Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Verbindung eines elektrischen Übertragungselements (6) mit einem Kontaktelement (5). Das Übertragungselement (6) weist wenigstens einen elektrischen Leiter (61) auf, der von einer Aderhülle (62) umgeben ist. Das elektrische Übertragungselement (6) und das Kontaktelement (5) werden zur Herstellung einer Verbindung einer Arbeitsstation (2) zugeführt und verbleiben für einen Arbeitsvorgang mit einer bestimmten Verweildauer in der Arbeitsstation (2), bevor sie der Arbeitsstation wieder entnommen werden. In der Arbeitsstation (2) wird die Aderhülle (62) mit wenigstens einem Crimpelement (51) des Kontaktelements (5) vercrimpt und im gleichen Arbeitsvorgang der elektrische Leiter (61) mit einem Kontaktbereich (52) des Kontaktelements (5) verschweißt. Damit kann für beide Arbeitsschritte eine gemeinsame Arbeitsstation (2) verwendet werden, so dass sich eine deutliche Reduzierung einer Zykluszeit für die Herstellung einer Verbindung zwischen dem Übertragungselement (6) und dem Kontaktelement (5) erreichen lässt.
