Abstract

Bei einem Abgas-Schalldämpfer mit einem Schalenfalz in Form eines abgewinkelten Umfangsfalzes (900) und mit zwei Außenhalbschalen (200, 300) jeweils mit einem Rand (500) sowie zumindest einer Innenschale (400) mit einem flachen Rand (600), wobei die Ränder (500) der Außenhalbschalen (200, 300) außenseitig abgewinkelt und über den Umfangsfalz (900) miteinander verbunden sind und der flache Rand (600) der Innenschale(n) (400) zwischen den Rändern (500) der Außenhalbschalen fest eingeklemmt ist, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, dass die Ränder (500) der Außenhalbschalen (200, 300) flach ausgebildet sind, und dass der flache Rand (600) der Innenschale(n) (400) zwischen den flachen Rändern (500) der Außenhalbschalen nur in einem Teilbereich (T1) des Umfangsfalzes (900) durch den abgewinkelten Umfangsfalz (900) fest eingeklemmt ist.
