Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de stocker et de transporter du gaz naturel liquéfié (LNG) dans un réservoir (2). Il se produit dans le réservoir une évaporation du LNG, qui s'écoule vers un compresseur (12), puis jusqu'à un échangeur de chaleur (20). Ledit échangeur de chaleur (20) est alimenté avec un agent de refroidissement qui circule dans un circuit d'installation de refroidissement (26), ce qui induit la condensation d'un composant issu de l'évaporation. Il est prévu, entre le réservoir (2) et le compresseur (12), un échangeur de chaleur supplémentaire (110) qui est, lui aussi, alimenté en agent de refroidissement provenant de l'installation de refroidissement (26) et qui refroidit le produit d'évaporation se dégageant du réservoir (2), pour aller vers le compresseur (12).
