Abstract

Es wird eine Vorrichtung zum Verbinden des Endstückes einer ersten Materialbahn (2) mit dem Anfangsstück einer zweiten Materialbahn (3) beschrieben, die einen ersten Abrollriemen (4) zum Abrollen der ersten Materialbahn (2), der mittels einer ersten Abrollriemenantriebswalze (5) antreibbar ist, einen zweiten Abrollriemen (6) zum Abrollen der zweiten Materialbahn (3), der mittels einer zweiten Abrollriemenantriebswalze (7) antreibbar ist und eine Spleißeinrichtung (8) mit zwei Prägewalzen (9,10) zum Verprägen des Endstückes mit dem Anfangsstück aufweist, wobei wenigstens eine der Prägewalzen (9,10) mittels einer Spleißantriebswalze (11) antreibbar ist. Diese Vorrichtung soll kostengünstiger, Platz sparender und einfacher ausgebildet werden. Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe wird vorgeschlagen, die erste und die zweite Abrollriemenantriebswalze (5,7) sowie die Spleißantriebswalze (11) mittels eines einzigen Motors (13) antreibbar zu gestalten und zwischen der ersten Abrollriemenantriebswalze (5) und dem ersten Abrollriemen (4), der zweiten Abrollriemenantriebswalze (7) und dem zweiten Abrollriemen (6) sowie der Spleißantriebswalze (11) und der wenigstens einen angetriebenen Prägewalze (9) jeweils eine Kupplung anzuordnen, mittels der die jeweilige Antriebsverbindung wahlweise herstell- oder lösbar ist.
