Dadurch ist es möglich, Anlagen mit Zwischenlagern sehr einfach, ohne Drehscheiben und zusätzliche Geleise zur Rückführung von Wagen und ähnliche verhältnismässig teure und viel Platz erfordernde Einrichtungen zu bauen und auch ihre Steuerung einfach zu halten, so dass beim Betrieb keine unerwarteten Schwierigkeiten auftreten.
