Die beiden Profile sind mittels Schrauben zu einem insbesondere als Eckprofil der Trennwand ausgebildeten Gesamtprofil verbindbar, wobei die Trennwand einerseits ein feststehendes plattenförmiges Trenn- oder Wandelement und andererseits ein als Schiebetür ausgebildetes bewegbares Trennelement aufweist. Das Profilsystem enthält zusätzlich zu den beiden Profilen weitere Profile, mittels welchen die Verbindung mit einer Raumwand oder die Befestigung eines Türflügels oder die Verbindung von zwei feststehenden Wandelementen oder dergleichen ermöglicht wird. Um den unterschiedlichsten Einbaubedingungen oder Anwendungsfällen entsprechen zu können, muß das vorbekannte Profilsystem eine recht hohe Anzahl von unterschiedlich ausgebildeten Profilen umfassen, wodurch ein nicht unerheblicher Aufwand für die Fertigung und Lagerhaltung bedingt ist. Die auch als Profilschienen bezeichneten Profile bestehen insbesondere aus Aluminium oder einer Aluminiumlegierung und für die Fertigung des jeweiligen Profiltyps sind spezielle und einen hohen Kostenaufwand erfordernde Werkzeuge erforderlich. Claims (10)

Profilsystem für Trennwände, insbesondere Duschtrennwände, enthaltend wenigstens zwei miteinander verbindbare Profile (2, 4, 6), mit welchen bevorzugt plattenförmige Trennelemente (24) verbindbar sind,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Profile (2, 4, 6) als Teilprofile ausgebildet sind, dass die Teilprofile (2, 4, 6) einer Verbindungsebene (8) zugeordnete und im wesentlichen übereinstimmend ausgebildete Enden (30, 31) aufweisen und dass zwei dieser Teilprofile (2, 4, 6) zu einem Gesamtprofil (12) derart kombinierbar und miteinander verbindbar sind, dass in der Verbindungsebene (8) die Enden (30, 31) der beiden Teilprofile (2, 4, 6) einander zugeordnet sind.
