  5. Profile member according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that it (profile member B) has the following features:
    - the plane formed by the main body (1) of the profile member extends at a right angle to the plane formed by the arm (10),
    - the width of the opening (6) of the ring (4) approximately corresponds with the width of the arm (10).
  6. Profile member according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that it (profile member C) has the following features:
    - the plane formed by the main body (1) of the profile member extends at a right angle to the plane formed by the arm (10),
    - the curve (13) encloses an angle of approximately 270°,
    - the width of the opening (6) of the ring (4) approximately corresponds with the width of the arm (10).
  7. Profile member according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that it (profile member D) has the following features:
    - the plane formed by the main body (1) of the profile member extends at an inclination to the plane formed by the arm (10),
    - the ring (4) is shaped in such a manner that the ring end (5) contacts the inner edge (11) of the arm (10) when the main bodies (1) of two mutually adjacent interconnected profile members extend in alignment.
  8. Profile member according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that it (profile member E) has the following features:
    - the plane formed by the main body (1) of the profile member extends at a right angle to the plane formed by the arm (10),
    - the outer edge (12) of the arm (10) is connected with the circle (8) at the height of its centre point (9),
    - the diameter of the circle (8) is greater than twice the width of the arm (10),
    - the ring (4) is shaped in such a manner that the ring end (5) contacts the inner edge (11) of the arm (10) when the main bodies (1) of two mutually adjacent interconnected profile members extend in alignment.
  9. Profile member according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that it (profile member F) has the following features:
    - the plane formed by the main body (1) of the profile member extends at a right angle to the plane formed by the arm (10),
    - the arm (10) is centrally connected with the circle (8),
    - the ring (4) is shaped in such a manner that the ring end (5) contacts the inner edge (11) of the arm (10) when the main bodies (1) of two mutually adjacent interconnected profile members extend in alignment,
    - a part of the outer edge of the ring (4) protrudes beyond the main body (1) in the direction of the outer side of the profile member.
  10. Profile member according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that it (profile member G) has the following features:
    - the plane formed by the main body (1) of the profile member extends parallel to the plane formed by the arm (10),
    - the ring (4) is shaped in such a manner that the ring end (5) contacts the inner edge (11) of the arm (10) when the main bodies (1) of two mutually adjacent interconnected profile members have a minimum connection angle (w1) which relative to the plane formed by a profile member lies in the range of 0° to -75°.
  11. Profile member according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that it (profile member H) has the following features:
    - the plane formed by the main body (1) of the profile member extends at an inclination relative to the plane formed by the arm (10),
    - the arm (10) is connected with the circle (8) in the centre,
    - the ring (4) is shaped in such a manner that the ring end (5) contacts the inner edge (11) of the arm (10) when one of two adjacent interconnected profile members is rotated as far as a minimum connection angle (w1).
  12. Profile member according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it comprises at least two adjacent webs (16) extending in the direction of the inner side.
  13. Covering, comprising several adjacent profile members, which are connected together in tool-free manner, according to one or more of the preceding claims.
