  13. Protective and blocking device according to any of claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the first cladding tube (6) comprises a cover part (22) and/or a handle part (23) as a closure in the region of the front end thereof in the extension direction (arrow H).
  14. Protective and blocking device according to any of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the cladding tube (6) has a circular, oval, rectangular or polygonal contour in cross section.
  15. Protective and blocking device according to claim 1, characterised in that the telescopic assembly (T) can be moved perpendicularly to the supporting plane (E; E") formed by a floor or ceiling plane.
  16. Protective and blocking device according to any of claims 1 to 15, characterised in that the modular units (4, 4') or the telescopic assembly (T) can be moved perpendicularly to a supporting plane (E') provided as a vertical building wall.
  17. Protective and blocking device according to any of claims 1 to 16, characterised in that a plurality of the lowerable telescopic assemblies (T) having parallel longitudinal central axes (A, B) are integrated perpendicularly in series in a room plane, and the wall elements (2) thereof form connectable portions when in the extended position.
