Claims (7)
- A device for playback of information about a motor vehicle, comprising a portable transponder unit forming part of a keyless system for access to and/or authorisation to drive the vehicle, the transponder transmitting a code, via a transceiver, to a control unit disposed in the vehicle, wherein access and/or authorisation to drive is granted when the control unit receives a valid code, also comprising a display device disposed in the transponder unit, characterised in that the transponder unit contains a gas sensor (3) and an analytical device, and the analytical device actuates the display unit in order to transmit a warning signal if the measured gas concentration is above a critical value.
- A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the warning signal is optical and/or acoustic.
- A device according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the analytical device can be switched on by a command to transmit the code.
- A device according to claim 3, characterised in that while the measurement is being made the display outputs a signal which differs from the signal after the measurement has been completed.
- A device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the measurement can be made repeatedly during operation of the vehicle.
- A device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the transponder unit sends a message to the vehicle when a warning signal is output.
- A device according to claim 6, characterised in that on receipt of the message, the vehicle remains locked while the transponder unit is delivering a warning signal.
