the ice ball bag is torn and it can cause the above-mentioned problems.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a bag for the production of ice cubes, which is easy to fill and in which the ice cubes can be easily removed.
This object is achieved with a bag for the production of ice cubes with the features of claim 1.
According to the invention, the bag has a self-closing valve, which is formed by a filling channel, in which the two layers of the plastic film are folded inwards, so that form pockets that close the filling channel in the filled state. This makes it easy to fill the bag. In addition, the two layers are detachable from each other at least at a part of the seams, without the layers are damaged. As a result, the ice cubes can be removed from an open area with separate layers in a simple manner, without the film layers are damaged and residual film can stick to the ice cubes. The seams in the releasable areas may be made by welding, gluing or other joining techniques such as especially in the packaging sector are known. The possibility of opening the bag by separating the layers handling is much easier.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the seams in the folded-over area with four layers have a higher strength than the seams in the area with two layers. In the folded area, the bag has four layers and the filling channel with the pockets is provided there. In this respect, it is advantageous if the seams in the folded area, ie where the self-closing valve is arranged, have a higher strength and are not so easy to separate from each other. Preferably, the seams are formed in the region of the filling channel so that the layers are only mutually detachable under damage, so that the holding forces of the seams are greater than the tear strength of the layers.
For a simple production of the bag, the seams are formed by welding the layers. As a result, the bags can also be produced well in a continuous process.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the layers of the bag are each constructed in a multi-layered manner, that is to say a layer comprises a different consistency seen over the cross section. An inner layer of the layers may be such that a releasable connection is obtained when welding two inner layers. "Inner" refers to the inner surface of the bag, wherein in the region of the filling channel, the layers are folded, so that there is then arranged in each case an outer surface of the layer inside. Preferably, an outer surface of the layers is in each case such that a non-detachable connection is produced when two outer layers are welded together. Thereby can be provided with a single welding step, the bag with seams, which are on the one hand for separating the layers and opening the bag detached from each other, but remain firmly connected to each other in the region of the filling channel, so that even when filling the bag locations around the filling channel are not damaged. A coating on the inner surface and / or the outer surface is used to obtain joints of different strength in a single manufacturing step during welding.
Preferably, the layers are each formed in three layers with a middle carrier layer, an inner layer and an outer layer. In this case, the plastic film of the layers can be coextruded by blow molding or produced as a flat film.
Preferably, a folded side of the layers outside of the filling channel is fixed by seams. As a result, the sides are fixed within the bag and by the width of the seams and certain tolerances in the length of the folded areas can be compensated.
For easy opening of the bag, the seam on the opposite side of the filling channel is at least partially spaced from an end edge of the layers, so that strips and / or corner portions are formed, which can be easily moved apart by hand. These strips or corner sections can then be pulled apart to open the seams and remove the ice cubes.

A bag 1 for making ice cubes comprises two layers of plastic film, for example polyethylene or other film materials. The term "ice cube" or "ice ball" should not be understood strictly geometric but also apply to body, which have elongated, oval, triangular or other shape, which is still referred to in common usage with "ice cubes".
The bag 1 is substantially rectangular and comprises at two
The filling
The filling
The filling
The two film layers are constructed in three layers, wherein a middle carrier layer is coated on the inside by a polymer and also outside a coating is provided. The film can be coextruded by blow molding or produced as a flat film. The film can be made relatively thin and transparent, with instructions for use can be printed. The two layers of the bag 1 may be formed of the same material.
When manufacturing the layers are first folded on the fourth page 5 and then welded. When welding seams 2, 3, 4 and 7 are formed, in each case the inner surface of the layers rest on each other. At these inner surfaces of the material is such that they are solvable after welding, ie the two layers can be pulled apart without the layers are damaged. This facilitates the opening of the bag 1. In the area with the folded layers in the filling
At the opposite side of the filling
Im Übrigen ist der Beutel 1' wie beim ersten Ausführungsbeispiel ausgebildet.FIG. 2 shows a modified embodiment of two bags 1 ', which are connected to each other at their longitudinal sides via a
Die Abteilungen 8 sind wiederum rund ausgebildet.3, the bags 1 "are again connected to one another via a
In the embodiment of a bag 1 "'shown in FIG. 4, the
In the illustrated embodiments, the filling
The shape of the
