Description

Die vorliegende Erfindung befaßt sich mit einem Verbindungssystem zum Verbinden von Profilschienen, insbesondere CD60/27-Deckenprofilen, wenigstens bestehend aus einem Verbinder, der einen mittleren Boden und zwei seitlich daran angeformte, abgewinkelte Schenkel aufweist, wobei der Verbinder in die Profilschiene derart einsteckbar ist, daß die Schenkelenden unter nach innen umgebördelten Schenkelenden der zu verbindenden Profilschienen greifen, so daß ein Halt des Verbinders in der Profilschiene gegeben istThe present invention relates to a connection system for connecting profile rails, in particular CD60 / 27 ceiling profiles, at least consisting of a connector having a central bottom and two laterally formed thereon, angled legs, wherein the connector is inserted into the rail such that the leg ends engage under inwardly flared leg ends of the profile rails to be connected, so that a hold of the connector is given in the rail

Such a connector is known for example from DE 44 29 078 C2. The connector shown there has a W-like profile, the two legs in the inserted position substantially parallel to each other and is clamped directly between the bottom of the rail and the flanged leg ends of the rail. A disadvantage of this connector is that in profile rails with larger manufacturing tolerances, d. H. different distance between the flanged leg ends to the bottoms of the rails, the connector either does not find a substantially backlash-free or so difficult to plug into the profile that he must be hammered with a hammer.

Furthermore, from DE 43 22 631 C2, a connector with a W-shaped cross-section is known, however, can withstand no major burdens because of the relative to the bottom and the legs of the rail inclined leg. Document US-A-2 648 102 discloses a further connection of profile rails.

The object of the present invention is to improve a connector of the type described above in such a way that it can be plugged with a secure fit easier in profile rails with greater manufacturing tolerance.

According to the invention the object is achieved in that the connector has a U-like profile cross section, wherein the legs have first leg portions parallel to each other, which are angled substantially vertically from the bottom in the direction of the leg ends and their distance from one another smaller than the inner width of the profile rail to be joined is to connect to the first leg portions respectively intermediate portions which extend away from each other to the outside, and join at the intermediate portions second leg portions which form the leg ends.

The connection system according to the invention with its connector has the advantage that the outwardly extending intermediate sections allow a compression of the leg ends with respect to the ground, so that even with narrow rails easy insertion by hand in the rail is possible, while on the other hand, when exhausted the permissible tolerance further rails still a secure grip with a system of leg ends on the undersides of the flanged leg ends of the rail is possible.

While in principle, for example, an S-shape of the legs with a soft transition between the leg sections forming intermediate portion is conceivable, an embodiment is preferred in which the entire intermediate portion is formed substantially parallel to the ground, so that the webs have a Z-like shape , This shape causes a particularly good spring action and allows a greater height of the first leg portions, which simplifies the provision of a holder, which will be discussed in more detail below.

Particularly preferred is an embodiment in which the second leg portions are inclined at an angle of less than 90 ° with respect to the bottom at their ends facing each other. This slight deviation from the right angle has the advantage that the second leg portions may rest in the region of the intermediate portion on the inside of the legs of the rails, but with their leg ends which are offset to the Schenkelinnenwandungen the rail highest elevations at the bottom of the flanged leg ends of the rails can reach, so that a particularly secure fit of the connector is ensured in the rail.

In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention it is provided that the first vertical leg sections has the already mentioned holders for second connecting elements of the connection system, which can be inserted with insertion tabs axially with respect to the direction of extension of the profile rails in a holder.
The connecting elements expand the connection possibilities of the connection system with respect to a simple connector, which is suitable in the first place for the front-side connection of two profile rails, considerably, depending on the design of the connection elements The connection of rails in different angular positions or a ceiling-side suspension is possible Thus, the connecting elements may for example consist essentially of metal strips having on both sides Einstecklaschen which are arranged at a certain angle to each other. In this way, the connection of two connectors is possible, which are respectively inserted into a rail, wherein the angle between the Einstecklaschen is selected according to the desired position of the rails to each other.

While in principle two separate connecting elements are possible for connecting in each case a first leg section of a connector to a first leg section of a further connector, it is also conceivable that the insertion tabs are formed in pairs on each side of the connecting element at a distance corresponding to the spacing of the first vertical leg sections, so that only one connecting element is necessary for connecting two connectors.

In principle, further embodiments of connecting elements are conceivable, for example, which are provided on one side with a pair of insertion tabs in the appropriate distance and have further fastening members, such as. As a suspension device or a clamping device for lateral flanging to a CD rail.

The brackets are preferably made of the material of the connector exhibited retaining tabs which at least partially embrace the Einstellasche. Per holder preferably at least two retaining tabs are provided. The retaining tabs may, for example, extend parallel to each other at a certain distance from each other to the first vertical leg portions, so that the tucked tabs are held between the retaining tabs and the vertical leg portions. Also, a bow-like issuing of the vertical first leg portions is conceivable, wherein they form closed insertion openings for the insertion tabs.

At the tuck or the vertical first leg portions spring tongues or the like may be formed, which snap in the inserted position of the tuck in a locking opening on the other part. In addition to a secure hold of the fasteners on the connector the noticeable snapping of the spring tongues is also a response to the fitter, who knows that he then has inserted the tuck sufficiently deep into the holder.

In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, at the bottom of the connector, a tab is provided with a side facing away from the leg ends projecting end, which forms a stop when using the connector for frontally connecting two rails, so that the compound is not too deep in one Profile rail is inserted and subsequently found on the other plugged rail no longer sufficient support. While in principle a fixed stop is possible, the formation of the stop on a tab has the advantage that after mounting the tab can be pushed upwards, so that it no longer protrudes over the lower surfaces of the rails, because at a fixed stop upon subsequent attachment of, for example, plasterboard to the underside of the rails, the stop could cause damage. The spring tab can be easily bendable so that they are pushed up during assembly of the plasterboard by this, without damaging the plates.

Fig. 5 und 6) gezeigt, beispielsweise sog. Diese Profilschienen besitzen einen Boden 14 und seitliche Schenkel 16 mit nach innen umgebördelten Schenkelenden 18.1 shows a connector 10 for the front-side connection of two profiled rails 12 (see FIGS. 5 and 6), for example so-called CD60 / 27 ceiling profiles, as used for constructing supporting structures of suspended ceilings. These rails have a bottom 14 and side legs 16 with inwardly flared leg ends 18th

The connector 10 has a U-like basic shape with a bottom 20, on each of which a leg 22 is laterally formed. The legs 22 each have a first, angled at 90 ° to the ground first leg portion 24, an adjoining, lying parallel to the ground, outwardly facing intermediate portion 26 and each adjoining the intermediate portions 26 second leg portion 28 whose leg end 30 below the flanged leg ends 18 of the rails to be connected 12 engages. Run-in slopes 31 facilitate the insertion of the connector under the flanged leg ends 18 of a rail 12. The second leg portions 28 are at an acute angle of about 85 °, d. H. slightly deviating from the right angle, formed so that they can reach the highest points of the flanged leg ends, which are offset from the inner edges of the legs 16 of the rails to be connected 12, but at the same time in the region of the intermediate portion 26 at just these inner edges of the legs sixteenth may be present to achieve a secure stop.

Bei das Sollmaß übersteigender Höhe wird dabei immer noch ein sicheres Festlegen des Verbinders ermöglicht, während bei einem Unterschreiten der Sollhöhe eine Montage ohne allzu hohen Kraftaufwand möglich istThe vertical with respect to the two leg portions 24, 28 alignment of the intermediate portion 26 gives the leg 22 a certain spring action, so that it can compensate for a large tolerance range of the rail to be joined with deviating distances between the bottoms 14 and the flanged leg ends 18. At the nominal height exceeding height is still a secure setting of the connector allows while below a target height mounting without too much effort is possible

If the connector 10 is used for the frontal connection of two profiled rails, it is initially pushed into the front side into a profiled rail 12 until the bottom 14 of this profiled rail with its front edge on a stop 32 (see FIG Sheet metal tab 34 abuts. Subsequently, the second rail can be plugged. The advantage of the stop 32 shown on a sheet metal tab 34 is that after the construction of the ceiling construction of the stopper 32 can be slightly pushed upwards bending the tab 34 so that an installation example of ceiling panels directly to the underside of the floors 20 of the rails is possible without these being damaged by the stop 32.

The advantage of the connector 10 shown in Fig. 1 is also that it is due to its in the profile rails 12 inserted state at a distance from the legs 16 lying first leg portions 24 by simple connecting elements 36, 38, 40 (see. 4) is easily expandable to a connection system with a variety of connectivity options. For this purpose, the connector 10 has brackets 42, which consist in the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 substantially of two extending in the direction of extension of the rails to be connected 12 retaining tabs 44, which lie at a certain distance from the outer surfaces of the first leg portions 24. It would also be conceivable to form the retaining tabs on the inside with a corresponding distance from the inside of the first leg sections 24. Insertion tabs 46 of the connecting elements 36, 38, 40 can be inserted between the retaining tabs 44, wherein the insertion can also be made after the connector 10 has been inserted into the profile rail, since the first leg sections 24 are offset inwards with respect to the inner edges of the flanged leg ends 18 lie to be connected rails.

Fig. 7) verhindern ein zu weites Einschieben der Einstecklaschen 46.In order to define the end positions of the inserted insertion tabs 46, spring tabs 48 are provided on the first leg sections 24, which can be snapped into recesses 50 in the insertion tabs 46 of the connecting elements 36, 38, 40, wherein the connecting elements are also secured against being pulled out. Stops 52 on the connecting elements, which rest against the intermediate sections 26 (see Fig. 7) prevent too far insertion of the tuck 46th

Im einfachsten Fall können mit den Verbindungselementen 36 aus Fig. 2 zwei Profilschienen im Winkel von 90° zueinander verbunden werden.2, in which two connecting straps 46 are arranged at an angle of 90 ° to each other, can be rails 12, for example, in the manner shown in Fig. 5 connect, in Fig. 5 a certain Height offset between rails is compensated by using two pairs of fasteners. In the simplest case, two profiled rails can be connected to one another at an angle of 90 ° with the connecting elements 36 from FIG.

By means of the connecting element 40 shown in Fig. 4, which in addition to a pair of Einstecklaschen 46 has an already known clamping / Biegelasche 54, a lateral butt joint of two rails 12 is possible (see Fig. 6), wherein the connecting element 40 inserted into a first rail 12 and then its clamping / bending tab 54 is bent over the edge of a transversely to the first rail 12 extending second rail 12. In Fig. 6, an application example is shown in which two mutually parallel rails 12 are stiffened by means of an intermediate, vertically oriented rail, two connectors 10 and two connecting elements 40.

As an alternative to the particularly easily produced retaining tabs 44, other embodiments for the formation of brackets are conceivable. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 8, a holder 142 consists in each case of two stirrup-like holding tabs 144 which lie at a distance parallel to one another perpendicular to the insertion direction of the insertion tabs 46. Closed insertion openings 145 are formed between the retaining tabs 144 and the outer flanks of the first leg sections 24, into which the insertion tabs 46 can be inserted.

The embodiment of a connector shown in Fig. 8 also shows the peculiarity that instead of the spring tabs embossed projections 148 protrude on the outer sides of the first leg portions 24 which are snapped into correspondingly shaped recesses in the insertion tabs 46.

In the illustrated connectors 10, 110 and connecting elements 36, 38, 40 has been taken to ensure that they can be made in one piece from a sheet, d. H. the material for the retaining tabs 44 and the stop tab 34 is punched out of the sheet metal material.
